Great food. Service fantastic
Loud and crowded. While the meal was flavorful, it was not as expected. Ordered the beet salad with goat cheese and salmon. Received a gigantic pile of lettuce, 6 small dice size pieces of beets and less than an ounce of goat cheese.
All was great. Bass is wonderful waiter.
It took forever for the food to arrive, but at least it was worth the wait!
Great service and really good and well prepared. Mostly known for their pizza but went just for a review heard about their steak and was not unimpressed. Gem in shopping center.
We were surprised that the restaurant didn’t have holiday decorations during Christmas.
This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant. The first experience was fantastic even though it was on a very busy night.
My 2nd visit was with my wife and daughter after a flight. The server did not like kids, that was very obvious. When he brought our drinks he spilled the water only thankfully all over the table and broke one of the glasses into a hundred pieces. It scared my 8 year old to the point that she didn’t want to stay. We did because we had already ordered.
The service was also extremely slow and we were one of only 4 occupied tables in the restaurant.
After the glass breaking incident, we never had a visit by the manager and the server barely acknowledged us while we were there. Regardless of how good the food was we will not be going back here. Service is a high priority to me therefore I will not send my money at a restaurant that does not provide the appropriate level of service.
Great appetizers, service was responsive and timely. Would go back!
Went to Delia's for dinner prior to a movie. The hostess and server were both friendly, responsive and accommodating.
We ate the braised short rib gnocchi pasta dish, which was pretty good, although served a little too hot, and the lamb chops, which, although ordered as medium, came over with almost no pink. With the lamb chops, the broccolini was a bit cold.
We were there pretty late in the day, so one of the staff was going around the restaurant sweeping the floor, which is extremely off-putting around open food. They could have at least waited until the shift was over or the restaurant was completely empty.
What seemed like a decent menu and a nice venue was otherwise ruined by such a poor experience.
Bass is great waiter. Thanks. Not sure if the tomato sauce in the PEI mussels works.. Too heavy. Lose taste of the mussels. Otherwise. Great meal. Great service. Great food
Special was delicious— and reasonable price.
We are long time patrons since they first opened up alongside Hoffman movie theatre. We go for their amazing wings, pizza and ughhh... those delicious lamb chops are my fave!
I would recommend Delia's only because I did not sample the main items on their menu. Everything that came out of the kitchen LOOKED amazing. I believe the pizza, lamb, or gyros would be what I would try.
We chose to dine here again based on our initial experience 2 years ago. We were not disappointed. The appetizer Greek Avgolemono Chicken soup was a hit again. Just the perfect hint of lemon without being too lemony. Our party of 8 gave thumbs up to Chicken Souvlaki, Gyro, Salmon Tricolore, Quattro Pizza, Prosciutto e Vodka and two other pasta dishes. Service was exceptional and made up for the snafu of one of the entrees being prepared after all other entrees were delivered. The manager not only took the entree off the overall bill but also comped our 2 orders of chocolate lava cake. This is the best chocolate lava cake that the chocoholics in our party of 8 have had. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I've dined at Delia's probably a dozen times. I go because the restaurant is close by my home and the food is exactly what I want. The ambiance took a small hit on my scoring due to the crowd noise. That's always the same...folks are having a good time.
I want to start out by saying that my previous experiences here were pretty good. But this tile not so much we were sat at a dirty table with food items on the seat and floor. The service was spotty considering it wasn’t busy. And lastly the food just wasn’t how it used to be it was either over cooked or the greens wilty. I think we’ll give this restaurant a long long long break before returning for dinner and a movie.
Food was terrific. Excellent value. Good service. Will come back.
Girls night after the movie. Perfect spot. Service is always great ascis the food
Great food, great service
Give yourself plenty of time if you have a reservation because parking is a nightmare. The food was good but our waiter seemed annoyed with waiting on us. The place was nearly empty and he put us right at the front door. The atmosphere is much better at the other Delia’s but this is ok for lunch right off 95.
Neighborhood winner, consistently great and the pizza crust is perfect!
My husband and I used to live right up the block from Delia's and it was always one of our go-to spots. We moved to Manassas 3 years ago but any time we're back in the area we go back to Delia's for a meal. As always the food was delicious and our server was top-notch; she refilled drinks before we had to ask, had the kitchen quickly recook a meal that had an ingredient to which my mother was allergic (that was not indicated in the item description on the menu), and
had my 15 month old absolutely entertained. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in the area.
So the food was okay but it's conveniently located so it's a good meal in the area it is located in. Service was good.
Consistently good food and drinks
at a fair price.
Delicious Greek chicken rice lemon soup. Music and general noise was loud for a quiet lunch get-together. Otherwise it was a wonderful lunch.
My family LOVES the pizza knuckles at Delia's and the overall menu. We go there often!
Service was good; however, I ordered the same dish that I always eat and it wasn’t very good.
Good food. Interesting menu. Reasonable prices.
Delia’s is our go-to restaurant while visiting in Alexandria, great place for family and friends to eat and visit. They have a nice menu with something for everyone. Great Greek food, pizza, ziti is a favorite, salads are large. Good service.
Popular & crowded place on Fri evening. Musaka & lamb Kampama were tasty. Pizza was disappointingly ordinary.
Fantastic food makes up for the somewhat lacking service.
Friendly and appealing restaurant for pre/post movie pizza and more. Full menu, but their fabulous bread/crust makes for a wonderful pizza outing. Pastas and salads are also very good.
Very good food and very nice attentive waiter to us five women !!!
We enjoyed our chicken souvlaki ... and the hummus was delicious. We topped it off with baklava, which was okay, and the lemon torte thing, which was both refreshing while being a little overly sweet. Overall a great evening, but it was a little pricey for the chain feel of the setting.
One of my favorite places to dine. Food is always good and service is always on point.
Amazing food, try the Pizza knuckles, wow!
Lamb shank was perfectly done (med rare). The dips were very good (eggplant, tzadziki, spicy feta). overall, very good food. The atmosphere is not super impressive. Casual, nothing special. The food is actually better than the setting would suggest.
I liked the food and I felt it was a good value. This is the second or third time I have dined at this restaurant and I would come back again. I think it's a great place for a casual dinner for guests and or friends who like classic Italian food.
I've dined here several years and the service, food is consist. Great value for the quality and portions.
I went this past Friday for my birthday. I'd been to Delia's a couple of times in the past and have always been satisfied with the food and the service. This time was no different. We had a pretty large group (8 people) and everyone enjoyed themselves and the food. Our waiter was very accommodating and attentive. I never felt like he was away from the table too long, which was great.
I had the gyritos to start. They were like taquitos, but with gyro meat. They were served over a bed of lettuce (which was not necessary, but whatevs) with tzatziki sauce to dip. It was pretty good, and I would order them again. A couple of people ordered the calamari, and they said it was cooked perfectly (not chewy, and just crispy enough). I love lamb chops, and Delia's take on the dish did not disappoint. It came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Since it was my birthday, our waiter brought out a slice of tiramisu (I didn't order it) with a birthday candle in it, which was a nice touch. I'm not usually a fan of tiramisu, but Delia's version was very light. It was the perfect ending to dinner.
The only thing I think some of my friends would have enjoyed more is if the mixed drinks were a little stronger. A couple of them ended up asking for extra shots to either add to existing drinks or to make their own mixed drinks.
