For over twenty five years, Dee's restaurant has been serving up satisfying meals in Forest Hills, New York. Hometown chef Dee Arabian took all the knowledge he learned growing up in his family's restaurant and at culinary school and created a place where good food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere are top priority.
Authentic Brick Oven Pizza is a fan favorite at Dee's. Homemade dough, sauce made from real plum tomatoes, Brooklyn mozzarella and fresh toppings of your choosing create an amazing pizza in just four minutes. If pizza is not what you're craving, the menu also includes a variety of sandwiches, appetizers and dinners from the grill.

Dee's Ratings and Reviews
Dee's wood burning pizza oven is one of the finest in Forest HIlls. And, the service and care are quick and very attentive. Along with the pizza, we enjoyed the grilled rosemary shrimp and an incredible pasta orreicche with sausage and broccoli rabe. Excellent.
My family and extended family have been coming to Dee's since it first opened its doors at the original location on Metropolitan Ave. Some make it their regular Friday evening dinner spot. The food has always been consistently good and they mix it up every once in a while with a variation on a dish. The brick-oven pizza selection is particularly diverse. Their event room is a great medium-sized space to hold a great dinner event and they are always very accommodating.
Dee's is always reliable for quality food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere. It's THE place in the neighborhood, but one where newcomers can and will feel welcome. Portions are generous and delicious; staff are friendly and responsive, and the environment is warm. Worth the trip every time.
We've been to Dee's many times for lunch in the past. This time, 7 of us came to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The restaurant was very busy and bustling. Our service was good for the most part. The pizza and Calamari were very good. My salad was eh ... the grilled chicken was tough. Overall, it was okay, though not fantastic.
I had visited Dee's many times in the past but hadn't been there in about two years. My girlfriend and I ordered the seared tuna to start and I ordered the chicken parm with linguini. We were both VERY happy with our meals and the pricing of the food was reasonable. However the pricing of the drinks was something we weren't happy with. We each had two drinks and that cost $52 or roughly the same as our meals cost. For that price, the drinks could've been stronger. We had Moscow Mules and couldn't taste any ginger either. Overall a good experience though and we will be back.
Food was good, well prepared and portions were generous. Although service was attentive and very friendly, I feel it was a bit rushed. The restaurant was pretty empty so rushing us for an order did not seem necessary. We had to tell the waitress several times we weren't ready........She was really lovely.......just a bit to anxious to get us started!
We live in Brooklyn and make the trip to this great location in forest hills. The food is delicious and always fresh. The lasagna is my favorite. We always have to have the focaccia with hummas as an apertizer along with the calzone. We are never disappointed with the food. The freshly baked cookies with milk is a delicious way to end the meal. So difficult to decide on which dessert to have we alway select at least 3 to share. Rice pudding is also a must have !
Great neighborhood....for families to visit and eat. There is a movie theatre and ice cream shop down the block.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area (maybe our actual favorite). They are great with adults and kids (have a great kids menu). Great apps, specials, drinks, love their pizza (our family likes even better than more famous places like Nick's). We go there quite regularly (scary, but true). Would recommend it to anyone, and my cousin and her husband (and child) came and love it too (and they are serious foodies from Brooklyn!).
Dee's was very accommodating when our party of 9 dwindled to 5 and we needed to move it to an earlier time. Extremely friendly staff. Took my daughter for her birthday with her friends and they all enjoyed themselves and the delicious pizza they ordered. Waitress, Karina, was very friendly and patient with 4 little girls. It's definitely a "neighborhood gem."
We took out daughter and 8 of her friends. We were welcomed and taken care of very well. Food is delicious! The only snafu was that one of the girls' meal was done wrong and by the time she received her meal everyone else was done.
Their kids menu is wonderful.
Definitely returning to try everything else on the menu!
I've been to Dee's on many occasions with a professional group. We've had working dinners there & the staff has always been gracious. This time my 4 year old grandson was visiting. All of the tables have butcher paper & he was given a box of crayons to amuse himself with while we had our dinner. His individual sized kid size pizza was brought out first, which was great. No hungry whining child. He was perfectly content for the entire visit, which made us all happy. The waitress was very attentive to him also. Great evening.
This was our second time at Dee's. Making the reservation was easy. We were seated immediately by the faux fireplace. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was fresh and prepared well. Would definitely recommend his restaurant to family and friends. We will definitely be back again!
