Always such a fun experience! We love the people/staff and the food is always great- thank you!
Delicious food, great drinks, nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
Great food, drinks, and amazing dessert!! Wonderful place to celebrate anything!
I believe I've tried just about everything on the menu - never been disappointed. Great Latin-fusion cuisine. Favorite four-star restaurant in town.
We went for a family birthday dinner. Menu accommodated everyone's tastes and service was great. The restaurant is tiered so it feels cozy and I think that might be what buffers the noise. This is a great find in Corvallis.
This was a third visit for us. We’ve had tapas on one one occasion, filet mignon on another, and Latin fare—really terrific Dungeness Crab enchiladas and Cochinita Pibil, a Yucatán-style barbecue pork with beans and guacamole—on this last visit. Superb. A wonderfully quiet, elegant setting with comfortable space between tables. Each time the service has rivaled the best that my wife and I have had anywhere, anytime. Oh, and common to all three visits—Key Lime Pie that is the real deal. We love this place.
Was it our good fortune? Or was Del Alma paying close attention to a very special birthday for which we received the best seat in the house! Wait staff were attentive and responsive, friendly and still very professional. The birthday dessert was perfect (i.e., not overdone!) and all elements of the evening were perfect. Thank you so much!
Pleasant meal in a nice atmosphere. We had mostly tapa, which were all very good. The tenderloin, scallops, beets, Brussels sprouts were tops. For dessert, the sorbet and panacotta were excellent. The cocktails were very good as well. All in all, a very pleasant evening and definitely several steps above other restaurants in town
Superb quality and variety of really unique and inspired cuisine. EVERY aspect of all of the dozen dishes I've enjoyed was simply excellent and so well flavor coordinated. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy!
They had all of our best interests in mind. Very courteous to our 8 year old and accommodated our every need.
This is the second time we have eaten at this great restaurant. We went with two friends and split 9 tapas plates and 3 desserts. Our waitress did a great job of serving us our food and drinks in this tri level establishment. The craft cocktails were amazing and the tapas sublime! We plan on making Del Alma one of our go to spots in Corvallis.
DelAlma is my go-to restaurant in Corvallis. Affordable (esp. the tapas), great ambiance, wonderful, beautiful food, excellent service. Always consistent and always enjoyable.
My husband and I had to go to Corvallis to pick up a shipment. We live about half an hour away, so decided to have dinner in town while we were there. We picked Del Alma because of good reviews, but we were frankly shocked at how amazing the food was. I would characterize their food as Pan-Latin. We decided to have Tapas so we could try a variety of items. We tried the Bacon Guacamole, Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Chorizo Verde, Scallops and Tamal, Albondigas, Yellowfin Tuna Cruda , Poblano Chile Relleno and a Ceviche that was the special that day. We also tried the Sangria, and my husband tried the Piña del Fuego with house-smoked pineapple juice. Everything was so full of flavor, although, because we had it last...the Poblano Chile Relleno suffered a bit by comparison. The sauces were remarkable. The smoky sofrito served with the Albondigas was eye-rollingly good. The tomatillo butter sauce with the Brussels Sprouts and Chorizo was very spicy but accentuated the other ingredients so well it was impossible to stop eating it! The plantain chips served with a couple of our tapas were light, delicate and perfectly salted - completely different than the thick, hard plantain chips that are normally found. We really wanted to try their delicious-sounding dessert list, but we just couldn't eat another bite. We are already planning our next visit. We will definitely make the 30 minute drive on a regular basis for the quality of food at Del Alma.
The ambiance and set up were beautiful and serene. Our server Christopher was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients and gave excellent recommendations. We will definitely visit again!
We loved the uniqueness of the menu
Our favorite in Corvallis. The food is always fresh and creative and the drinks are equally interesting and tasty. I love the soft colors and lighting in the dining room and the service is always friendly and attentive.
Second dinner. Absolutely worth every minute if our 40 min drive from Eugene.
It is truly at the top of my list.
Fabulous!
third visit to this gem. food has never been presented as nicely as at del alma. service is active, not intrusive. meal preparation superb.
We have been here several times, and it never disappoints. The service is thorough but not intrusive, the atmosphere was great, beautiful setting, and although Latin food is not my favorite, there are quite a few things that I love on the menu. This time we had just tapas, and were very satisfied and full with 4 of them that we shared. The tenderloin, delicata squash, brussels sprouts, and albodingas were amazing. I wish there had been more tenderloin, like about a pound of it, but it was a tapas. The chard that came with it was spectacular!!!
Love love love this.
First visit to Del Alma. Everything was excellent. Our waitress completed our dining experience with her excellent recommendations and service. Glad to have a new restaurant to look forward to when I visit Corvallis.
Went for Valentine’s Day dinner and had a fabulous time! Ordered 6 tapas between us plus cocktails/beer and a sweet in the end. Didn’t break the bank and you couldn’t choose the best dish among them.
Food was beautifully presented. Service was outstanding! Very attentive and professional waiter!!! We come every year for our foodie daughter's birthday. Love it each and every time!
McKenzie was our waitress. She was perfect, and took great care us! Excellent tapas and the Cuban Chicken was very nice.
I have always loved the setting of the restaurant even before it was Del Alma. I would request a table farther back in the restaurant for a quieter meal. We had the bar noise which really wasn't that bad. Took my son for his 50th birthday. The cocktails were great as well as the food. Waitress was a little slow getting to us but really no complaint about service.
A little on the noisy side. A lot of hard surfaces that bounce any sound. The meal, wine and service were excellent! I will be a regular when in town on business or pleasure.
Cocktail s were wonderful. Tacos of the night was bbq pork. Pork was dry.
Nice table, excellent service. Eclectic menu. A little pricey. I am not sure I’d eat here again.
Had a party of 15, for a birthday. Food was as good as always, the service was excellent. Hector the manager was very helpful in the planning and prep.
Phenomenal dining experience!
We dine here often- food is always on point. Service varies according to where you are seated, as does the noise level. High levels have bad service and are incredibly noisy- request seating on main level.
The general dinner was fine. We just feel that the lighting is very dark especially if one needs glasses to read the menu. Perhaps you could add more candles or lights on the table.
Was looking for a nice place in Corvallis for my son's 21st birthday. We ended up finding our current favorite restaurant.
This was our fourth visit to del Alma for dinner. The food was very good on the first three visits, but this last visit was somewhat disappointing. The restaurant has great ambiance and a nice location by the river. The main dish featured a large portion of pork, but It was tough and had little flavor. For the money one should expect better quality. The rock fish soup was excellent and their desserts are always superb. The service has also been very good on each occasion and we will probably visit them again.
Excellent food and service with an interesting menu. Truly a gastronomic experience for a small town.
We love this place. It has the convenience of being close to OSU, just in case you're going to an event there, but I'd go to Covallis just to eat at Del Alma. The delicata squash was magnificent, as were the beets. The chili relleno was unusual and excellent. We had the bunelos for dessert, and it was one of the most unusual, creative, and outstanding desserts we've had in recent memory.
Good food. Had to go to the bookstore though to buy Spanish-English translator though to read menu....
The chef did a fantastic job on our meal and service was wonderful! We will definitely be back!
Love the tapas. Drinks food and service is always top notch
One of the best dining experiences in years. Everything was perfect. We had the three-course special and each course was simply wonderful. The service was very friendly and competent and professional.
A totally excellent experience in every way.
Had our 20th anniversary dinner here and it was amazing! It's one of our favorite spots.
