As always, an outstanding dinner. This evening we all ordered from the restaurant menu (not the daily specials) and it was equal to the specials in every way. Both menus have excellent items available.
Do make reservations if possible. On a Monday it was quite full.
Our favorite "go-to" place.
Amazing! We love this place.
Wonderful evening!! Great selection, great food and great service!!
They continually excced my expectations! I will be back soon!
Great food and super service
De La Torres was a huge disappointment. The food was mediocre, prices were high and overall a bust. Was looking forward to trying this place again as have lived in Pleasanton for 30 years and it’s probably been 20 since I ate there and had heard good reviews. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi with Angel Hair pasta. The shrimp were over cooked and had no flavor. The noodles were over cooked and had no taste what so ever. Sent it back and the waiter just kinda of thru the plate down when he returned the meal. This time the noodles were in a bucket of sauce, still no taste and not presented in a way you would expect from a restaurant. It looked like they took my noodles off the plate when they recooked the shrimp and just dumped them back on before serving. Will not be going back.
It is lovely place with a lot of charm. Service is great. Wish they had a bar.
Great food great service. Risotto was amazing
We discovered this restaurant last month. . We have been here 3 times since then. The food is excellent, fresh, and delicious. We highly recommend. The waiters are very attentive to your needs.
big call out to your service, it was a match date for me first time meeting from MaLouyou did your homework you put us in a booth and we talked we connected it was perfect the service was great I would and will come back many more times the food was outstanding the service was outstanding management coming by checking honest was outstanding I just can't I can't tell you how this was just great.

First time here and the reviews didn't lie. Arrived for my reservation at 5 pm dinner opening. Service, food, ambiance, EVERYTHING was on point and exceeded our expectations. Will definitely return again and again!
Always love this place. Best thing for a random date
Dinner and dessert were fabulous! Felt good to have a great dinner in a room full of people enjoying themselves!
This place is definitely a hidden gem of Pleasanton. Great food, great staff, and excellent service! They always have really awesome daily specials to add in addition to their regular menu, which allows you to keep experiencing new things every time you go back. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!
We had a wonderful meal. It was our first time back since COVID. We ordered a fonduta to start - it’s not on the menu but they made it and so so yummy! Our entrees were all super. One had the sole, another the polenta and sausage, I had an antipasti salad - again not on the menu but they made it and I loved it. I shared it with my husband who ordered a calzone. We wanted dessert but all of us agreed we had no room! The service was super and we left very happy!
Like an old friend you haven't seen for a while, De La Torre's did not disappoint. Great food choices, with great tastes and presentation. The staff went out of their way to welcome you and insure all your questions and options were answered. As always, a great meal.
Food was fabulous and the service e could not be beat. Thank you Jewels! Your recommendations were spot on! Yum!
don'tmiss the bread pudding. my new favorite italian restaurant
Three of. The four meals were very tasty. The halibut dish was not acceptable for one of us but was replaced by another entree in good fashion. Will return
The food is excellent fresh, Great quality, and delicious. This was our second time in 2 week period . It is definitely a repeat. Service is warm and friendly . Portions are great size. We found an excellent restaurant
De La Torre's has been our favorite local Italian spot for at least 10 years back when the owner was still with us. Hats off to his wife and the management and staff. They continue to provide that amazing service (one waiter still remembers us!) and quality of food they have always delivered. Last night we ate inside for the first time since the pandemic and from our modifications, allergies and special requests - everything was accommodated with a smile (under the masks of course). Our favorite dishes are the classics starting with their fresh Misto salad followed by Rigatoni, Salmon, Chicken Parmesan and of course their Lasagne! Last night, it was my son's school promotion and without prompting they brought out a lovely chocolate ganache treat. We highly recommend this fabulous family owned business!
Everything was fantastic and we were the last table to be sat before the kitchen closed. Don’t let the exterior fool you into not going. It is amazing. Also, make sure to leave room for the raspberry sorbet for dessert! To quote my colleague... “I don’t like raspberry but this is so good I’d pay double for it!”
Pre-Pandemic or as we come out of the Pandemic, De La Torre’s remains the Neighborhood Gem of the Tri-Valley! The Food and the Service are both Absolutely Wonderful.
Ok food, good value. Had the Gamberoni Saltate "scampi style"- did not taste the garlic/vino blanco/lemon at all just plain pasta so was little dissappointed. But service was good.
Wonderful meal ! I was so excited to see a veal cutlet in their menu . Service was amazing as well . Will definitely go back .
This was our first time at De La Torre's. It came highly recommended and we drove out from San Bruno just to try it. The food and service were both outstanding! We'll definitely be back. Well worth the trip!
First time trying after reading several positive comments. Overall everything was good. The dish was a little salty to my like, but it was tasty.
Very cozy and the food was great. Our out of town guests were very pleased.
Had a delightful meal. Will be returning. Loved the food.
We had a Caesar salad. Dressing was light and delicious. Best calamari I’ve ever had and I’m not much of a fan. For our main courses we had the lasagna which was amazing and a tortellini cream pasta which was also quite tasty. Wine recommendations were great and paired well. Dessert was a toffee butter cake with gelato that was Amazing !! Entire process from reservation to dining was smooth. The restaurant tables were nicely spaced. There is indoor and outdoor dining
Great ambiance, great food, friendly servers, and a feeling of well being--that's De La Torre's Trattoria!
We have come to this place many times over the years and it just wasn't the same this time. My mom's salmon was so so, my shrimp scampi was flavorless and I do not know if they forgot the sauce which I had understood to be butter & garlic sauce but it was all butter and no flavor. The bruschetta was good. It was a great disappointment for my birthday dinner. Our waiter was hard to find most of the time so I started asking for assistance from other staff. I was really disappointed having it on my list as one of my favorite places not so anymore or at this time for sure.
Everything was fantastic. Right before we got our desert the whole complex lost power and we finished our meal with just the sunlight filtering through the windows. Feel sorry for all the people that had reservations after us and the people that were expecting to pick up their to go orders.
Our favorite restaurant. Excellent Caesar salad, fresh fish and great pasta. The service is always attentive. Prices are fair.
Always a pleasure, great food, people and service.
This place is always delicious. Service is always above par and very attentive. You won’t be disappointed.
They are simply amazing! Food & Staff are aways so good!!
Never a problem or bad meal!! We love them!!
Experienced another great meal at Delatorre’s! Ordered veal parmigiana...so tender and flavorful. The portion was generous, enough for a super-tasty sandwich today. The menu always includes a long list of always available items as well as a list of changing specials. So much from which to choose. Delatorre’s is a true neighborhood gem. If you haven’t already, give it a try...if you’ve been there, get on back! Authentic Italian dining in a welcoming atmosphere.
The food and service were excellent!
Delicious artichoke appetizer, mixed salad (enuf for 3 ) and authentic Italian pizza crust with tasty toppings and wonderful cheese. Up scale dining with cloth napkins, cutlery and dishes. Plenty of personal service.
