Went here for an anniversary dinner as we were seeing a show at the Pantages. The highlight of this place is the proximity to the Theatre which is literally across the street. The service was incredibly poor and from the time we sat down for our reservation until our food arrived was nearly 90 minutes. I would not recommend this place or will ever be going back unfortunately on account of our experience.

We attended the theater . We have eaten many times over the years
Service was excellent
My husband and I were surprised at the low quality of the food . His Veggie were under cooked
My salad was smaller than normal and the shrimp was poor quality and not enough for price paid even the lettuce was sub standard
And to top it all.. Out of Pinot Grie!!
Unfortunately it will not be our favorite restaurant any more

Probably understaffed. But took 10 mins before someone came to the table after speaking to the host. Of the limited menu of about 10 entrees, 3 we requested we all sold out.

They have changed their menu since the last time I ate there and was very disappointed in that. Limited options and last night they were out of two of the items we wanted, so that made the selections even smaller and they were out of one of the wines we ordered so instead of telling us, they arbitrarily substituted another one. Meals didn't come out together, we had to ask where the three meals that we were missing were. Servers were not very attentive, had to flag them down to get things we needed. Over all was very disappointed. I wish they would bring back the menu they had before or at least add more selections to the menu that they have now and not run out of things. Very sad.

Do not go here if you are in a hurry. Our waitress was very kind, however it took 20 minutes just to get drinks and 45 minutes to get our food. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger and 5 minutes before it came out a server told us that they were out of hamburger buns asked her if bread would be ok. Of course it wasn't so she didn't eat and my food never came out. We had to leave to get in line for the show at the Pantages. The manager comped our meal luckily since I had to buy expensive snacks at the theater since we were both starving.

We arrived for brunch at 11:15 so we would have plenty of time to eat before the 1:00 Sunday show at the Pantages across the street. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant when we were seated (party of 5 adults and 2 pre-teens). We received water from the busboy soon after we were seated, but then we weren't approached by any other staff member for at least 15 minutes. A party of 3 was seated after us and the food server waited on them before getting to us. There was plenty of staff members running around. It took an hour for most of us to get our food. By this time, it was 12:30. Two members of our party did not get their food and 1 member didn't get his complete order until 10 minutes after the rest of us had started eating. We gobbled our food down so we could get to the show on time. Because of COVID screening at the theater, we made it to our seats at 12:59. I have eaten at the Delphine numerous times before and always had a good experience. It didn't appear that they were understaffed as many restaurants are, so I don't know if that was the problem.

Not a place you a running to for a special meal but delivers on your expectation for what it is - a hotel restaurant mostly for tourists - service is typically slower but very friendly - pricey but again you expect that at a W

Steak medallions were under cooked. When advising the server of this, he said oh the chefs can be mean like that. Really? Took 45 minutes to just get our salad. Too expensive for quality and lack of service. Would not recommend.

Servers were rude and indifferent... had to ask for refills of iced tea, food was below average and there is a 17% service charge included automatically so there’s no incentive for great service

Great service. Went to dinner at 5:30 before Hamilton at the Pantages. It was a good time because we finished by 6:45 and had time to walk on Hollywood Blvd before the show. We didn’t want leftovers so we shared the chicken and a salad. That was the perfect choice for the two of us. The chicken was delicious even though the server next to us said it was his least favorite item on the menu LOL!

We were looking forward to lunch before a show. Unfortunately service was horrible. We had to ask for water several times, our meals came incomplete, had to ask several times for beverage refills and when we passed our credit cards to pay the bill, we then had to find another server to chase down our receipts and credit cards.

Not sure if they were understaffed or there was an unexpected occurrence, but everything took a long time, multiple orders were messed up, the staff was frantic though really did try to give good customer service and make up for it. Portions were very small for the price, but it was hard to judge given several of our sides were forgotten and never delivered, fancy drinks came out in different glasses because they had run out of glassware/clean dishes. The food was ok, not bad but not great, though our experience may not have been representative. The server was great and gave us 20% off the whole bill for the trouble.

Such a great night coming to dinner before seeing Hamilton. Our server was amazing. She made sure that we were aware of all items listed and not listed on the menu. We had truffle fries, ravioli and skirt steak. Everything was superb. And my espresso martini was a great desert drink! I can not wait to go back!

Delphine's is in a very convenient location for theater goers, and that is the appeal for me. If it was around the corner from the present location, I would not go. The prices are too high and the service is mediocre at best. We had a waitress that was not attentive, misinformed us of the catch of the day, kept walking passed us after we told her we were going to the theater--show starting shortly. That was frustrating. She gave us dessert for the misinformation, but nothing replaces great service--especially when the bill is over $300 and the 17% tip that is automatically charged is $46. My catch of the day was $45. I expected salmon, but received sea bass. That is a much better deal. However, what can you expect from a waitress that does not know the catch of the day when the menu does not tell you? And, she was missing for more than fifteen minutes-- I stopped counting after that. I wanted to add to my order. Regular middle class people can afford to go to Delphine's, but is it worth it? The food was a 7 on a scale of 1-10. I had to pay an up charge for salad to replace the vegetables--broccoli and cauliflower--that came with the meal. So, my meal of sea bass, rice and salad was $49. Considering flavor and service, I would have accessed the meal worth $30 on the high end. There were five of us. Expensive alcoholic beverages were purchased in addiction to the food. I drank hot water. I had to catch a waiter assistant and ask for more water, but the waitress did ask about more alcohol. Equality would have been nice. Do not ignore me because I am drinking hot water, not cold, and not alcohol.
Delphine's does not deserve my business or anyone else's until the prices match the service, flavor, and does not have such a severely limited menu. The menu did not even have hamburgers. The last time I was there, it did. And, the price was acceptable. On a positive note, the food was good--not delicious, but as I wrote earlier a 7. I probably will not return.

Delphine's was wonderful!! The service was awesome. Our server was very attentive, pleasant and warm. Food was amazing! My daughter, niece and I had the crab cakes, salmon, and filet beef medallions, along with their calamari and hummus appetizers. All great choices and cooked to perfection, and very flavorable. We finished our meal with the chocolate lava cake. Prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for. It really was a fabulous dining experience and worth every penny. Definitely coming back for more, and if you are looking for a quality restaurant with a lovely ambiance, great service, and really good food, I highly recommend Delphine's

With the exception of the cloth seats being stained and appearing dirty and being seated in the back, service and food was very good.

I feel like the from of the restaurant appears very nice, that same ambiance should be carried throughout the entire restaurant

Just please clean the cloth seats or have replaced.

Our server was horrible! We waited and waited and waited! So did other people. A couple even got up and left! Another diner got up and took utensils and napkin from the server station where the server was taking his time punching in things for about 20 minutes. He didn’t acknowledge anyone and clearly was not taking care of the folks that he was supposed to be tending to.

Brunch before the Pantages Theater on Sunday!
Menu was great and interesting twists on the conventional breakfast!
Service was a bit slow, but they were short in staff!
But food was delicious and we finished in plenty of time to walk across to the Theater!
