Owner Brian Piccini and Chef/Owner Christopher Coombs are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave’s (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

First time trying this restaurant. Celebrated my birthday here and it was fabulous. Stunning atmosphere, great service and food. Requested a seat by the fireplace and they honored that, some places don't. Wonderful cocktails and they made my dessert order, a chocolate soufflé, extra special with a candle and "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate!! Highly recommend!!

Great experience based upon a co-worker recommendation. Space is airy but not bland, small but comfy bar area, service of bartender and server was top notch (and friendly valet too!). Food was well prepared, just the right mix of flavors and substance, proportions were generous enough so don’t be scared by going to a French restaurant. Prices were okay, not the best nor the worst. Duck was one of the tastiest we have had and the new pork dish was well delivered. The french onion soup was good but not great. Tasty drinks and deserts. Definitely on our must go back or our ‘must take visitors’ here lists.

It was our anniversary and we had a wonderful time! The place was very romantic, the food was amazing. It was pricey, but in our opinion worth it. I would go there for a special occasion, specially a romantic one.

If you have nothing else, have the onion soup; it’s amazingly good.

Very interesting menu. Execution very professional, but sometimes lacks panache and inspiration. Service sometimes overbearing, staff should know when not to interrupt a conversation. The waiter should be attentive enough so as to not stop a joke before the punchline to ask if the food is good.

The words that could begin to even possibly describe the caliber of this experience do not exist in the English language.

The Valentine's Day menu was incredibly expensive however the food was very mediocre and the portions were tiny. We left disappointed.

The 5 course valentine menu is 159 dollars. However the daily 5 course is only 99 dollars. The value is real pool.

I went there for Valentine’s Day and the service was amazing. It was beautiful and very elegant place. The atmosphere wasn’t too loud and everything was perfect from beginning to end!
