Everything was GREAT! I would go all the time if I lived in rapid city.

Bernardo was awesome and very courteous. The food was amazing and very filling.

Steak was not cooked as requested, and cold. Loaded baked potato was cold. Very limited selection of sides. Experience did not live up to expectations based on reviews, or on price relative to similar restaurants in the area.

Excellent place for dinner. Our meals were terrific. Soups are outstanding. STeaks are perfect. Fresh salads.

Bad service , bad food .

The maitre d essentially ruined our experience by stopping and talking at our table four times and lingering. We were also sat at the clear front and were very chilly and couldn’t remove our coats. Food tasted amazing though.

The finest steak and seafood restaurant here in Rapid City!! Wait staff are excellent! Service impeccable and food delectable! Definitely our favorite fine dining restaurant in the Rapid City Area! I always get the Prime Rib, my partner gets the delicious Ribeye. Appetizers such as crab beignets are to die for and foie gras is really good. We highly recommend this restaurant

We were a little confused about them not having liquor and also ranch dressing? My meal, the only vegan one on the menu, was pretty good. My boyfriend got a steak that he didn't even finish eating and described as bad, although it was $50 on the menu, he said he would have maybe paid $20 for it. No seasoning and not tender, he did enjoy their french onion soup a lot! The members of our party who got sandwiches were very pleased and felt they were worth the value. Overall, ambiance and service was great but I wouldn't go back because of how average the food was.

For the price ,it’s expected to have better steaks ,when well done is asked it should be well done not medium rare . Service was really nice !!

The best place to eat in Rapid City. We have never been disappointed. The service was great and the ambiance nice. It can get a little expensive when taking the whole family, but worth it in our opinion if celebrating a special occasion. Perfect for date nights.

Great experience, we’re out of two wines we ordered but since they have a great selection we had a great merlot. Had our 4 kids with and they were very hospitable. Kids had a blast and were able all the desserts... great experience.

Awesome Valentines Day dinner for four. Service was excellent.

The scanty amount of crab on my filet oscar upgrade was laughable, even for upscale dining. The quality of the crab was sub par as well. The tables and chairs were of cafeteria quality. Server was nice. Service was standard, nothing above and beyond in terms of personality, selling any particular dish or special, following up about food after a couple bites. Quality of steak was good although our medium filets were bordering well done. Overall, Delmonico is a poor value in terms of quality of food/service/ambience vs. price.

Many of the steaks/porkchops at our table were undercooked. One was sent back and two were not even eaten by the guests in our party.

My friends & I took advantage of restaurant week. Whether French onion soup, pork, salmon, or beef entrée or desserts, the food was fabulous! Excellent, well paced service. Noise was very appropriate, conducive to good conversation, but one felt free to laugh.

We visited the Delmonico Grill during restaurant week in Rapid City. It's also important to note that this is still during a time when Covid precautions are being observed.
The service was outstanding. During Restaurant Week, downtown restaurants have reduced price limited tasting style menus. We had prime rib for 2, which was an excellent value and very tasty. Any other week, the value probably wouldn't be 5 star level. We also had french onion soup and desserts, which were both excellent and very tasty. The place was quiet and the staff all wore masks. Some patrons wore masks while not eating or walking through but others did not. Our party of 2 already had Covid 19, otherwise, I highly doubt that we would be dining out. Although Delmonico's did a great job of trying to distance people, when the general populace doesn't take matters seriously, it is difficult to feel safe from viral transmission. It is also worth noting that Delmonico's offers take out service, which is probably the safest option for those without immunity.
All that being said, they provided us an excellent meal in a good atmosphere, that we will return to.
