Live piano daily from 7 to 10pm, acoustic bass on fridays and saturdays.
I love the jazz and the chicken and seafood dishes are delicious. We have been here twice this month and will return again.
I loved listening to the jazz duo. My clams were so delicious that I wish there were more than just six of them. The seafood salad was fresh and plentiful. Everyone enjoyed their main dishes. I left my phone on the table. When I called later in the evening, I was told it was put aside for me. When I returned the next day, my credit cards, money and phone were all in the case. What honest people work at Delizia. We are going back this week to enjoy another fine meal.
Great food, service, value. Live piano player is a nice touch. Highly recommended for intimate dining experience.
One customer requested “Happy Birthday to You” for two of her friends and the pianist played it. So nice to see everyone at the restaurant celebrated them together. Food, service, and live music are always excellent! We’ll return!
cozy intimate setting with a piano duo just the reight touch. Excellent food and moderate prices; seervice wa prompt but we did not feel rushed at all. we go back whenever we are in town.
Excellent service and food superb value. Dessert very good.
Artichoke stuffed with goat cheese was so delicious! Excellent service and live music. We had a good time.
Jazz duet amazing!
A day before my daughter returned her college. We had Asti and the dishes are always great taste and perfect amount. Wonderful live piano music. We like jazz and bossanova! They served us nice surprise delicious sweets!!Thank you so much!
This restaurant (behind the pizza parlor) is a hidden gem on the upper east side. The food is excellent and fairly priced. It's a small, cozy room and the tables are placed so that one has some privacy. The wait staff work very hard to ensure an enjoyable dinner. I'm not sure of the schedule but they have live jazz which is a nice touch.
The food was great and served exactly as ordered.
Delicious food, very good service and a charming environment. While the food was delicious and I would go back, it was not top of NYC gourmet Italian food. My guests really enjoyed the appetizers and my vegetarian guest felt well satisfied.
Very nice neighborhoody restaurant. Live music added to enjoyment.
Excellent neighborhood restaurant. Excellent service.
Great neighborhood restaurant. The music at night is a great touch.
The back room was very nice
Good food but the service is totally inadequate. Not enough people to cover the restaurant.
Review is for the restaurant in the back, it is a neighborhood place, pizza parlor in the front, restaurant in the back. Food outstanding, service can be a little slow, but like the trattoria type ambiance. Now
that this gem has been discovered, wise to make reservations
Food is always delicious. Nice service, atmosphere and live music. Always an enjoyable experience.
Love the piano player that comes in at 7pm. Nice to have a conversation with my family, vs. have them just watch a TV (there's NO TVs there). Love the pasta, so I tried the chicken special (Pollo Picante) and it was SO good. If you walk in through 2nd ave, just remember to go all the way to the back room!
Live music was also very nice!
This is a pizza place with a back dining room. The dining room is very pleasant and they have a piano player on Friday nights which was lovely. We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday and neither of us had been to this restaurant in many years although we both live in the neighborhood. While looking at the menu, my friend asked if they could bring us some bread and butter. We were told we could not get that until after we had placed our orders.... "that is their rule." The menu had the usual fare although not as many choices as other Italian restaurants in the area. The prices were also a bit higher than most places and if you wanted a vegetable instead of pasta on some of the orders, that would be an additional price. Changing from one sauce to another was also an additional price. When we got our main courses, both of us were happy as our choices were good. After dinner, we both ordered desert and coffee. When I asked if I could get some more coffee in my cup, I was told they don't do that. I would have to place an order for another cup of coffee. I guess our impression was that they were being chintzy. Perhaps they want us in and out asap to free another table... or perhaps they just don't have a good customer service policy and don't care if people decide to come back or not. There are many restaurants in the area with good to excellent food. One would also expect a friendlier attitude towards potential repeat customers. I noticed they did not post a confirmation of our having been there so I called several times without any results. It took them 3 more days to do that. My friend says she will definitely never go back there. I was just frustrated by their "rules" and the way they handled everything.
Excellent, authentic Italian Food. Quiet. Attentive staff - My favorite neighborhood restaurant!
Neighborhood gem- good food, daily specials, good value and entertainment
Delizia 92 is a neighborhood gem, have been going there for a number of years. Food is great
ambiance is relaxed and it welcomes families. The front of the restaurant is a regular pizza
parlor and takeout, but the back is a cute little restaurant with tablecloths and waiter service.
They also do parties. As a head up, lately I needed to make reservations especially around the 6 pm time frame, I guess the gem has been discovered. Keep up the good work.
Delizia 92 is a charming authentic neighborhood spot. We have come to both the restaurant and pizza parlor for years and are always happy with the good food and great spirit and warm welcome.
short staff so service was slow.
Great music! Jazz duo - piano and bass. Entertaining but not too loud so you can't converse. Great traditional Italian food with wonderful attentive service.
A great neighborhood restaurant. Consistently good food and entertainment after 7:30.
Delightful and delicious. Low key and charming, a great local find.
Delicious food with a relaxed ambiance. Great neighborhood restaurant. The live jazz piano was a delightful addition.
Enjoyed dinner here very much. The entrance to the dining room is around the corner from the pizza part of the restaurant which we found a little confusing at first. Small dining room but very nice. Food was really good - all the typical Italian choices, but all were definitely better than the norm. They also have daily specials which we tried - again delicious! Service also very good!!
Great service, we were not rushed. excellent menu
they never remember to check you in on opentable. its not an accident btw. take a photo of your check. food is very good. just not feeling correct that you always have to make sure you are checked in, knowing you are never checked in, though they pretend to check youin.
We had a great experience. Food was delicious, service was great.
We are new frequent visitors to the Upper East side. Delizia came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint! It is now one of our favorite restaurants in NYC. Great food and ambiance.
Wonderful live jazz and delicious Italian food. Great service and good acoustics with a wide selection of food choices. Seemed like many families gathered there for an informal meal. Highly recommended.
We actually ate here twice while in New York. Great food! Lasagna was awesome. We had wonderful service each time. The piano player was a wonderful touch!
They do not have enough staff when the restaurant is crowded like last night. The service suffers from this.
