Completely beyond the employees control, there were large parties who came in with no reservation. We, a group of 9, did have a reservation. the issue became that service was slower than usual, the food felt hurried as in my sandwich came out not put together and there was a mix up in one of the sides. I felt the staff was trying, which is what I am used to, but it was not my best visit there. I'm there almost once a week, so it will not deter me from returning, but I want to be honest. They were not staffed for a full house and that many large parties.

We honestly had the BEST time.. . we were there on St Patrick's Day late afternoon...the joint was definitely jumpin' !!! Caden, our waiter, was simply amazing and Johnny in the spot... We didn't have to ask twice for anything!!! Will definitely put Dawson's on our list of places to go!!!

Not crowded even for Valentines Day. The wait for seating and food was short. Server was friendly. Now for the not so good. The actual menu was different from what was represented online, The table was sticky, wine list was not what was available actually, ordered an appetizer that never came or was mentioned again (wasn't charged), steak was over, food was average at best. Tried Dawson's during Devour Indy. Service by Kylee was 6-star worthy. The food was exceptional also. Bloody Mary was good with just the right amount of spice. The lemon drop martini was, unfortunately, a different story. It is waaay overpriced and was watered down. Charged $13 for a $4.99 drink.

I hadn't been to Dawson's in a while. It's always been good in the past, but I was a little underwhelmed with the food. Off the Devour menu I ordered the Avocado salsa Chicken and it was pretty spicy. The rice and green beans were just okay. Apple Cobble was very soupy. Hoping it was just an off night.
