My wife and I loved the ambiance & great service. outstanding wines and bing fan of their Salmon ragout pasta and fettuccine in wild boar sauce, so fresh and tasty. try their hazelnut & chocolate cake which is a must. :))
Amazing food! Had to try the Cod Stew which reminded me my mother in law & it was cooked to perfection. My Fiancé had the lamb ragout house made strozzaprete pasta and it was perfectly done and sauce was exceptional. Can't wait to come back soon.
Exceptional service!! Thank you for making our anniversary super special. The quality of the food is very unique. Comfort food just like home prepared with care. I love their wine lists which it has lots of Italian options. I am so glad I found my new hot spot.
Greasy calamari. Sandy linguini Vongole. Would not go back. Disappointing and I’m not that fussy ...,
Consistently superb for several years. Focus on Calabrian cuisine with different takes on pasta and seafood. Save room for dessert!
A wonderfully authentic Italian restaurant in San Carlos. The food is amazing the atmosphere is great and the wine selection is fantastic. The owner Francesco makes you feel welcome and is very attentive. All of the menu items that we have tried are really tasty and the portions are perfect.
Can't say enough about Delizie, the food is so fresh porcini risotto and stew of cod are to die for. My fiancé
& I were so impressed. top notch comfort food & service. Great primitivo red wine and best hazelnut chocolate cake ever. Can't wait to go back.
Best Italian restaurant in the area! wonderful comfort food and nice service. My special of the day Bronzino sea bass was really fresh. High end wine served by the glass which is a plus in a small restaurant.
The experience as a whole was good but the food was very average tasting and I wasn't impressed by the meals I tried from our group.
Food was very spicy even for a Texan... Service was not to good. There were only two waiters and the while its a small restaurant, we waited multiple times for the waiter to take order, refill water, etc.
My colleagues enjoyed their meal but my chicken was too spicy to eat. Desert was only so-so having ordered Apple Cake which kind of resembled a super thin slice of Apple Pie.
This is our favorite restaurant. We think the food is the best in San Carlos and the staff / owner are incredibly warm and welcoming.
Everything was wonderful! Great wine, salad, pasta and dessert. Delize never disappoints! We always enjoy dining here!!
We have been going to Delizie since it first opened. The food is wonderful. The cauliflower appetizer is a must. The Torteloni and the salmon are great. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to all our friends and always bring the ones from out of town here. Everyone loves it.
Magnifico! What a wonderful experience. Special thanks to our extraordinary culinary tour guide, Francesco. From the appetizer to desert, everything was delicious. Francesco’s care was warm and welcoming and made us feel like special guests in his home. Grazie!
We have been to Delizie several times now in the past 6 months and it's funny because we came across it serendipitously. We actually wanted to try the French restaurant Cuisinett next door but it was too packed so we decided to try Delizie and we have never been let down. The friendliness and professionalism of the entire wait staff is 5+ stars and the restaurant has a certain charm. The veal, chicken, tagliatalle and fusili are our favorites so far. Highly recommend!
Excellent food and service! A definite San Carlos gem!
Great food, service and friendly staff
Delizie its so far the best italian restaurant in the area. The owner and his staff makes us feel very welcome as we belong to their family. The best Porcini risotto and the artichoke balls appetizer is to die for.
The food was very good Calabrian cuisine. The staff and service were very good.
Authentic southern Italian cuisine in an intimate setting. Food and service are excellent as is the ambiance.
Saturday evening meal was good. Great service. Wine List is strictly Italian.
We had starters (burrata and salad), risotto special and veal marsala and abrogato for dessert with a wonderful rose wine.
Veal sauce seemed a bit salty but food was very tasty. Tables get turned frequently and you should have reservations.
Great authentic Italian food in a small local restaurant. Very friendly staff and service. We had a nice experience and wold go there as first choice for local Italian food.
This a great authentic southern Italian restaurant. Service and food have always been great, and we are a fan of the restaurant. The gnocchi is not to be missed and the tartufo is amazing.
Outstanding food and service!
Hands down best Italian restaurant in the area. Home style cooking comfort food. Wild boar sauce over fertuccine it’s amazing. Their wine list is very unique and wine selection is very rare with lots of Italian reds by the glass.
The owner is very nice and treated us like we were part of his family.
Met good friends and family at Delize for casual dinner. All the entrees were of high quality and tasted great.
Quiet and competent Italian cuisine with attentive service. Very good for business lunches, though I understand evenings are apparently a different matter. Challenging parking scene, especially given the nearby construction in San Carlos at the moment (May 2018). Recommend going earlier than noon to secure parking spot. I had de-boned chicken thighs and requested no mashed potatoes but with double portion of broccoli. Everything was done exactly as I expected.
Delizie is our special event restaurant in San Carlos. Interesting menu, pleasant cozy atmosphere, and very attentive staff. Great choices for pasta, with entrees of fish, chicken, veal and lamb. Nice selection of wines including interesting local Italian wines you won't find everywhere. This time I had the farro tomato soup, delicious but surprisingly filling (I had not had it before). Entrees were the veal which was done perfectly. Desserts were delicious, a warm chocolate mousse, and panna cotta. We'll be back soon.
Lovely Italian restaurant in San Carlos, halfway between my residence and a friend's SFO hotel. Dishes were well-priced, extremely fresh, unpretentious. Service was attentive but never obtrusive. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend to new or returning diners.
We always enjoy our dinners at Delieze. The staff are warm and friendly. We always leave feeling like we are a part of the family. The menu offers an interesting array of pastas and main courses. This is not your average Italian restaurant.
Our favorite Italian restaurant in the Bay Area. Anything you get here is wonderful. The owner, Francesco and staff are super nice and welcoming.
Incredible food and wonderful hospitality and service. What a gem! A little bit of Italy.
We arrived early and they accommodated us. The artichoke appetizer was incredible. We will return.
The most Authentically Italian of all the Italian restaurants in the area. Very relaxing atmosphere
We were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff and our meals were all delicious. We came here for a birthday and they poured complimentary Prosecco.
My preferred place in the Peninsula! I love the authenticity of the recipes, the family owned approach, the great and warm welcoming.
We had a wonderful time at Delizie. The staff was perfectly attentive, made good recommendations, explained a few items we were curious about, and gave us privacy while making us feel welcome. The food was delicious as well, very flavorful and comforting without feeling heavy. We greatly enjoyed our time there.
This was our first visit here and we loved it. We will definitely be back soon and frequently. Our waiter, Francesco, was very nice and helpful. The calamari appetizer tasted fresh and was lightly breaded perfectly and I loved the balsamic vinaigrette dipping sauce that came with it. I ordered the penne pasta and my husband ordered the ravioli. Both were wonderful and cooked perfectly al dente. All of the wait staff were so accommodating and service was efficient and warm feeling.
Great lunch!! Food and service top notch.
Terrific comfort food homestyle, the wild mushroom risotto was to die for and the capouccino mousse is a must.
My wife and daughters and I ate dinner here in. Friday night. Service was slow, but that was OK as it gave us time to talk. I usually judge a restaurant in part by the bread. This was cold baguette sliced thin with pesto. No bueno, they need to bake there own bread. My meal was a tomatoe/lentil soup which was tasty but my veal masala (mushroom) was fabulous. Salads and risotto were good, mussels nd pasta dish was excellent. Loud atmosphere, but I like on a Friday night. Overall a good experience.
Went for my husband’s birthday with another couple. Very small but cozy. Service was very good. Food was good.
