Wonderful experience and excellent authentic Italian food. All at a reasonable price, which makes this place the best Italian restaurant in the Bay Area.

From start to finish, this restaurant is perfection. Nothing we ordered missed the mark and the wait staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Our waiter was knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about their food! To end the perfect night, along with our two desserts and coffee that we ordered, we were brought another dessert for my birthday and limoncello to celebrate with! This place is our new local favorite!

Lovely dinner for a rare date night out. Our waiter was charming and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. I loved that the menu is concise--they don't try to do everything, just a few solid southern Italian dishes. I had a delicious mushroom risotto and my partner went for veal marsala, and both were well done examples of standard dishes.

Wonderful people and great food.
Best pasta ever cooked to perfection, love the strozzaprete house made tube pasta in lamb sauce AMAZING. Service always top notch and wine selections, to pair meal superb and unique. Also had the best baby octopus stew (outside Italy) special of the night for appetizer. Thank you!!

Delizie never fails to deliver a lovely evening meal, or a great lunch.
This was a post-Valentine dinner, and Delizie was the perfect place to have it. Had a new appetizer, the Polpettini di Carciofi, delicious little balls of breaded artichoke and risotto nestled in a bit of marinara sauce. They were fabulous, and serve as a serious rival to my old fav, the cauliflower appetizer.
Both of us had a home-made tube pasta in a sauce with slow-cooked lamb bits. So flavorful and good.
We finished with espresso and the chocolate tartuffo dessert. Good food, wine, ambiance, and wonderful owner and staff.

The food in this visit was average. The calamari was unseasoned and bland. My pasta dish was average not outstanding (compared to the last time). Maybe we hit a off night or chef’s night off. The service was stil excellent.

We love Delize. The space is small, but it creates a real intimacy that is reinforced with the great service and the thoughtfully prepared and very fresh take on Italian cuisine. It truly feels like a family run establishment which is refreshing in San Carlos.

Had a lovely birthday dinner for my daughter on Friday night - our first visit to Delizie. We had the caprese salad as a starter, my daughter had the asparagus tortellini, my wife the spaghetti pomodoro and I had the Pollo Callabrese. All were delicious. Just as the other reviews suggest, the service is very good and very friendly. Francesco was especially welcoming. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Excellent food with outstanding service. Our waiter was very helpful in our food selection. He also greeted us at the door, as we had made a reservation using yelp, and he knew my name! It felt very welcoming!

Omg hard to say where to start.
Everything about this place is wonderful,
Food, service and atmosphere are the best in the area. My wife and I had the special ravioli which we both agreed was the best ravioli ever had; and the risotto porcini TERRIFIC.
The owner was very welcoming and the waiters are nice and they all speak in italian which and we love that. The wine list its for the most part italian and the wine selections are great. We’ll be back for sure and bring our whole family.

First timer in this place. Felt right from stepping in that I would not like it. Fairly small and densely packed with the door opening right into the guest room. So during a January evening expect to feel some cold drafty air passing by your table. with the dense packing no privacy and very noisy. Nothing delicious about the food. The obligatory bread with olive spread was not fresh and a very small serving. As a starter we had the antipasto della casa which was a few slices of salami, mortadella, 3 olives, pickled onions a a small wedge of pecorino. Funny when they serve everything at a count of 3 which makes it easy to share at a table of two. For main my girlfriend had the chicken and I went for the lamb chops. Small servings not particularly well presented and rather at the high end of prices. The chicken was over salted and my lamb chops were 3or 4 bites served with a small lump of mashed potatoes and 2 small pieces of broccoli. They have some ok wines on their lust and we tried the Amarone, but with the poor ambiente and mediocre food we called it an evening after the main and escaped back home.
The setup just feels wrong, the menu is overpriced. So even on a good evening don’t expect to get fair value. there are better choices in the area.

Fantastic! Friendly, wonderful service and the food was delicious. Quite the little gem of San Carlos. Would absolutely recommend with top marks.
