Davio's Ratings and Reviews
This was a date night for my wife and me and we enjoyed it thoroughly. If Davio's was closer to home, we would go more often and where else (fine dining or otherwise) can you get pop overs with a great dinner!? Our meals were tasty and the service was top notch.
We eat at Davios, while in town during the Christmas holidays, as an annual treat. In years past it has been an enjoyable experience. However, today it seemed like they were understaffed. The food took a long time as well... we were there for about 2 hours for lunch! Once we were served the pasta was firm and chewy. They replaced our meals with the meatballs (an appetizer) which were delicious! I️ do not know if we will do this again.
Everyone at Davio's from the host, hostess, servers, server attendants, bar team, food runners, and the management "TOPS" ALL A's_ ATTENTIVE, ABOVE AVERAGE, and AWESOME. They ALL treat me and my clients/guest extremely well. Davio's is my" Go To" when I need to impress a client. Thank you again. Dr.R.M
Seated outside without asking if that was ok or a preference, which on a cold Atlanta evening, it was not. We were told it was open seating outside so to sit anywhere we chose. Mind you, we had made a reservation.
While the popovers were a pleasant surprise, and the scallops were done well, the filet was unseasoned and bland as was the gnocchi with mushrooms.
Most surprising was the lack of service and attentiveness. Water went unfilled, meals took 40 minutes to make it to the table and genuinely felt dismissed.
Not a place I would go again not recommend.
My boyfriend and I were blown away by our experience at Davio's! We ate outside by the firepit and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our server Ciro was exceptional, and made us feel like special customers. The food did not disappoint. I ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese and my boyfriend ordered the New York sirloin. So yummy. We will certainly come back here any chance we get.
Food is always amazing
Menu is complete with plenty of choices for healthy minded foodies as well as comprehensive options for main course as well as pasta entrees...
Super service all the way from the matre’d to the runners delivering food - flawless presentation from their team
It was the first and last time. We ate last night overthere(Atlanta) and we will not be back. The $52 ribeye is overrrated and overpriced; it was not cooked at the right temperature; one medium looks like welldone and the other looks rare. In addition, both ribeye were full of gristle. The service was slow and the server was professional, like a professional robot...
Dinner at Davio's on a beautiful fall day on the PATIO was absolutely the BEST! The service was very accommodating, attentive and friendly. All of the staff went out of their way to honor any
The food was just outstanding. Every item was prepared perfectly, from the salad having just the right amount of dressing, to the steak being cooked to an absolute "medium rare". The flavors were fresh and authentic. GO, you won't be sorry! Their maitre d noticed that my wife was cold and brought her a blanket ! Ivan and his stuff are amazing!! They all made my everything special.
I love Davio's. Service is great every time. Food is delicious. This particular time we were seated at a table in the bar area which was quite crowded and loud until a large group was seated for a private event outside. Overall the experience was good though.
This was my third time dining at Davio's. This time the bar was so loud that it disrupted the experience in the adjacent dining room. And a couple let their child run around like it was a playground. I would expect the staff to say something to the guest to better control the child.
Rating the noise level the highest of four options does not mean "energetic". Open Table needs to allow the reviewer to choose their description for "loud". We're not dining at a midtown bar.
I enjoyed my meal, but someone else in my party did not like his steak. All and all the food was good, the service was good....and I will go back and give it another try.
We've been to Davio's a few times and compared to other Italian restaurants in Atlanta, it's just not worth the price. Our waiter this visit barely talked to us and we had to flag him down to place our order. The food was just ok, too creamy without much flavor.
Our waiter, while very nice, was difficult to understand. I had a filet, which was outstanding! My wife had another type of steak...the difference was unbelievable. His steak was average at best. Popovers were amazing! We also had a side of asparagus, which was very tasty. We will probably give this restaurant one more try just to be fair. It is very convenient for us.
I hadn't eaten at Davios for some time. I was a bit underwhelmed. The spinach in the oysters Rockafeller was very waterlogged. The steak was very unremarkable. I might be inclined to go back and try some of the Italian dishes.... maybe. Staff was very attentive and courteous.
