Great Italian food, short rib agnolotti are to die for!

I had checked some restaurants for pasta in the Hollywood area, the ratings for this one were not bad so I decided to go meet and old teacher there for diner, someone I respect. What a mistake! It was hard to hear each other the music was so loud (and bad 80's and 90's music) I felt like I was at a bad sports bar from 20 years ago, even the waiter was bother by the loud music, we could not hear him or he us, wile ordering food (thank god that he was nice) . The wine wasn't bad, but the pasta was just god awful! I was happy that they had gluten free pasta but I don't know how anyone can go so wrong with a bolognese! The sauce tasted like canned dog or cat food. Just HORRIBLE. And terribly expensive, but I guess any price would be expensive for that food. We don't do fast food, but we would had been better of going to a fast food place...

I love this place!!! I just moved to the area and it’s my favorite go to place.

Very casual, laidback atmosphere but also very sexy, intimate restaurant.

The food is so YUMMY!!! And it’s affordable.

The place can get busy so definitely have to make a reservation sometimes.

Noise level varies...sometimes it’s not busy so easy to talk other times harder to talk but still love it.

The staff is always friendly.

The vodka sauce pasta was yummy! As was the mushroom truffle pizza!

Two words...Amazing New York Style Pizza! Been there a few times and it never disappoints.

Penne a la vodka delicious. Pork ragout phenomenal. Accommodated request graciously to find something low carb/high protein for one of our diners. Service was a bit slow, but overall experience was great.

The place was super cute, very nice waiter and the bread was seriously sooooo good!!! And i really recommend the bruschetta as well! :)

Very cool little place for pizza and their beer selection is great. But it more then a pizza place there other Italian food is wonderful.

When we arrived there was a large children's birthday party that was extremely loud. I'm not against kids, but there were at lease 6 kids under 10 and they were noisy. I understand that everyone has a right to dine out, but i also like to be able to talk to my dinner partner with out having to yell over screaming children. Then we were seated by the door, where there was a draft (when there were other open tables...) and then we were never actually assigned a waiter. the hostess or bar tender woman with an accent came over and took our order. our water glasses ran empty and we had to flag down people to get refills because there was no one really checking on us. Delancey is one of my favorite restaurants and i had brought a friend from out of town there for dinner because i love it so much. Needless to say I feel like i didn't leave a great impression. What has happened to my favorite place? I feel like even the pizza wasn't as good as it usually is.

The service was terrible, hardly saw the waiter but the bus boys hustled and the food was great.

Delancey is my go-to Italian spot in Hollywood. It's easy to get a table, reasonably priced, and the food is fantastic.

Excellent. The wild boar gnochi was incredible. Good service both at the bar and when dining. Highly recommend.

So good. Just grabbing a casual dinner with my buddy. Rolled over here cause I’ve drive. By it a bunch of times. Had the salad, soup, calamari, pizza and clams. So good. The wine is affordable and delicious. Can’t wait to come again!

Expect service to be slow and expect servers to ignore you when you call out to them as they pass right by you. Other than that, food is great!

Amazing food! This was my first time here and definitely will not be my last. The meatballs were perfection - the pizza was delicious and big enough to share. Loved the beer's on tap and the cocktails were delicious. A great, non-pretentious spot in hollywood for some great new york-esque food and decor. Highly recommended.

They were down a host so the servers were understaffed

Fabulous spaghetti Bolonese, music far too loud and so dark we could hardly read our menu, had to ask to be moved to a better table which they happily did for us.... especially since we had made an open table reservation and they were not that busy. Seems like the hostess needs some more training?

Great restaurant and to top it off I had the best pasta I ever ate.

The hostess made a family of 5 from Switzerland wait for a half hour while the restaurant was empty. Terrible hostess. Felt bad for the family.

Third time ive been here & really enjoyed every experience, pizza is to die for, drinks are great, staff are very attentive but also know when to leave you alone... was no rush to get us out, just a lovely relaxed atmosphere... would highly recommend it if you like your pizza served with a knife & fork !!

Delaney is a perfect mix of old school ambiance and quality food and service. Parking Can be a challenge so I recommend catching a ride. I asked for a booth and they reserved it for me. Thanks!

Delancey off of Sunset is like NY in LA... Boar Gnocchi, Gramercy Pizza, Beef Ricotta Arrabiata Meatballs and Little Neck Clams with Sausage Ragu, and Limoncello infused Cheese Cake...

With the abundance of restaurants in town (and delicious Italian restaurants) it's tough to justify spending your hard-earned cash on a place like this. Save your money.

I LOVE Delancy's! But unfortunately after last nights experience, I won't be coming back for a while. From food, drinks, service and environment. You kind of have to be "on one" to dine here.
