About Della Terra
A visit to Della Terra is like walking into a familiar Tuscan trattoria--comfortable, friendly, yet oh so elegant. You are immediately enveloped by the warm lighting and the inviting smells emanating from the Italian wood burning oven and the secret recipe pizza cooking inside of it. We greet you at the door with obvious pleasure, soft music plays in the background and our experienced waiters attend to your every need. You are home. The decor is a unique blend of New York sophistication and California casual: simple, cozy, luxurious. You"re surrounded by sumptuous dark wood, rich red brick, and wonderful wrought iron accents under a magnificent vaulted ceiling. If you'd prefer to sit among the flowers and climbing plants in the open air, the patio spills out into the Los Angeles afternoon or evening to provide the refreshing garden experience of a country villa. The perfect canvas for that perfect meal...

Della Terra Ratings and Reviews
Love Della Terra... It has Great food and Service. Wonderful ambience, they show old movies on the screen and wall outside. Love that you can carry on a conversation with your guests and hear them!! They are just a great place with good energy!!
Monday nights all pastas are on for a great low price. Tuesday’s they have a salad/pasta/dessert deal that is worth every penny... I would tell you about the rest of the week but currently I’m stuck there Monday’s and Tuesdays cause it’s amazing!! In new year I will review again and let you know about the rest of the weekly specials. 😀
If that’s too long to wait... you go... and tell me then we can compare notes!!😂
The service was not good. I explained a food sensitivity to the server in great detail but while he seemed to understand he pretty much ignored it. Even when I brought it up again a second time. Also when we asked about the menu he seemed unenthusiastic about making recommendations. We selected this restaurant based on location and the unlimited mimosas seemed like a good value. I would unlikely return.
Food was delicious, service sucked. Waiter took order but never brought appetizer we ordered nor did we ever see him again until the bill was brought. My order was incorrect. I asked for little garlic and when order arrived it was filled with garlic. The entire experience was not what I would have expected but the food was delicious. The manager did send us home with a generous slice of triamisu for the inconvenience.
THIS IS A WONDERFUL RESTAURANT AND THE FOOD IS VERY CONSISTENT. MANY OF THEIR PASTAS ARE MADE IN HOUSE. ON TUESDAY NIGHTS THEY DO A 3 COURSE MEAL FOR $15. THATS HOWWE FIRST FOUND THIS RESTAURANT. THE MEAL IS FULL AMOUNTS AND THE MENU CHANGES EVERY WEEK. IT HAS BECOME OUR NEIGHBORHOOD RESTAURANT.
Della Terra is a wonderful restaurant. The service is always great and the food is amazing. I come here to meet with clients for business and they all enjoy the food. It's a great place to meet because it's a quiet place with privacy. I will continue to enjoy this restaurant for business and casual dining.
The food is consistently excellent. However the speed of the kitchen has been very slow on our last two visits. We've waited 35 to 40 minutes for our entrees to arrive (note we are not ordering appetizers or anything else which might necessitate a delayed entree). The waiting time felt excessively long -- nearly 2-3 times longer than other Italian restaurants we've frequented. Ours were not unusual entrees, they should be relatively quick to prepare.
Read about this place online and decided to give it a try. So good!! We will definitely be going back for more. We weren't that hungry so we just ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were all terrific. They also have all kinds of pastas and entrees that sounded great. Next time we go back we'll make sure we're starving so we can try all kinds of stuff.
I was pleasantly surprised by this little find. I was surprised it never came up on my yelp reviews as a first choice. Better than all of the fancy Beverly Hills spots. Genuine Italian/east coast type owners who served the tables themselves and paid attn to the details, not even knowing it was my birthday. I will be back here every single time I want Italian in La!
Della Terra is our favorite special occasion destination. The food is consistently extraordinary and artfully presented, and the creative menu makes it hard to decide. The service is extremely attentive and friendly, and you decide whether to eat outside, in their sunny indoor patio, or inside in their intimate dining room. Even their many desserts are to-die-for. The prices are surprisingly reasonable and we have always been able to find street parking nearby. We highly recommend this incredible Italian restaurant.
This last visit we had the octopus salad, fettuccine alfredo, and a chicken calzone. I've been many times before and they never disappoint. The food is always delicious and we love the bread and pesto sauce they offer at the beginning. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Anytime our friends and family come to town, this is a usual requested stop.
