Seated 35 minutes past reservation time. Understandably it was a busy holiday, however, it took over 30 minutes to get a drink with our meal, and then it was only retrieved by a hostess not the server. Server later asked us if we wanted another drink to which we order a beer and waters. Never returned. 20 minutes later she swung by to ask if we wanted anything. I said yes, the beer and the waters and she said "oh yeah, sorry I'm so busy I forgot".
This is our 6th year coming and by far, the worst. Lots of things not replaced readily. Having to tell staff, "hey, you have no syrup left, there's no more pineapple, etc." For almost 200 for the 4 of us, there are better options out there with timed seating. Sadly, I don't think we'll be returning again.
Our table of 11 enjoyed ourselves for Easter. The atmosphere was perfect. Service was exceptionable and the hosts were gracious and helpful. Thank you.
Nice Easter brunch with many options, but at a price point well above $250 for 4 people, we could have opted to go to a sit down lunch/dinner and ordered exactly what we wanted. Probably should have looked at Mendenhall.
I am vegan and my fiancé is vegetarian - there was less than a handful of options for us to eat at an Easter buffet that comprised of eight huge serving stations filled with food. It was a poor experience for us at a very expensive rate.
Deerfield does their very best to please all on a very busy Easter Sunday. The buffet was kept fresh and at the right temperature. The workers all had a pleasant demeanor and tried to satisfy all. A great selection, from excellent seafood to breakfast items and bountiful entrees. Perhaps, a few more bussers would have helped. It's pricey, but they aim to deliver value.
Deerfield Buffett Brunch on Easter never disappoints. The crab cakes were so good and all the fruits, veggies, & bread were fresh. The Easter Bunny visited our table for great pictures and I got to enjoy a mimosa or two!
Brunch at Deerfield was delicious! The assortment of breakfast and lunch food would satisfy a King. The NY Strip Steak was tender, the crab cakes filled with crab and not filler - additionally they they were a nice tasting size (size of chips ahoy cookie). The de-veined shrimp were clean and chilled for a nice crunchy bite (unlike some shrimp that are served mushy after de-veining them). The Millionaire's Bacon was soooooo good - sweet, spicy and a bit crunchie - loved it!
Our servers, Sara and Sam, were cheerful and provided the level of service we love having when you're a guest. Greg, the manager, visited our table and chatted with guests helping anyone that had a need. My husband and I will return to Deerfield for another memorable meal.
This was our 2nd visit here... can’t wait until the next time!
The food and service was AWESOME as usual! The millionaire bacon, the bacon, the bacon!
Excellent in every aspect. This dining experience kept us pleased from arrival to departure. Thank you deerfeild
Love the millionaire bacon. Eggs benedict and their new eggs nest dish which were served quickly and hot. With the superbowl promotion, they were very crowded so the drink service was very slow. Management was trying hard to fill in for the servers.
This was our first time dining at Deerfield for brunch and everything was exceptional. We were celebrating our mother's birthday (on Super Bowl Sunday) and the entire staff made the event memorable. The food, the servers, the host....everyone and everything was great. The finale to making the day even better was the Eagles winning the Super Bowl. I want to especially recognize our two servers and the gentleman who gave my grandson the VIP tour/treatment. It was an awesome experience for him. Thank you Deerfield for your exceptional service, professionalism, and a job well done.
Deerfield was OFF THE HOOK! We went on Superbowl Sunday and they truly out did themselves. Everything was delicious, philly cheese steak & eggs.... :-)
Meats, soups, vegetables, ice cream, Deerfield did not miss a beat! . Almost everything was Eagles or Super Bowl themed. We had the best time and left very full. The food quality was top notch as well. We absolutely cannot wait to return! Thanks for another great brunch Deerfield!
Great selection of food. Service was horrible. Sat at the table, waiter never came over to greet us or get drinks. Had to ask someone each time for a refill of drinks. Never cleared the plates away. We were celebrating a bday and no acknowledgement. Very disappointing
The major problem I have was I reserved for 8 people and had 8 people show and was still charged full price.
Excellent brunch and service as usual. We impressed a friend that we brought along and he was amazed at the variety and the quality of the food and atmosphere.
We went for the champagne brunch on New Years eve. We’ve been for regular Sunday brunch there before and each time has been delicious. I highly recommend for a Sunday brunch buffet.
We went for champagne brunch on NYE. It was wonderful! There was tons of variety including lamb, pasta, crab legs, crab cakes, delicious waffles, bacon to die for (millionaire and regular), and was totally worth the price. The dessert bar was by far my favorite part!! Can't wait to go back!
Attended brunch with Santa! It was the most amazing food ever!
We usually LOVE the Santa brunch and we have attended this event for many years and always have left happy & full!! Deerfield's service is usually amazing, but this year our service was poor. We had 2 or 3 waiters and it was really confusing. They usually check in on us occasionally, but we found that we had to flag them down. They also forgot our drinks a few times and it took a LONG time to find someone to get our check. As far as the food...we definitely miss the Mac & Cheese station you used to have and our kids were really disappointed that a brunch would not have pancakes or French toast? There was a waffle station but they were hard and thin. The crab cakes were delicious!!!
Hoping that this years marginal food & service was just a fluke and that next year, the food & service will return to what we are used to. I would still recommend.
Server spilled drinks on me did comp me for one drink food was good great Santa this year
It was a bit hectic and not very organized getting seated at our reservation time. The food was good but some was not too hot. The layout was nice, tge room beautiful. The ease of which to see Santa was very very nice. He took time with each child. My grandchildren had a good time. Thank you
Great spread of food my children really enjoyed the brunch.
Everything about the brunch is classic. Food, service, and the ambience all lend to a fantastic experience. We loved looking out the windows onto the golf course . it is a wonderful place to celebrate.
Awesome as a buffet for a special event. Food was delicious.
I have dined here many times in the past on holidays and for Sunday brunch. The food and service has always been good. On this occasion however I was very unhappy.
I made a special request to be seated near the dining room entrance so my 84 year old father would not have to walk across the enormous dinning room. The request was detailed in writing when I made the reservation online. I repeated it again the week before Thanksgiving when the restaurant called me to confirm my reservation. I repeated it a third time when I checked in upon arriving to the restaurant. The hostess STILL got it wrong and proceeded to lead my party halfway across the dining room. When I expressed my displeasure and asked if she was aware of my request, she said "yes, you wanted to sit close the buffet." Obviously the hostess did not listen to me when I reminder her at check in that I wanted a table near the entrance.
This will be the last time my family dines at Deerfield.
This is our second Thanksgiving my family and I had at Deerfield and we plan on returning next year. Food is always delicious with a wide variety of choices. Staff is exceptionally nice and very welcoming. Atmosphere is pleasant as well. It was nice that we had 2 servers this year for our table of 3 compared to the 1 server we had last year for our table of 7. Our servers were very nice but did not keep up with our drink orders very quickly. We had to flag them down a few times. We would've liked to have coffee with our dessert and were almost done and had to flag one of the servers down just to get coffee. Also we were sitting there having finished and ready to leave and again had to search for our server to bring our check. Definately will go back again next year. Beautiful place! Just those few things with the servers could be improved upon.
While there is always a concern with food quality at brunches as elaborate as at Deerfield, they have found a way to overcome this as the food was even better than our last visit last year. A great venue, food and terrific service - well worth the trip to Sunday Brunch. Well done. Please keep up the great work! We will be back.
Very good food. Expensive unless you focus on the sea food and carving station. For some reason, the eggs benedict is very slow to come out of the kitchen, mine took 30 minutes so it was good I did my first trip to the buffet rather then waiting for the eggs benedict.
My party had a great time! The food was delicious!
Went for buffett. Ton of food to choose from and the entire staff was great. They were all very happy great service. Will definitely go again
I have been to Deerfield several times for the Sunday Brunch and found the food it to be wonderful. This Sunday (10/8) there was not as much variety. The lamb was very tough.
We had a very enjoyable 80th Birthday brunch for my mom.
Bountiful brunch - go extremely hungry because you'll want to try everything and there's much to much to choose from. I gave it my best and walked away overstuffed! Worse than a thanksgiving feast! Seriously though, there is so much to try from homemade fresh Belgian waffles to omelettes to crab cakes and crab legs to the carving station with three types of meat/poultry and a nice selection of dessert including ice cream with toppings. One of the new additions was a fresh donut wall. The apple cinnamon cider donut was so tempting I bit into it before I made it back to my table. It's a little pricey but you'll understand why.
This was our first time at Deerfield. We had their brunch and was extremely pleased. There was a variety of both hot & cold food choices. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.
Always a treat to dine at Deerfield. The buffet has been changed and no longer offers the raw bar. I really missed the oysters. They also did away with the best bread pudding I've ever had. I know oysters can be pricey, but please bring back the highlight of our meal!
My family and I could not miss the opening to 111ft brunch goodness this past Sunday 9/24/17. Deerfield has done it again with its Sunday brunch . From the food to the service it was great. David and his staff are great .. the new add Stirfry to the brunch is great . Jd and his partner can’t remember her name were very on top of our table . Jeff Robbison , David Quinn the managers were on top of checking on every table making sure everything was ok ... the family and I will be back for sure .. me for that Stirfry and a great bloody Mary 👍🏾
A little disorganized today. Waited 45mins for our 1:30 reservation. Drinks came 3/4 through the meal. Getting the check and settling up took over 30mins. Food was wonderful and staff were kind and pleasant.
We attended brunch on Father's Day and had a 1:30 reservation but didn't get seated until 2:10. The place was packed & the servers were visibly frazzled & not very friendly. We had iced tea & water for our beverages & each time we had to flag down a server for refills we had to ask for ice because none of the glasses came with it. The food itself was excellent, however, since we were seated late, some of the desserts ran out because the buffet was only scheduled to run until 3:00. Therefore, the advertised ice cream dessert bar that my daughter was so looking forward to was basically a dish of vanilla ice cream with a few sprinkles on top and the scrapings of some chocolate sauce from the bottom of the dish that was remaining! The rest of the fixins were gone and were not to be replaced, as was the apple pie, the lemon meringue pie and numerous other goodies. While I did enjoy the items on the buffet, I found the $43.00 per person charge to be a bit much.
I brought my husband here for Father's day. We had a great dining experience.
