decarli restaurant is where rustic meets modern. Chef/owner, Paul DeCarli, pulls from his Swiss-Italian roots to create a menu that reflects his heritage as well as combine local Northwest ingredients. Polenta fries with gorgonzola butter, mussels in fennel-saffron cream sauce, and espresso-braised shortribs are just a few of the many "must-haves.” Soaring open beam ceilings with rustic brick walls add to the ambiance of this 1924 historic building.

A lovely meal as always. The arancini are especially good, as was the butterscotch budding dessert. Spaghetti and meatballs on Sunday are always a good choice, and the porchetta was delicious. The soup, as always, was out of this world. The service was perfect.

A nice date spot. My wife and I really appreciated the ambiance of the restaurant. The bar area seems very food. While we hoped for more vegetarian entrees, we found our meals quite pleasant. Will return.

It’s the best we’ve found in the neighborhood. The salad was so overdressed it was inedible. When the waitress came by to pick them up she didn’t ask how the food was. Not that big a deal but when you see more than half of the plate left you should ask. On a different note, my wife had to he Halibut and loved it!

The food and service are great. Mussels are best ever! Noise level is pretty high, especially on weekends and special occasions. It can be difficult to converse with larger parties.

Decarlis has been our go to place for dining in the Beaverton area. I think it is the number one choice right now! Service ,food, drinks were all fantastic. PS If bar busy start at Watson Hall around the corner.

The beef short ribs did not disappoint. Have had them before and couldn’t resist getting them again. Great ambience, nothing fancy, but love the brick wall, kind of a minimalist feel. Very good service, commensurate with the very good food and overall fine dining like feel. Recommend it.

Other than the server maybe needing to be a little more attentive and being a bit shaky on the food/drink menu food was great

We were happy with the quality of service at decarli, and the overall atmosphere. We felt the table (in the very back) was too dark (needed smartphone light to read menu). We shared the hanger steak entry and were very pleased with the requested medium rare preparation, quality presentation, and wonderfully savory taste (though the portion size was smaller than expected) The salted caramel cheesecake was unfortunately but a bit disappointing (too salty, and even somewhat bitter to the taste, where sweetness was our expectation for a cheesecake).

DeCarli's is probably the best fine dining restaurant on the westside. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. It's all about the food and service. DeCarli's never disappoints.

The beef short rib dish was incredibly tender and had great depth of flavor. The field greens salad was a generous serving and was perfectly dressed. It could have easily been shared by 3 or 4 people.
