Deerpark is an outstanding restaurant! Great service, food & spirits! Special!!! Highly recommended!
Went on a Sunday and paid $35 per person. The food was good but that’s a lot to pay if you don’t eat that much. Go hungry.
Our special occasion place! Fantastic staff! Relaxed atmosphere, always fun.
I miss the old courtyard but our waitress explained that it was changed out of necessity and there were plans to make it beautiful in the near future. The food was very good, a big improvement from our last visit a year ago. The beautiful drive to the restaurant is part of the overall ambience. A very good lunch value.
Disappointed with service - waitstaff very busy and we sat a long time before we could get water. We would have left but we had paid vouchers. Food selection was appealing. Disappointed they ran out of pecan pie - the only dessert my husband was looking forward to. We will not go back.
Another great meal at the Deerpark restaurant. Looking forward to the next quarterly menu for which we will be back again.
They put us in the middle, away from the others tables. This felt very awkward and appeared they just threw a table out there at the last minute. Food was not worth the price. Catfish was not good. We had to walk a long ways just to get to the buffet. Very disappointing.
Delicious as always. I love that the menu is available on-line for perusal, and that it changes every few weeks as that gives me new reasons to visit. It's worth the 1.5 hour drive I make, plus there's the benefit of the scenery of Biltmore. This restaurant is the primary reason I'm an annual passholder.
The menu on 8/5/18 was delicious. Brisket rubbed in pastrami spice - who thinks of that? - was delicious, as were the chicken and waffles (soooo nice and fluffy!) and the savory corn pudding. The desserts always please as well. You will NOT leave hungry.
Beef was very dry, not that flavorful. A previous experience was much better.
This was the best Deerpark has been the 4 times we've been. Fantastic lunch and the live music was nice! It's so much more expensive in the winter. Such a shame
Unable to attend since it requires $80 per person tickets to get on estate grounds. This is not made clear when making reservations.
Our waiter, Neal, was exceptional! He warmly welcomed us and was attentive during our dining experience.
He was enthusiastic and it was obvious he loves his job and is a people person. Deerpark is buffet style but that didn't stop Neal from checking on us regularly
Great food and beautiful restaurant!! Nice & quiet atmosphere!😊
Mediocre quality food. Some things were cold, meat was cold/tough. Desserts were the best part.
The food and staff were outstanding! Loved being able to pre-purchase the meal which included everything: food, tax and gratuity! Everyone wanted to make our visit be the beat it could be from the moment we walked in the door. Our waiter, Neil (I think was his name) made our meal so much more with his friendly smile and attitude. We would ask to be seared at one of his tables again! Thanks for such a wonderful lunch!
We are always pleased with the food and atmosphere at The Deerpark. One our most loved places to eat, relax and talk.
Loved the brunch. Great food, great selection. Casual atmosphere. Friendly wait staff.
Brunch is $39, lunch is $29. Difference in menu is basically omelettes and grits (not very good). I don't feel the Brunch was with the extra $10.00. Will go to lunch next time.
Brisket fatty and tough. Fried chicken excellent ! Service very fine.
Menus changes frequently and the food is always good...wide variety of vegetables, meats, soups, salads and tons of fabulous desserts. Make sure to save room for them!
The food was wonderful and having five family members to satisfy is not an easy task! We enjoyed our waiter, Neal, who kept us entertained.
We were late because of traffic and they were most gracious. Variety of food and tastefully prepared
Awesome Jamaician serving staff that compliments the healthy farm grown food!
Pleasant dining experience. Food was good but not great. For Biltmore there should have been a better selection of fresh vegetables. Brisket was a bit over-cooked and not tender. Chicken and waffles was good especially with the sorghum hot sauce and smoked honey sauce - but hey.... fried chicken and a mini waffle is a fairly simple dish. Our expectations were higher especially for the brunch price. Mentioned we were celebrating a birthday but the server and hostess overlooked the occasion. Biltmore dining prices are extremely high.
Deer Park never fails to please. A beautiful setting and wonderful buffet at a very reasonable price.
What a great Southern lunch and a great value for the price. One of the true values at Biltmore. The chilled berry soup is not to be missed!
Wonderful different place for lunch or brunch. One of the best upscale buffets I’ve ever been to and friendly helpful staff. Lunch in a glass house surrounded by beautiful seasonal plants and flowers. It doesn’t get any better than this!
Nice relaxing atmosphere. Good food and great selection.
Met friends for Sunday brunch. Food was plentiful although have decided buffets are not for us. We don't get our $$ worth. Sunday brunch at Deerpark is $40/pp so after tax and tip, it's close to $100.
We love coming here for brunch when we get the opportunity. Always have such a great selection for the price and just such a great staff. We always recommend this place when we know people are going to the Biltmore for the weekend.
The Sunday brunch was very good - but not worth the price - the lunch buffet is likely a better value for your money. The restaurant is lovely and service was very good.
Wow! This was a wonderful experience. Excellent food, many different choices to try, excellent price for a family, and all you can eat! I could not get a better deal for the price. I loved the Saturday buffet and I will make sure to be there on my next visit to try the Sunday brunch. Plus, live music while we ate.
The fact that Deerpark is located on the Biltmore Estate makes is wonderful just by that fact. The Saturday Southern Lunch buffet is tasty with treats to delight most palates. We have gone on several occasions and it's a great value.
Wonderful server who brought us chocolate for our 38th wedding anniversary! And took our picture for us! Thank you again! So considerate.
I can't say it enough, this is always so amazing. My foodie friends and I always enjoy our time at Deerpark located on Biltmore Estate
Very good going back soon
Wonderful for Birthday or out of town guests. Can't lose with the variety and spirit of the help.
This visit, my family went for lunch. It was very good, and a great value. A great option for everyday dining. However, I do prefer the Sunday Brunch.....especially for special occasions. Deerpark is a wonderful option, and our favorite restaurant on Biltmore property.
the food was very good. The prime rib or Whatever it was was absolutely delicious, and the most tender and flavorful I’ve ever had. I salivate just thinking about it! I also really enjoyed the savory corn pudding. The squash dish was also quite tasty. The salads were good, but they were having trouble keeping enough out for the crowd. The desserts were very good. I had the white chocolate Keylime pie although I couldn’t really taste of white chocolate, and the hazelnut all of cake with peach which was a little disappointing. It just didn’t seem to have a lot of flavor. The coconut cream Brulé seems very popular and I wish I had saved room for it ha ha.
My server Seemed to have too many tables. He promptly greeted me on arrival and walked me to the bloody Mary bar. They had run out of my vodka preference so he had to go to a store room to get more, which I guess happens, but I’m surprised they don’t keep at least one extra bottle on hand. He did refresh my water once, but I would’ve really liked more water and he never came back to check on me after the first time. I don’t think it was really his fault, he really seem to have too many people to take care of and was hustling. The couple adjacent to me had to flag him down for their check and I tried to get mine at the same time but he didn’t notice. I finally got it later. But that was a small inconvenience for what was overall a nice experience. The scrumptiousness and quality of the buffet is a very good value for the price.
I didn’t rate it very high for ambience because this is a building that must be used for a lot of private functions. When you enter you go through a really big room that is mostly vacant on the way to your table. The dining room is a U-shaped around and courtyard which while it had some plants out there we’re not as plentiful as I usually expect at the Biltmore property. I would definitely return.
