Deerpark Restaurant-Biltmore Estate
Great selections and wonderful service
Food was dry and over cooked. I retuned my food. Manager came and apologized and offered coffee and desert at no charge. A good jester. This meal was not up to Biltmore standards. I have eaten at the Biltmore for the past 17 years and have not had a bad meal, in fact, the meals at the other restaurants were outstanding during our two day stay this year. Hopefully this was just a bad night.
What a beautiful setting for a holiday meal. Great food and perfect impeccable service. And the venue itself is just lovely. I only wish it were open more often but I am enjoying the new extended hours. We ate there and then strolled over to the Downton Abbey exhibit.
Always excellent food. Love the holiday menu. Great dessert selection. Unlike Thanksgiving desserts which where lacking and small amounts fed to a huge crowd.
I had to purchase an annual pass in order to have dinner with clients. Cost me $252.00 so me and my guest could even go to the restaurant for dinner. Food below average for the cost.
When made reservation it was not clear that is was buffet only for dinner. Food was adequate but not great. Service was excellent.
The food was exceptional as well as the service. It was a very enjoyable experience!!
We loved it and the food was amazing! We will definitely be back!
I thought the buffet was over-priced. Food was ok, but not exceptional.
Food was good, plenty of choices. Our waitress was ok. I asked if she had a recommendation for the best way to experience the buffet, she almost seemed annoyed that I asked. I heard the waitress at the next table offer tips and describe what was on the tables.
Words can't explain how in aww we were with the whole experience. Presentation was excellent! Our waitress was friendly & on time for drinks, etc. We were there for our 47th Anniversary & what a gift it was.
THANK YOU FOR SUCH A LOVELY EVENING & THE BEST FOOD. AMAZING!!

What a wonderful find on Biltmore property! We had no idea this restaurant existed until we were not able to get a reservation at Cedric’s. We took our daughter and 3 grandchildren and everyone loved it. Many choices on the buffet and everything was delicious.
The food and waiter service was very nice. The hostess was training a new person. The one training was not warm or friendly. It would have been great to have a smiling face and caring words to welcome us. Our reservations were at 11am and we didn't understand why we were not being seated or welcomed when it was after 11. This was a very classy place and we enjoyed it once we were past the front desk.
Outstanding food and the Christmas decorations were so beautiful! Made us feel very special and the service is on point.
I could pick this apart but it would just sounds snarky. Bottom line, all bad. Would never recommend.
We sat in the hallway of the restaurant and the server only came to our table to greet us after I waved him down to let him know we were there. He then brought sweet tea when I asked for unsweet tea. We were so excited to try the food and expected it to be delicious, especially due to the price of the buffet. Instead, the food was less than mediocre. What could have been good green beans were ruined by so much pepper we couldn't eat them. The cauliflower salad could have been delicious, however it was ruined by extreme amounts of fennel. The turkey was good, but you could only eat the inside of your slice of meat because the outside was crusted with so much rosemary it was inedible. The rolls and bread slices were extremely dry. Overall, we were both extremely disappointed. We were looking forward to an amazing meal and were left wishing we would not have eaten there. The coffee was the best part of the meal.
To be fair, we are at 2:00. It was the end of the brunch period. When we checked in it didn’t seem that they cared that I had a reservation (no big deal since it was not crowded at all). The food was good but several dishes were nearly empty and not quite fresh/ hot. It was obvious that brunch was shutting down. Considering we paid the full price for the brunch I can’t say we got the full experience. As a passholder who enjoys dining while visiting I can say that we will probably not be going back to Deerpark. It was absolutely not worth the price for the meal we had today.
Want to make this seasonal with the family! Cant wait for Spring!!!
We enjoyed it very much, only thing wrong is that you must have an entrance ticket to the Estate to dine here. The first time we tried was on the day after our visit to the house on a Saturday, it was suggested to us by one of the shuttle drivers to try the brunch, so we drove back the next day and were turned away because we were not willing to spend another $65.00 per person just to eat there.
Great meal! Many choices on the buffet. Worth it!
Brunch at Deerpark is something our family plans into every visit at Biltmore. It's a beautiful location and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. The price point is more than reasonable for the quality and variety of food they offer. This past Sunday for brunch, I had a veggie omelet alongside a perfectly medium rare slice of prime rib with a Tito's Bloody Mary!! You just can't do better. If you are visiting Biltmore Estate, make your reservations well in advance. Deerpark is always booked out when we are there.
The food was poor quality for what was experienced from other dining options on the estate. It reminded me of a catered office Christmas party. Would not return.
Wonderful atmosphere, a truly remarkable experience!
The Turkey had incredible flavor. Enjoyed the pimento cheese spread from the salad bar. Prime rib and mash potatoes were delicious. I wish there were better dessert options.
Our server was excellent, and the food is always pretty good. It was very busy this time & we had a table near the bathrooms & serving station- so not ideal!
We’ve been several times but this past week was exceptional the chef and the staff are the best they’ve ever been at the Deer Park restaurant.
My wife and I love the Dear Park Restaurant, it’s our go to when visiting the Biltmore Estate.
Excellent in every way!! Delicious food, beautiful decor, excellent service!
Lovely dining experience!!
Beautiful ambience and wonderful food. Also, our waitress was very good.
My wife and I enjoyed the dinner and the service,we have been to the Deer park for dinner before, and have never been disappointed. We will return.
Very disappointing. The prime rib was tough and not very flavorful at all. Most everything else was only lukewarm and very average. We expected more quality, especially for the price.
The story of the building is great. The food was very good. Lots of choices. Service was excellent.
One of the best meals I ever had! Go with a big appetite!
The Deerpark has some of the best food available. Most, if not all, of the food served comes from the Biltmore Estate farm and is about as fresh as possible. The meals are buffet style and the tables are covered in white linen tablecloths. The staff are excellent and we were well taken care of. I highly recommend the Deerpark to anyone visiting Biltmore House and Estate.
All of the food was delicious. The pumpkin apple soup and herb-crusted turkey were so flavorful.
We enjoyed our dinner at Deer Park on Monday. The food was great and the atmosphere was festive and warm. We only had one concern and it was the service. Twice we had to remove our used dishes to make room for our next plates of food and we each had to get up and fill our own water glasses. Not a huge deal but there were only a handful of occupied tables at that time.
It was a lovely experience. The only criticism would be some of the food was not quite as good as It might be. Prime rib was just average.Breads were a little disappointing. Overall the food was below what I might have expected. But I would go again.
Fantastic find at Biltmore. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Had some interesting items on the buffet... mostly in the variety of good appetizers, breads, and desserts. ‘Core’ items pretty standard (turkey, roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, etc). Reasonably priced at $24.95 (includes coffee or tea). We left well satisfied, would definitely consider a return visit next time here!
