Excellent, authentic Italian Food. Quiet. Attentive staff - My favorite neighborhood restaurant!
Neighborhood gem- good food, daily specials, good value and entertainment
Delizia 92 is a neighborhood gem, have been going there for a number of years. Food is great
ambiance is relaxed and it welcomes families. The front of the restaurant is a regular pizza
parlor and takeout, but the back is a cute little restaurant with tablecloths and waiter service.
They also do parties. As a head up, lately I needed to make reservations especially around the 6 pm time frame, I guess the gem has been discovered. Keep up the good work.
Delizia 92 is a charming authentic neighborhood spot. We have come to both the restaurant and pizza parlor for years and are always happy with the good food and great spirit and warm welcome.
short staff so service was slow.
Great music! Jazz duo - piano and bass. Entertaining but not too loud so you can't converse. Great traditional Italian food with wonderful attentive service.
A great neighborhood restaurant. Consistently good food and entertainment after 7:30.
Delightful and delicious. Low key and charming, a great local find.
Delicious food with a relaxed ambiance. Great neighborhood restaurant. The live jazz piano was a delightful addition.
Enjoyed dinner here very much. The entrance to the dining room is around the corner from the pizza part of the restaurant which we found a little confusing at first. Small dining room but very nice. Food was really good - all the typical Italian choices, but all were definitely better than the norm. They also have daily specials which we tried - again delicious! Service also very good!!
Great service, we were not rushed. excellent menu
they never remember to check you in on opentable. its not an accident btw. take a photo of your check. food is very good. just not feeling correct that you always have to make sure you are checked in, knowing you are never checked in, though they pretend to check youin.
We had a great experience. Food was delicious, service was great.
We are new frequent visitors to the Upper East side. Delizia came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint! It is now one of our favorite restaurants in NYC. Great food and ambiance.
Wonderful live jazz and delicious Italian food. Great service and good acoustics with a wide selection of food choices. Seemed like many families gathered there for an informal meal. Highly recommended.
We actually ate here twice while in New York. Great food! Lasagna was awesome. We had wonderful service each time. The piano player was a wonderful touch!
They do not have enough staff when the restaurant is crowded like last night. The service suffers from this.
Good Italian food, but not outstanding. However the "Bomba" combination chocolate & vanilla ice cream in a chocolate crust is a highly recommended dessert (even if a bit difficult to handle with a spoon since it is spherical).
The biggest surprise is the nightly quite good live jazz music, with no price premium on the food or any cover charge. Worth a visit, especially for a special occasion, or a date. When the musicians are playing, it is difficult to hold a conversation, because the space is quite small. Reservations are therefore highly recommended.
Love this place-food, service, atmosphere great and live music every night.
Love this place! The food is delicious. Staff is terrific and live music every night.
The food is great but the service is poor.
Great experience. Food was high quality and reasonably priced.
Service was fantastic and live music was a nice touch
Food is great. Staff is attentive and down to earth. All topped off by two great musicians that play the classics. Cant say enough about this place.
Either they were understaffed or the wait staff did not care about service. Outside of putting down plates they were elsewhere or otherwise unavailable. I have been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years, if it were my first time I would never go back.
Service was absolutely deplorable. Booking on open table I still waited 20 minutes for a table. Another 20 minutes to take my order. 40 minutes to 30 minutes just to get a meal. I've got better service in Applebee's.
Wonderful food, friendly, efficient service, and a pianist and bassist playing beautiful live music, to boot. Just lovely!
A great neighborhood restaurant, that is kid-friendly.
Wonderful neighborhood place - pizza shop in front and restaurant in back. Unpretentious and delicious.
Ate dinner in the more formal back room. Waiter could have been more professional. Was abrupt bordering on rude.
We love this restaurant. The service is kind. The food is yummy. The menu is great. The prices are fair. The location of the dining room has had very little to look out at, had to put up with one construction project after the other in the area, but still provides a classy, cozy feel.
Loved this restaurant and especially enjoyed the cool jazz band which was a pleasant surprise. The ceasar salad was not good but the pasta and cause and the specials were excellent. Thumbs up!
pizza in front dining in back
great value good food
Surprising little place! Good value for good food and live music on a Wednesday nite!
Very nice friendly place with good food and service
The food and service were great. The manicotti had the right amount of cheese and sauce. It is easy to get to from the Q and. A short walk to the 92Y.
This is a neighborhood favorite and they've earned the title. The service is friendly and excellent, the food is beautifully prepared and is delicious. We loved everything! The salads are fresh and crisp, the specials are not just attractive and wonderful tasting, they're usually well-priced too. You should go!
Good food. A little slow on the service. It's a pizza parlor with a "fine dining" area in the back. Better for takeout or delivery.
If you are looking for a family-friendly reasonably priced place on the UES, Delizia hits the spot. This place is a throwback in the nicest sense of the word. I loved seeing all the large tables of three or four generations dining together on large plates of (slightly overcooked) pasta and chicken parm. And it was a relief to see $7 appetizers and $16 entrees that weren't tiny enough to pick up with a tweezer. The service is very much of the "who gets the shrimp" variety, but it's prompt and obliging. I had a nice time and my wallet did too.
Great neighborhood restaurant with excellent food. A hidden gem.
