About Dee's

For over twenty years, Dee's restaurant has been serving up satisfying meals in Forest Hills, New York. Hometown chef Dee Arabian took all the knowledge he learned growing up in his family's restaurant and at culinary school and created a place where good food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere are top priority.

Authentic Brick Oven Pizza is a fan favorite at Dee's. Homemade dough, sauce made from real plum tomatoes, Brooklyn mozzarella and fresh toppings of your choosing create an amazing pizza in just four minutes. If pizza is not what you're craving, the menu also includes a variety of sandwiches, appetizers and dinners from the grill.

Food was good but the menu has been scaled back considerably. Lasagna and eggplant Parmesan unavailable on a Sunday night in an Italian restaurant. Somewhat disappointing. Great cappuccino, though.

The pastas are great! Especially the cream sauce. The pizzas are really good as well, but my favorite is the Spinach Ravioli.

Being a big foodie that I am, I always recommend this place to everybody! I love everything they serve here. Dees never disappoints! One of my favorite restaurants (and the best skirt steak ever!)

Dee's is always reliable for quality food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere. It's THE place in the neighborhood, but one where newcomers can and will feel welcome. Portions are generous and delicious; staff are friendly and responsive, and the environment is warm. Worth the trip every time.

Very good food for good prices. We ordered the Basil pizza, linguine with clams, mussels, and penne with shrimp. The space is nice and great for families.

Great, casual, neighborhood restaurant. Always a nice go-to with the family and kids. Lovely, modern, open interior space that is very comfortable to dine in.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. Two large groups nearby were celebrating so it was a bit noisy but otherwise I loved it.

Arrived at the appointment time and was seated immediately. Service was excellent from the original beverage order to the main dish. Food was excellent and service great. Wine prices have crept up laterly but still reasonable.

Dee's is one of my "go to" places. The food is always good as is the service. Anytime I bring friends to Dee's for the first time I am confident they will go back.

Dee's is a neighborhood staple with good food and value. The only disappointment was the Greek salad which was mostly lettuce with a tiny bit of tomato and feta. Get the Dee's salad instead. Route 66 pizza was delicious. Could be a little noisy when full.

Service and food never disappoint. Just a bit confusing on the bill... There was a bar tab tax and a regular tax.

We've been to Dee's many times for lunch in the past. This time, 7 of us came to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The restaurant was very busy and bustling. Our service was good for the most part. The pizza and Calamari were very good. My salad was eh ... the grilled chicken was tough. Overall, it was okay, though not fantastic.

I had visited Dee's many times in the past but hadn't been there in about two years. My girlfriend and I ordered the seared tuna to start and I ordered the chicken parm with linguini. We were both VERY happy with our meals and the pricing of the food was reasonable. However the pricing of the drinks was something we weren't happy with. We each had two drinks and that cost $52 or roughly the same as our meals cost. For that price, the drinks could've been stronger. We had Moscow Mules and couldn't taste any ginger either. Overall a good experience though and we will be back.

Food was good, well prepared and portions were generous. Although service was attentive and very friendly, I feel it was a bit rushed. The restaurant was pretty empty so rushing us for an order did not seem necessary. We had to tell the waitress several times we weren't ready........She was really lovely.......just a bit to anxious to get us started!

We live in Brooklyn and make the trip to this great location in forest hills. The food is delicious and always fresh. The lasagna is my favorite. We always have to have the focaccia with hummas as an apertizer along with the calzone. We are never disappointed with the food. The freshly baked cookies with milk is a delicious way to end the meal. So difficult to decide on which dessert to have we alway select at least 3 to share. Rice pudding is also a must have !
Great neighborhood....for families to visit and eat. There is a movie theatre and ice cream shop down the block.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area (maybe our actual favorite). They are great with adults and kids (have a great kids menu). Great apps, specials, drinks, love their pizza (our family likes even better than more famous places like Nick's). We go there quite regularly (scary, but true). Would recommend it to anyone, and my cousin and her husband (and child) came and love it too (and they are serious foodies from Brooklyn!).

Dee's was very accommodating when our party of 9 dwindled to 5 and we needed to move it to an earlier time. Extremely friendly staff. Took my daughter for her birthday with her friends and they all enjoyed themselves and the delicious pizza they ordered. Waitress, Karina, was very friendly and patient with 4 little girls. It's definitely a "neighborhood gem."

We took out daughter and 8 of her friends. We were welcomed and taken care of very well. Food is delicious! The only snafu was that one of the girls' meal was done wrong and by the time she received her meal everyone else was done.
Their kids menu is wonderful.
Definitely returning to try everything else on the menu!

Three pizzas shared between four people was more than enough food, which also included two people ordering salads to start. Non-alcoholic beverages include free refills. Meal was quiet, but in past the place can be noisy.

I've been to Dee's on many occasions with a professional group. We've had working dinners there & the staff has always been gracious. This time my 4 year old grandson was visiting. All of the tables have butcher paper & he was given a box of crayons to amuse himself with while we had our dinner. His individual sized kid size pizza was brought out first, which was great. No hungry whining child. He was perfectly content for the entire visit, which made us all happy. The waitress was very attentive to him also. Great evening.

This was our second time at Dee's. Making the reservation was easy. We were seated immediately by the faux fireplace. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was fresh and prepared well. Would definitely recommend his restaurant to family and friends. We will definitely be back again!

Before going to the Forest Hills stadium for a concert this place was the perfect place to get quality food that will satisfy me the whole rest of the night! I had an amazing artichoke and spinach spread for an appetizer and for an early dinner had an elegant grilled salmon! The Salmon was so juicy and one of the best I have ever had! Great restaurant with fair prices! Dont pass up the opportunity to eat at Dees!

The food was delicious as it is consistently. I would suggest some brunch-type choices as we were there on Sunday at 12:30 PM. Jose was a stellar server and since I suggested the restaurant as a mid point for a friend's get together, we were all happy with the food, service, etc!

Dee's is an excellent restaurant. I have eaten in Dee's on at least 6 occasions and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious and everyone who works there is super nice and does a great job. I last visited the restaurant on Mother's Day. Some of the earlier reviews were surprisingly critical but all I can say is that we had a great time and enjoyed an outstanding dinner.

Very very disappointed. We came to have celebrate a Mother's day and walked out very unhappy. The menu was pre-fixed and already seemed overpriced for a neighborhood restaurant. Selection was mediocre but the price for a two course was $44.95
Kids menu offered pizza the size of a regular slice but with a $13 price tag
The most exciting item on the menu was dessert, a berry cake. However, the restaurant ran out of it by the time we have finished our diner quality meal.
The last disappointment was a 22% gratuity that was automatically added to our bill. A 22%!!!! Really???
Two adults and two children had a pretty bad mother's day dinner for $252. A lot of money for a below average meal.
