12oz center cut tenderloin
Good wine selection. Decent Scotch selection.
First basket of bread was rock hard. Felt like I was a Neanderthal trying to rip a bite off without success. Replacement basket was somewhat better. Possibly end of the day bread, but it was dinner (2030).
The calamari was divine.
Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly, however rather fatty. Delicious and full of flavor.
The center cut tenderloin was charred yet very rare (cold center,bloody). Requested that I.T be made again. They chose to butterfly the cut since I.T was a very thick cut. Second attempt was very very over cooked. Disappointed, after all this is an upscale steak chop house, that they couldn’t get medium prep correct.
They removed the cut from the bill, but I left hungry still.
The lyonnaise potatoes were amazing.
Service was good, but completely disappointed that no management came over to address the multiple issues we had.
The meal was much too pricey for what was received overall. I left hungry for $150.
If the waiter had not been both genuine and sincere this would have been a 1 star rating.
From start to finish, The ambience, the service, the delicious food and the beautiful surroundings made our experience wonderful. Caring and professional waitstaff, effective management and superb steaks and sides were the hallmark of this meal. High quality beef cooked perfectly. And the desserts were phenomenal- warm chocolate chip cookie in a large ramekin made to order with ice cream on top. Delicate trio of sorbets were perfection. Cannot wait to go back!
The wait for food is about 45 mins and when we did get our food the sides were cold the waiter was nice but not attentive at all I means it’s a little pricey so I expected full service but definitely didn’t get it I may go back to sit at the bar but I doubt I would go back for the dining room
Delmonico's is one of my favorites restaurants. I was surprised that Navin had left, but Louis took good care of us .Food was good and my grandson likes the Strip Sirloin. I had a Veal Chop and it was kind of fatty. My wife had a Chicken dinner and she said it was quite good. The price was kind of high,but that's the price you pay for good food
We were staying at the hotel and it was cold outside so we decided to eat here. the food was very good. We ate both rolls before dinner which was a mistake because we couldn’t eat everything, I had the tuna and it was very good. My husband had the chicken which was also good. It’s a bit pricey, but on a cold night it was worth it
Apparently it was the wrong choice for that specific night; apparently the hostess and manager and several employees quit earlier that day. The maître d took care of our table most of the evening and hotel employees were called from other areas to assist the restaurant. My first time so not a great impression by my two guests insisted they are regular customers and have never had an issue with the service or the food.
Meh! Have enjoyed Delmonico’s in Las Vegas and New Orleans and this one is nothing like them. It’s basically a mid-range Hilton dining room in a crappy area. Convenient if staying in the hotel but that’s it. Food was ok. Service was a disaster. Steak house pricing for ok food.
I am a consultant who has traveler for business over 12 years. This might have been the worst service I have experienced. The waiter rarely stopped by our table. Wine glasses at the entire table were empty before we had to flag him down to order another bottle. 3 out of 5 entrees were severely under or over cooked. They offered to comp our dessert and then billed us for it. During dinner, we observed multiple other tables with similar experiences. I will never go back.
Food was excellent. We both had steaks and they melted in our mouths. We sent our compliments to the chef and the kitchen. Atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. The icing on the cake was the service. Every single person that we came in contact with was not only polite, they were happy and enjoyable. They were accommodating and helpful with everything. This restaurant was a little on the pricier side. But, they earn every penny. We walked away thoroughly satisfied. Thank you!
What started out as a pleasant experience turned into a really bad one because of the terrible service we received. Our waiter was inattentive and rude. A request to split our check into 2 parties and to see the manager turned into the waiter shouting at us from across the restaurant that we could request a manager ourselves. Totally unacceptable! The manager was initially not very helpful and the waiter was allowed to remain on the floor serving other guests near us.
Service was very slow and inattentive. The scallop appetizer was good. We ordered a fillet very rare, which came out medium. Sent it back and the next one was medium-rare. We also ordered the halibut which was dry on the outside and mushy inside. Probably the worst halibut I've ever had. We expressed our disappointment to the waiter, who sent the manager over. The manager wasn't even concerned about what was wrong. He offered us free dessert, which we declined. A very disappointing experience.
Very poor wait staff - I think they were very understaffed. They even had the host bringing out meals and trying to help out. When no one asks you how your meal was and then you need to get up to fetch your server for the check, the very expensive dinner bill, which you might not mind if the experience is good, seems all the more of an insult. Despite good food, we will not be going back.
