Chef Emeril Lagasse's take on the grand American steakhouse. Delmonico Steakhouse takes its name from the legendary, century-old New Orleans institution, Delmonico Restaurant and Bar. With one of the top meat selections globally, Delmonico Steakhouse focuses on in-house dry aging Creekstone Farm meat selections.     Service was very good and bone-in ribeye was amazing. Shrimp dumplings were not great - very small, fried, not much stuffing and not much flavor - 5 little dinky things for $25 was not worth it. We then shared gumbo and a wedge salad and both were good though gumbo could use some spice. Bone-in ribeye was amazing and we paired it with garlic mushrooms. With all of that, a potato-based or mac-and-cheese side would have been too much. We skipped dessert and cocktails. Out the door: $250 which is exactly what I expected.

    Steaks were awesome! Sides were ok as was the wine. They didn’t have the bottle we wanted and had a som recommended one instead. Chocolate bombe was outstanding as was the service.

    My wife and I had dinner last night at Delmonico… and it was fabulous. The food was very good… filet, sea bass, Caesar salad, charred Brussels sprouts were all delicious. The banana crème pie was luscious. Our waiter, Rene, and his crew were absolutely top-notch. We left fully satisfied and wanting nothing. I’ve seen complaints about the noise level, which must have been a bad night/unruly table. Our experience was very pleasant. We’ll be back.

    Overall, the service at this restaurant was decent, but not what you’d expect at that price. The food was disappointing. We ordered a boneless ribeye and a side of potatoes. The steak was excessively greasy—so much so that we couldn’t finish it. The side of potatoes was cold, which only added to the underwhelming experience. For the price point, sides should really be included, not charged separately. To make matters worse, the presentation was lacking; the steak was simply placed on a plate with no effort to make it visually appealing. At this price level, we expected a much higher standard.

    Outstanding from start to finish. The king crab app was huge (also expensive) but delicious. The Caesar was equally good and easily served 2 as advertised. The steak was perfectly prepared and seasoned just right. Ended the evening with a special of Tres Leches which was next level. Not sure if that was always on the menu or if it was a special but they need to keep it on all the time as it was one of the best I have had and I try it any chance I get. Service was super attentive and efficient. Will definitely come back again.
