The buffet was not as good as in previous years. The turkey was not as flavorful as the brined turkey served in previous years. Not enough variety of choices of salads, soups, and veggies. I was particularly disappointed in the vegetable choices. Whoever heard of a Southern holiday table without sweet potatoes (the sweet potato dessert was not a good enough substitute)?! We have driven to Biltmore from North GA just to be able to eat at the holiday buffet at Deerpark, but I regret to tell you that I was disappointed this year. The good news is that I will continue to be a Passholder and come there two or three times a year, but I hope the holiday menu will not disappoint me next year!

I have been coming to the Deerpark Restaurant since the 1990s and have never been disappointed. The Sunday brunch buffet and carving bar always have excellent choices. The breakfast bar has made-to-order breakfasts. I especially like the Deerpark because it is a farm to table dining experience. Most of the dishes are created with items raised on the Biltmore Estate. Passholders get a discount, another added bonus to dining on the Estate.

The food choices were disappointing and it was not that very good but I must say their desserts were delicious. For the price $35 per person, it's not worth it.

The shrimp and grits and the salmon was quite good, but the desserts and salads were just ok. Our main objection was how cold our table was when there were quite a few tables not being used when we came for our reservation. We both had to wear our coats for the entire meal. We told our waitress, and all she said was she was sorry and never attempted to correct the seating. ( by the way, she needs a good bit of dental work done .) We have been pass holders for years and this was not what we usually experience.

There are Sunday buffets and then there is the Deer Park Sunday Buffet. It is like walking into the Southern Living magazine, all good, all fresh and very representative of southern cuisine.
Our server was a bit inattentive and forgetful, but other servers seemed to be right on top of their customers. All in all, very good food at a reasonable price.

One of my favorite places to dine in Asheville. I always go for the brunch which is really a great value for the amazing food that is offered. I cannot recommend highly enough!

We love this restaurant. The current menu is a little weaker than normal. And the service was average this time, since it was mobbed in the restaurant. Every place is allowed the exception to the normal good service. We are still loyal customers and will be back for more great food and service in the future.

The fall Saturday lunch menu is fabulous. A great selection of salads, breads, and soup to start things off. The prime rib and turkey were perfectly cooked and a great selection of sides. You must save room for dessert. I recommend the apple bread pudding, turtle cake, and red velvet cupcakes to finish the meal. The staff is on-point with never a wait to clear the table or refill beverages

Great location with just the right atmosphere for someone looking for anything from a casual to a semi formal meal setting. The seating is comfortable, not cramped, and with a flowing layout for accessing the buffet. The food is delicious and with a wide variety that suits everyone from a picky eater to a food connoisseur. I just wish the restaurant was open through the week when I'm often visiting instead of just on weekends or for special events.

I've dined at the Deer Park several times and it is always wonderful. The restaurant is large and pleasant. It's never very crowded, noise level is always reasonably low with music playing. It's an excellent place for a family meal after touring the house. The buffet is always a delicious seasonal menu. There is large selection for everyone and it is a really excellent value for the money.

It was a great experience. Our server could have been a little friendlier.
She seems a little distracted, but was efficient. My only complaint about the food is that the crepes were left in the warmer too long and they were hard on the bottom. Also the stuffing was one big glump, all stuck together. Hard to spoon out.

They change menu every season. The menu is very authentic and original for the most part so definitely not for those who only love chicken tenders or pizza! We are tired of same ole stuff at any chain restaurants so we love it.
The place is very nice but casual enough that you can go in with jeans. The servers sometimes not trained on the job very well yet, but always very friendly and we haven't had any bad experience.

The Sunday brunch is well worth the price. I eat here several times a year. The staff are excellent. They do change up the menu to go along with the seasons. And if you ever get the chance absolutely try the buffet during the Christmas season, it's very pricey but worth every penny.

The buffet was good. This time the meats were not overcooked or dry. The soup was a new taste to us and we enjoyed it very much. There were many varied side dishes that tasted good too. Of course the desserts very elegantly displayed and tasted delicious.
Our waiter was attentive. Only negative fact was that he did not ask or remind us to display our passholder cards for the discount on our bills. This was a minor issue that he corrected promptly.

We have eaten at Deerpark several times. This is the first time we experienced various food items not being replenished in a timely manner. We brought this to the attention of an employee and he replenished some of the dishes but not all of them. This included both the salad and main entre items.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years. In fact, it is my favorite place to eat of all the choices on the Biltmore estate. The buffet is a treat for your taste buds as it always offers so many wonderful and desirable eating options. The pork tenderloin I enjoyed on this visit was juicy and delicious. They desserts at the Deerpark Restaurant are always outstanding and I was not disappointed on this visit. The Cherry Cobbler with whipped cream was amazingly good. The bottom line, if you ever have a chance to eat at the Deerpark Restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Oh, and the ambiance is also terrific and second to none.

This was one of our best experiences there for brunch! We always enjoy the trip there and the experience, but this time the food was exceptionally good. There is always a vast array of choices, but for a very busy day (most people we've ever seen there) they kept everything continually stocked and fresh and it was a really enjoyable day! We're looking forward to our next visit already.
