A second set of very different dining options includes our calendar of Sunday Brunches and Deerfield's holiday events. Holiday events include Valentine's Brunch, Easter Buffet, Mother's Day Buffet, Father's Day Brunch, Thanksgiving Buffet, and Brunches With Santa.
Late September to early May, Deerfield features "The Ultimate Brunch Experience" (10am-1pm) featuring over "111 feet of brunchy goodness." Brunch is not served from early May until late September (other than Father's Day). Brunch & Holiday Events differ from each other in menu and pricing.

This was our first visit to Deerfield but it certainly won't be our last. Everything about the experience was wonderful. The staff was super attentive without intruding, the variety and quality of the food was superb and the ambiance of the beautiful dining room was lovely. There are views of the golf course out every window, too. This was terrific, highly recommend!

Sunday buffet was very good and offered a large variety of food. A little pricey for those of us that don't eat our moneys worth but the food was all very good.
Great selection of food; bacon a little too crispy. Grits were smooth, creamy, very good but I like old fashioned grits where I can taste the grit! Friendliness of staff was superb! Definitely worth going back for another brunch!
The food was fabulous. I had heard others talk about how great the brunch was, so I had to try for myself. I was not disappointed.
My wife and I went for the Sunday brunch and it was amazing. They had everything you could ever want and more. A carving station with steak, turkey, ham and rack of lamb. Seafood including steamed crab legs, crab cakes, ahi tuna, salmon and smoked trout. Also an omlet station. A wall of special donuts and deserts. The chef also makes eggs benedict, just let the server know when you want it. The price is not bad for what you get.
Food was amazing. Service was slow. It took at least 15 minutes to get drinks. Getting our check was another 20-30 minute wait.
Will definitely go back. Food was great. Seating was comfortable. Did not feel rushed. Enjoyed our meal.
It was the first time that I went to the Sunday Brunch. My family and I attended and we had the most enjoyable time. Food was outstanding, servers were on top of things, making sure we had cleaned plates, drinks were always filled, and food was up to par! It was a wonderful experience and am looking forward to going again!

We have a monthly cousin brunch and we chose Deerfield. The food was awesome and the service was exceptional.

The brunch buffet spread was incredible. It included typical breakfast fare, seafood, meat carving stations, salad, fruit, and a dessert spread like no other. The only thing that surprised me was the so-called "donut wall" is really more like a "donut posterboard." Other than that, it was excellent!

It’s been quite some time since I’ve been here for brunch everything was wonderful. The service was quick and the buffet was outstanding. I can’t wait to return.
I have had several brunch luncheons at Deerfield that have been very good. This last brunch on super bowl Sunday was the worst experience I have ever had there. I had taken my daughter and all the family there for her birthday. We waited at our table for over half an hour before a waiter showed up to take drink orders which were not delivered to our table until we were almost finished eating. I had asked for coffee and cream which came after I was done eating but I never did get any cream for it. No one picked up our dirty plates the entire time we were there, we actually started stacking them on a table next to us after the people at that table had left. The food was very good as always but I was extremely disappointed with how we were treated. I was actually embarrassed to have taken my daughter there. Certainly not a 300 dollar plus lunch outing.

Just a really nice place for brunch. Food very good. Service very good. Noise level was great, unlile many other restaurants. We could actually hold a conversation. Surrounding area is nice as well

So lots of pros and cons:
Meat station: good selection however no choice on how well the meat was cooked I.e no choice of well, medium etc.
Seafood: I can’t eat shellfish so can’t speak on that, however my friend who came with me LOOVVVED the crab cakes but the crab legs was very salty and she couldn’t finish it.
Breakfast/omelette station: homefries semi cold but tasty. Only scrambled eggs no scrambled egg whites as a choice. Only pork meats I.e. no turkey or sausage. There wasn’t a choice of pancakes only waffles.
Waffle station: only plain and strawberry toppings as a choice. Didn’t see anything else.
Desserts: lots of options but the cakes where dry and a bit stale. The donuts were excellent. Canolis (not sure how to spell that lol) also excellent.
Ambience and staff was excellent. Although they did give me a dirty glass. They apologized profusely for it.
It would’ve been nice to have a bottomless mimosa bar where you can make your own but have the staff pour the champagne of course.
Over all: I wouldn’t run back but I will still keep it as a Sunday brunch choice.

This is the third time to Sunday Brunch at Deerfield in the last year. I believe they are getting better each time we go. The quality and variety of choices are second to none. The service continues to be very good. Give it a shot but make reservations or you may miss out.

Since I have dined at this restaurant before, I cannot compare our experience this time to past experiences. The service was horrible and we waited for over an hour for our bill only to have the computer crash on us. We waited an additional 30 min for the computers to come back up. It would not have been too bad if the waiter would've been more professional. The only complaint with the food was sour waffle batter, which when I bought it to their attention, they promptly corrected.

Great food with an amazing ambience!
We have attended the Brunch with Santa for the past 4 years. It's always been a highlight to our holiday. This year we were very disappointed. The selection of food was not as good as in the past. The desserts were nothing to write home about. The piece of cake my grandson had tasted like wax. The coffee was luke warm. Having Santa in the same room that you ate in added to the excitement & festive nature of the event. Perhaps it was better for Santa to be in a separate room but it took away from the whole idea of having Brunch with Santa. For the price of the meal, it should always be an exceptional meal.
Brunch with Santa was great. Very busy but they were so well organized we barely noticed. Super selection of foods which were all cooked perfectly. Great staff
The brunch is absolutely excellent! The seafood was super fresh and delicious. The rack of lamb just melted in your mouth. They had a wonderful set up for brunch when we went to brunch with Santa!
Went for Santa Brunch and it was delicious although out of all the food on the buffet there was only 1 vegan option and it was fruit. A little disappointing for the price for my daughter. Santa was wonderful with our grandchild and we will definitely do again.

Great place to dine. The atmosphere is comfortable and the surroundings are pleasant. Attentive wait staff.
Good food, good service. Price for dinner was on the high side. We had a 5pm reservation but didn't get seated until 5:35. The desert table was half empty when we were ready for it. Very poor selection.

This was our first time for Thanksgiving! The property is beautiful and the service was outstanding! The food was delicious and my family was highly satisfied. So much variety in The entree’s and desserts. It’s a little bit pricey but worth it for sure. Will definitely go back in the future

Thanksgiving dinner food and service were outstanding. This is a special family holiday, and as such, I would like to see Deerfield institute a dress code. Dirty jeans, hoodies, and ball caps should not be allowed.
I'm not talking about jackets or ties, but collared shirts and no jeans would be appreciated.

This is the second time I have attended a holiday buffet at Deerfield, the 1st time was Mothers Day 2018 and we all enjoyed it. The second time was Thanksgiving 2018, the food was good but the service was very slow, and both of my drinks (soda&water) had leftover lipstick on them which was rather nasty. My silverware was rather dirty too, i was less than amused about that it was pretty obvious. Otherwise ill give it another chance in the future.
