Wonderful experience as always! I had a dish I haven't had before, Lamb, and it was delicious. Try anything!

Food prepared simply, but carefully with bright fresh flavors. relaxing ambience with efficient, friendly service.

Went for dinner and discovered the Ahi Tuna sold out during lunch, wasn’t happy about that and the pizza we shared had a distinct fish smell/taste to it but that might of been the toppings.

The ambiance really makes this spot a winner. The food is solid but nothing to write about other than it’s good value, plentiful, and likely consistent. The outdoor dining is lovely out back surrounding a large pool. Lots of time to leisure over a meal in a pretty place.

Lovely setting around the pool and our server Anna was extraordinary. Food arrived quickly and very hot. The food could use a little more finesse but the prices were very fair.

Easter dinner- wonderful

Historical “hidden” gem off the Sonoma Plaza that we regret not visiting sooner. Enjoyed a perfect Easter dinner of a shared Caesar salad, Dungeness crab cannelloni for me & my husband had chicken parm that was served with some tortellini & green beans. A little veg with some acidity with the rich crab cannelloni on an otherwise colorless plate would have been nice but it was delish! We also shared the limoncello cake with mango sauce for dessert, which was the perfect ending. Service was pleasant & attentive without being over the top annoying. Atmosphere outdoors with the sound of the pool fountain was very relaxing. Highly recommend.

This was our second time at your restaurant, once for our anniversary and once for Easter. Everything was wonderful, love it.

The Tonnarelli was excellent--the sauce a garlicky, tomato-ey, nicely salted triumph--and the limoncello cake delightful, light and tangy. Our daughter enjoyed the salmon dish and the tiramisu. The ambiance is lovely, perfect for an era of outdoor seating, and we had a very enjoyable evening.

Really wanted to like this place, but the food just didn’t cut it, especially for the price.

One of sonomas hidden gems! Right across from depot park with lots of parking. Food is amazing and changes everyday! The chef is very sweet and will cater to your dietary needs. All the staff is very attentive and some of the nicest people. The patio has a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend

The restaurant did an excellent job at ensuring there were enough space heaters to keep diners warm at outdoor dining. We weren’t cold during our 2 hour meal. Service was great. The black spaghetti with seafood was my personal fave.

The outdoor patio is a lovely place to share a meal. Almost a throw back to another time but still has charm. The food is quite good. Not fine dining but a recommended place to enjoy lunch or dinner in the town of Sonoma.

We've been going to The Depot Hotel for many years and have never been disappointed.
We've celebrated many birthdays there and recently our 50th wedding anniversary. The food is always top notch and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. You can't beat the lovely location whether dining inside or outside around the beautiful pool and gardens.
Their entrees are priced competitively for Sonoma and the servings are generous.

Lovely atmosphere, good food, fairly quiet, and friendly wait staff - who could want anything more.

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday while in Sonoma for the weekend and made dinner reservations at 7pm. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and immediately taken to the outdoor patio. We were seated at a patio table that was situated between two portable heaters. Service was efficient and our servers friendly and helpful. All 4 of us loved our food. I definitely will return.

The service and food was outstanding. Our server, Miguel, went out of his way to
be sure that all we ordered was the best. And it was. We highly recommend dining at the Depot Hotel.

Veal scallopini was delicious. Mushrooms were very flavorful. The black squid ink seafood pasta was a little on the salty side but tasty. There was so much seafood I wanted more pasta noodles to go with it.
Waitress was very attentive and took care of us nicely. Reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

This is a great restaurant especially during these COVID times. Their outdoor seating are tables around a pool with beautiful greeneries around. They provide ample heating since it’s been cold lately. The food was wonderful. The pork chop was tender and delicious while the Tonnarelli was to die for. Never had black pasta before with seafood and they made it just perfect. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t believe we’ve never been here before even though we live in the area. I guess it’s because they are a bit off Sonoma Square. But this is one restaurant we’re definitely coming back to.

Delightful surroundings sitting by the pool. Service was timely without being bothersome. We all enjoyed every bite of our meals! Well worth the experience.

They only supplied a small portable heater underneath our table that didn't warm the four of us at all. Our dinner would have been much more enjoyable if we weren't shivering. They do have large patio heaters in other areas of their patio.

The food, atmosphere and staff could not be better! Our waiter Cooper was phenomenal and the food is alllllllways consistently delicious!! Our favorite place in Sonoma for sure, especially sitting on their gorgeous back patio feeling like we're in Italy!

The Depot is always a favorite when I visit Sonoma County. The food is consistently good to excellent, the setting generally quiet and casual-elegant. The wait staff is attentive and doesn't intrude. Overall, The Depot is a great place to dine for lunch or dinner. FYI, I ordered the curry clam chowder during my last visit...YUM!
