Excellent food and service. Best restaurant in Winter Park
Sat us right next to the waiter/waitress station when the back half of the restaurant was empty very noisy spot will never do that again. Hamburger buns were charcoal burnt
Was worth the price. Delicious. Great friendly staff! Looking forward to or next trip. Deno's will be on our list ti visit evertime we come in town.
made reservation it was a special occasion.. a birthday / anniversary; made it explicit in the reservation... front of house and wait staff did not acknowledge and i wasn’t going to remind them.. steak$39 was decent but not a $39/steak... they didn’t make our special occasion special at all... o would not go back due to that oversight.
Great as always!
First time visit and we loved it. Amy was great and took excellent care of us. The food was wonderful. Pork sliders, wings and shared a burger. Everything was delicious. We will definitely stop here next time we’re in town.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Deno's. Great wine list, great service, great food. What more could you want?
Have been there before. 6 adults, 2 toddlers. Burrata cheese app was wonderful. Had the Lamb Shank, Beef Tips and some pastas. All very good. Service also very good. Thanks Bill! Sides with the meals were tasty and inventive. Our kids will remember this time and be back as will we.
The Alaskan king crab was horrible. Very dry and rubbery. Overall want to bad the service was great and they reasonably compt my bill for the crab. A little to pricey
A little loud at first as it was crowded, but Brian our server was great, food delicious and just a perfect spot for a birthday celebration.
Wait staff wonderful. Food VERY tasty. We eat here OFTEN. Only complaint would be sometimes the food is not properly cooked (artichoke has been under cooked several times and king crab overcooked once). However the flavor and quality of food, wait staff, management, and atmosphere FAR outweigh the occasional food prep issues.
We went on a Saturday night. The place was nearly full but we were promptly seated and had an excellent waitress who knew the menu well and was able to describe the dishes. We started with calamari which was excellent. The two main courses were tasty as well. The food was timely served and at the right temperature. I would recommend Denos to anyone including foodies. The wine list is quite extensive.
We have dined here many times and have always enjoyed our time and dinners here. The menu ranges from pizza's to Steak and Lobster and everything in between. The happy hour menu is excellent and also the drinks. Dress is casual and the locals are always at the bar. We highly recommend the restaurant for is atmosphere and food.
It was great!!!!
Have not ben to Deno's for a few years and forgot how good the food was. Interior dated but I am there to eat. Will be returning on my next trip from Michigan to Grand County.
Loved the food and our you g kids did to!!! The French onion soup and steaks are fantastic!!!
We were in town for the week on a skiing trip and had dinner here on our last night. The food was pretty good, we shared a burata caprese for starters which was very flavorful and tasty. My girlfriend had a margherita pizza and I had the Sausage ragu. Both were excellent. The portions were generous and the service was great. Our waiter Bill was very attentive and entertaining as well as efficient. The restaurant was crowded but we had reservations and were seated right away. The place was a bit noisy, but overall very good value for the money.
Appetizers were better than actual meals. The blue tip beef and calamari were very good. Steaks were average, a little over cooked when considering temperature ordered. However, still one of the better places to eat in Winter Park.
Mediocre at best. My ribeye steak was a poor cut of beef and very chewy. My husband's filet was overcooked. Potatoes tasted as if they had been reheated. The bread they served was ice cold. For $40 a steak I would have expected much better. Very disappointed.
Best spot in WP! Great food that's perfect after a ski day.
We hosted an engagement dinner here during Spring Break and although the restaurant was packed, I booked in advanced and our tables for 16 were waiting when we walked in the door as well as located in the best part of the restaurant by a fireplace. The wait staff was excellent and the food even better. The wine list is endless and the food was delivered to everyone at about the same time and was excellent. We returned 3 nights later with a smaller group because we enjoyed it so much. Brian (manager), Amy and Brian the wait staff were very helpful in making our special occasion extra special. I recommend the Lobster Ravioli and the Pork Chop.
Came upon this restaurant from multiple recommendations and was not disappointed, everything was excellent. Had we dined here earlier in our trip, we would have definitely returned.
Food was Bland and overpriced. Lots of loud children running around
7 of us went and everyone loved their meal, even the one with special dietary needs. The salmon was wonderful, short rib & sausage Ragu was outstanding, lamb shanks were delicious, medallion rustics was very good, kids had pasta and they loved it. Our kids did not like the Mac and cheese. Great evening!
The food was so good we ate there twice in one week while on vacation with our family.
We love a great steak. This was our 2nd time at this restaurant and both times my son order the steak medium rare and it came med well... I ordered a porkchop this time around, medium WELL. It came very pink.. We spent, $160.00 for 2 and left very unsatisfied. Having to constantly look for our waitress for refills on water. BTW.. she was sitting at a table rolling silverware and eating. I totally don't mind paying for a great meal but a restaurant who charges upwords of $50 for a piece of meat should get it right the first time..
Excellence all the way around!! Service was unbelievable. We had the wings, salmon, ribeye and blue tips (appetizer), finished with caramel tiramisu and chocolate cake. We were very impressed all the way around. We will definitely be dining here again when we visit.
Creative menue and good service. Food selections were ALL very tasty. Not the cheapest place in town but okay for that special occasion. Julie was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offerings.
Great place to eat staff is friendly and fast food is perfect the steaks are delicious Great place to eat after s day on the slipes
No one came to our table for overc15 mins when seated. Then once we put our drink orders in the bartender came over after 15 mins to inform us they dont have absolut vodka. We figured they would send them right over finally but waited another 10 mins!
It was busy very unorganized and very poor food but great bread!! Lol
Great apres ski ambience. Good food and drink.
Had a great time with our adult kids and their friends.
Excellent choice at winter park! Delicious food great service
Have eaten here several times on ski vacations. It never disapoints. The steaks are cooked to perfection.
We shared everything so we could experience more of the menu. Filet with gouda on the side...cooked perfectly and the gouda was a delicious suggestion by our waitress. Lobster ravioli with a little spicy kick. Garden salad. Simple, lite. Not huge portions so we weren’t stuffed. Nice wine and beer to go along with our meal. We were quite happy with the meal!
Was in Winter Park last week for a ski trip and went to Deno's twice. It was my favorite place in Winter Park that we ate. Great food and really good service (from host and wait staff) both times. Good wine list and great bourbon list. Good cocktails. If you are in the mood for a salad, the Greek salad is one of the best I have ever had. The French Onion soup is good as well. Had a friend try and shrimp cargo and raved about it. All in all a great experience. Looking forward to coming back to Winter Park next year and for sure will hit up Deno's.
30 years owning my own restaurant!
My wife and I say this was excellent!
I was disappointed. I had 2 different people recommend it and didn't feel like it was worth the price. I had the Lobster Ravs which were ok but nothing great. I felt it was over priced for what we got. My husband had the Salmon and it was quite small and just average.
Saturday night decibel levels are very high. Chicken dish served was borderline grotesque in appearance. Could not wait to leave. Plenty of opportunity to improve.
Terrible evening. After trying to dine there multiple times before I finally booked a reservation far in advance for a special date. Got off to a great start with a corner table. But it was almost too noisy to talk. I love a well paced dinner especially when eating a $40 steak. Our salad came 2 minutes before our entrees. We split a large salad but arrived with no way to serve it.
The waiter apologized but all in all it was a terrible experience, an expensive steak and I won’t go back.
