Delmonico Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Treated my Bestie and her family out from England to celebrate to Delmonico's Las Vegas. I
brought them here 10 years ago on her birthday and they have never stopped talking about it so
I decided to repeat it. One of the comments was I did not think it could possibly be better, but it was! Exceptional service, exceptional food and we loved every minute of it! Fantastic way to celebrate! Thank you for exceeding everyone's expectations! Delightful evening!
I’ve been to many high-end steakhouses like Del Frisco’s, Trulucks, Morton’s, etc.
They Foley steak was not a great cut. Then it was under seasoned. The sides were average at best.
We were greeted with this mediocrity with a Las Vegas price (higher than similar in any other city).
My suggestion is to try any other steakhouse but Delmonico.. maybe Cut in the Venetian.
Food and service was fine. Had a nice bone-end rib eye. The atmosphere is terrible. Just plain white walls and no ambiance. Felt like they should serve tips and salsa! With Emeril's name on the place you would think it would be a classy restaurant . I guess I like all three when I go out: Food , Service and ambiance. This lacked in the latter category.
Food and drinks were ok but we expected better. We couldn’t finish either of our drinks, mojito and martini. They were just way too strong and no flavor. The lobster bisque was great. Our steak (we split our meal) was ok...little tough but decent tasting. The baked potato was cold and hard. The creamed spinach was very good. Overall it was a good average meal...nothing I wanted to complain about and certainly things you will experience at most any average restaurant....but we were seeking out an outstanding restaurant for our dinner,
My wife had the 16oz ribeye and i had the 6oz piedmontese filet mignon. Small portion for me, knowing my wife would not finish her portion. Both were exceptional, as was the service. We accompanied the meal with grilled green chiles, french onion soup and creamed spinach, all delicious. Too stuffed to have dessert and pressed for time (off to see a show), I went ahead and asked, "what's the best selling dessert?" The bannana cream pie...which is one of my favorites.
After the show, we returned and ordered dessert at the bar accompanied by an exceptional egg nog. A perfect ending to our evening with the most delicious banana creamed pie i have ever had.
We expected better, service was great, steak was just ok. I ordered an iceberg wedge showed up over chilled, blue cheese on it was nothing special The double baked potato was terrific, the churros we ordered for dessert showed dried up and over cooked, no pastry inside. Who ever is running the kitchen needs to pull it
together. People come for a great dining experience and leave with less than expected. I would not run back next time in Vegas.
I had heard many good things about this place. Finally went due to tight reservations for NYE everywhere else. Service was actually fantastic. Great wait staff. The food is way overpriced. 50 bucks for Risotto, hard to believe. I ordered the surf n turf wanting to try the Wagyu beef. I expected it to cut like butter. It was some work. It had a nice flavor but not at all that tender. The glass of wine was the smallest poor I have seen in years.
The decor is very plain , the prettiest part was the waiting area by the bar. Nice couches and a piano player. Eating at the bar would have been a better choice.
Spend your money at Ramsey's steak house at the Paris or they have fantastic steak at the Fix in the Bellagio.
On a lighter note, the banana cream pie here is phenominal. I would come back for dessert only.
Didn't know originally, but we were seated next to the bussers/servers station ... had to to hear the clanking and see dirty dishes. The special bone-in ribeye was almost all fat and unedible. The food fell flat. They let anyone dine with no dress code. Was extremely dissappointed.
