Great food always. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. Super fun Saturday place for date night or hanging with friends. Cocktails are also very well crafted.

So disappointing. Haven’t been in a while and probably won’t be back. To start, my specialty cocktail was terrible. The apps didn’t have much flavor. My main course had mushrooms and I’m allergic. When I asked the waiter if it said mushrooms on the menu, he replied, “oh no, it hasn’t been updated. I’ll get you another order.” At that point, I was so annoyed I said no thanks. I assumed they would’ve taken it off the bill, but nope. Customer service was nonexistent.

The food is always great and the staff polite and helpful. Lots of good options on the menu and they cycle new entrees in. But the staples like chicken under a brick can't be beat. Good beers and cocktails as well. Highly recommend.

Wine dinner is always excellent! Tracy is knowledgeable and such a doll! Learn something every time.

Beef tenderloin($36) was not a tenderloin at all. Huge bone, with 3 bites of re-heated meat. Frozen boxed potatoe bites. My 2 friends had a beef dish, sweetened with sugar, yuck. 1 of is is a head chef, another a former sauté/line cook, and a foodie. So much for impressing my new friends. An $155. + 30. = 185. waste of my hard earned money.

Our meal was so delicious and our server was very attentive - a great dinner. I especially loved the mussels and will be back for more!

The menu was overpriced - I received a "salad" of cucumber and tomato that barely covered a small plate --$13. Ridiculous.

Dbar is always a great time. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. That being said, this was he first time I noticed Dbar is now part of Boston Urban Hospitality. I hope this merger doesn’t change the heart of Dbar.

Great food (Pan seared Cod was perfectly cooked). The bread (served with three flavors olive oils) by itself is worth the trio. The service and the wait person were great and the martini's are reasonable too.

Excellent food. Felt extra hustled in and out, when others around us did not receive similar treatment. Not the first time we’ve had a bad experience here. A shame.

I loved my time there I was able to see an old friend of mine who works there... the food was amazing my drinks were great. My friends and I really had a great time. We will be back soon

How was DBar you ask....AMAZING as usual. We are regulars!!! We never go out for Valentine's Day but used the day to have a dinner date mid-week. The special V-Day menu was out of this world and at $69 per person with 4 courses felt like we were stealing. The staff is awesome and the patrons are great. 5 stars in our eyes and I'm sure others.

Most recent trip to Dbar was a last minute choice after a 6:40 movie in Boston. Pleased to grab a 9:45 reservation from the mobile app, on a Saturday night. The place was full and jumping, bar filled with energy, but we were easily and immediately seated at a corner table. Great, genuinely friendly, attentive service. We were happy to see the infamous Bolognese still on the menu, and it (and the burger) did not disappoint. Finished eating on the cusp of the changeover to dance bar so enjoyed some pumped up volume and people watching for dessert. Never had a bad experience here and always wonder why I don't come back sooner.

We went early so it was dark and quiet. With available parking, good food and good service it was worth it for about $35/person (apps, dinner, and no drinks)

D-bar is always a great spot. The menu never disappoints and the wait staff and bartenders are friendly and extremely attentive. Brick Chicken is my all time favorite.

How does this restaurant stay in business? Poorly made cocktails, chicken (under a brick) with the texture of rubber. A Baked Alaska with the lingering taste of butane. Mind numbingly incompetent staff who think their above average looks compensate for a poor performance. Bottom line. You’ll have a better meal at Olive Garden for half the price with better service.

We have been faithful fans of Dbar, and they never disappoint. Destination pork chops with spaezle, red cabbage and homemade sausage. Wow!

Certainly not a bad place, but the experience of dining could have been better.

After making a reservation on Opentable for 8:45 (there were open slots listed to 9PM) we arrived and were greeted immediately upon entering with, "Hi guys. Just want to let you know the kitchen closes in 10 minutes".
No pressure there.

We ordered a few of the small plates to share which arrived in rapid succession. Some even earlier than the bottle of wine we ordered. Nothing was bad, just to be clear.
But, when food arrives within 3 minutes of being ordered, its been sitting on the ready.

2 of the items shared a sauce (exactly the same) and the same flavor, even though they were "different". Another of the items, Vietnamese fries, was really nothing but a stack of not-crispy French fries, with sriacha and sliced red peppers. There wasn't a noticeable flavor - just unnecessary heat.

The restaurant was a staple of my dining days when I lived in Boston. After moving away 8 years ago and then visiting this last weekend, I was disappointed to find that dBar hasn't changed very much. It maintained a status quo that makes it seem dated, tired, and out of fashion from the rest of the Boston restaurant scene.

Great food and drinks. Service was excellent. We had to wait a little while for our table since it was crowded, so our server brought us 2 glasses of complimentary champagne on the house for our inconvenience. Great customer service, most restaurants could care less. We have been here a few times now and will continue to come back!

First time eating at this establishment. Everything was perfect from the service to the food and drink. I would highly recommend the DBar and look forward to my next visit!

We wanted to enjoy the warming trend and have a predictably good meal and we got that at DBar. I think we always enjoy some favorites like Chicken under a brick or the Taco appetizers. What I enjoy the most of Chef and this restaurant is the consistency and the ability to change with the seasons. My husband had the cod that was so filling and delicate and I had the sausage and pasta. For my meal you could taste the fennel and layers of flavors. For my husband's meal, the cod was pan seared, and flavorful. We saved room for the green apple tart and it was so good, I wish I hadn't shared it so I could have more for myself. DBar is true neighborhood gem and we hope to keep it that way. We love going there and trying something new and different every time, knowing that it will be a good food experience.

I was there with my brothers and sisters for a birthday party (12 of us). We had a great time. They were extremely accommodating and so friendly and nice! The food was amazing!!

Not my first Rodeo at dbar. I always enjoy myself there. Really good food, excellent service, knowledgeable staff, decent value. Certainly helps that it is very close to where I live. Great having them in Dorchester.

Me and my husband eat here about 1x per week. The food is great, the drinks are fab and the staff is amazing. It gets pretty loud so if you are looking for a place to talk and cant project your voice you may get frustrated. After tasting the food it will be worth it!!

I am a local who just love the atmosphere, food and cocktails. I have been there many times and will continue going.
