Lindsay, our host was amazing, great staff, Michael was wonderful as well, we were very well taken care of once again.
Very disappointed by the service
Food was cold and very slow service for a not busy restaurant
Hopefully my visit to the one in NYC will change my vision in DB restaurants
Sophisticated vibe. Sleek service. Delicious food.
Very disappointed with our recent visit. Booked high tea and called direct to confirm. When we arrived we were told they didn’t have us confirmed for tea. So we had 2 sets of high tea. My kids had to order from menu. They were out of gnocchi and so decided to bring squash ravioli without asking if that was acceptable, which is wasn’t. Had to order another meal and by the time it arrived everyone else at the table was finished. Our server was very apologetic and did offer drinks with out charging us which was all she could do. I don’t think this was worth the money for the experience we had. Not up to four season standards
It was my daughters birthday and her favourite place to celebrate
A pleasure
Great food but over-priced for what it is. You are paying for the ambience and location.
Great service, food and ambiance! Fantastic cocktails too!
Lobster rolls - too much brioche for lobster roll. Should be less bready!
The octopus was definitely exceptional, as was the Cobb Salad - but everything else was classic and very good. One could argue that it lacked a certain creative flair, but delivered what you expected at an optimal level.
Jade, our server was very good. She was able to expedite our orders as we were in a tight schedule.
Great, fantastic service
The food was small portion but tasty. The service was good. The restaurant was good
Specifically requested the patio when making my reservation for Saturday lunch. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was told that the patio was closed. No e-mail or phone call to inform me in advance and give me sufficient time to make alternate plans.
Cobb salad was sub-par, not even a touch of fanciness to justify the $27 price. A hard-boiled egg cut in two, three slices of deli turkey on top of plain lettuce. My home version is way more elegant (presentation and choice of garnishes), even though I am not a cook at Daniel Boulud's level...
Service was charming but could not compensate for the lackluster experience.
It’s always a party at Dbar! Or a meeting..
D-Bar excellent food, variety, service and ambience - what more could one wish for! Never fails to exceed expectations.
June 22/19. I have not Received my points. It is annoying to take the time to phone the restaurant to report it

For the four seasons rest
We had a great table, it was very comfortable and had enough privacy, but it offered a great view of the restaurant. Our server was very friendly, efficient and helpful. We were there for over 2 hours and didn’t feel rushed.
I was unable to reserve a table with chairs on the website and when we arrived the table we would have preferred had a reserved sign on it and the guests never showed up.
My guest found the couch uncomfortable even with the pillow and the table low.
However, the space was quiet which was nice.
The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was on point. Warning - be prepared to pay Yorkville prices for your meal. It was very expensive but it's a lovely outing for a quite dining place inside. The outdoor patio is nice in the summer but can be quite loud given it's in a noisy area.
I am a girl I went alone to meet a business associate. They treat you without respect if you are a girl by herself . Very pathetic
Very enjoyable
Good food. Lovely servers!
So many small children!!!!!!
The worst Cobb salad ever...packaged turkey luncheon meat no Avacado or blue cheese to speak of,
Iceberg lettuce, greasy bacon. Just terrible.
Took my mom for a nice lunch, both very disappointed.
Good food. Attentive service
Food was amazing! Had a lovely time...only thought was that the mimosas were a tad bit overpriced.
Overall, our lunch was excellent. My colleague and I both started off with a caesar salad, a glass of Chablis followed by Gnocchi for her (she said was delicious), and the Flat Iron Steak for me which was, sadly, disappointing. The meat was tough and had grizzle - I did not finish my meal. For $39.00, I expected the meat to be tender and sans grizzle. Sad but true. I would not recommend the steak.
We finished the meal with coffee and creme brulee which was delicious.
The tomato soup of the day and grilled cheese sandwich was perfectly executed comfort food on a grey, chilly day.
Always s winner
The prices on their menu were 30% higher than the prices on the Open Table menu. Manager said OT menu was two years old. I felt that was a lousy excuse, someone should have known.
Will most likely not return.
I ordered the charcutterie platter. The meat selections were mediocre in quality and quanity. The dish was grossly overpriced.
Been dbar couple times for drink or dinner, always find their foods are good. We tried cobb salad, lobster roll, and crispy lamb ribs. The cobb salad is ok but I think it's a bit overpriced. For the lobster roll, it's full of lobster meat and the sauce is very good. And I like that they toast the bread a bit. As for the crispy lamb ribs, it's tender inside and crispy outside, a very nice balance.
Unfortunately, the service need some improvement. As the waiter drop fork and knife twice, and not attentive enough in general. Which is pretty surprising as it's from Four Season and under Boulud's name.
Although we live nearby, this was our first time here. Went at an “odd”/non typical time for the venue (sun mid afternoon)), but had a good time. Service was excellent....friendly, witty, efficient and better yet, non pretentious. Food was all good, and drinks were the same. Not exactly a budget minded place, but above average value for an expensive area. Would repeat.
They shouldn’t seat people at those really low chairs and tables
Jessie , our main server was amazing, but she had absolutely no back up. A fun lunch but both food and service were very inconsistent equally wonderful and very disappointing
They were able to accommodate my GF grilled cheese sandwich craving (that wasn’t on the menu) good customer service and liked the special touch of addicting a cookie to my hot tea order.
Loved it, one of the nicest place for lunch in Toronto
Was good but the turkey used is the deli turkey and this high end restaurant should be fresh carved turkey. Or use chicken...
I love the restaurant. It is Kid-friendly. The food was delicious & the servers were very friendly. We all had great time. I recommended it for my friends.
Far too much noise. DJ at top level, I couldn't have a conversation with a friend. And that was the reason I choose the DBar. Last week, on a Thursday, I met a 93 year old friend for lunch du- we could hear ourselves speak!
