Davio's Ratings and Reviews
This was our second visit to Davios. Food is always delicious and its a great place to people watch. We did order our steak with a special sauce that did not come out with the steak and we were pretty much finished before they could get it to us. The manager came and did compensate us for the error. Overall a good experience and we would go back.
Went here for Valentine’s Day, called ahead and was told the dress code was business casual, but they let anyone in there it was a mess. Had to ask for bread, which took about 30 mins and was burnt, butter was SALTY and could barely hear/understand our waitress who came every 40 mins at the beginning. Ordered the ribs and sent them back because over half of it was fat. Ordered the veal and it was bland. Mac n cheese was good and different. Drinks were great and strong so I’d come back did that and their calamari only if I had to.
Tough table to get. Gets full. A little pricey but worth it. It can get a little loud but the tall ceilings help. Decor, music and ambiance are really good. The menu is varied but centered on Italian classics. We both had pasta entrees that were very well done. You can get the pastas as a half plate which is probably the way to go since portions are large (except the gnocci).
Our Second Time There. The experience was just as Great as the First. Our Waiter Brandon showed exceptional intelligence for the Menu and all of our questions. The First time was our Anniversary, the second, my Mother's 75th Birthday. Food was Great and the deserts were memorable. We of course will be be back.
Very accommodating staff for any substitutions. Enjoyed fish of the day, very fresh. Not so much the buffalo chicken spring rolls. Each tried one and thought they were awful. Sadly, even after calling attention to this and putting the rest of them to the side, we were still charged for them. Please take them off the menu. Keep everything else, including the great tequila and wine selections!
We totally enjoyed Davio's for dinner. The service, ambience and food were all outstanding. The chairs are cushioned all over and comfortable; entrée sizes are very more than sufficient, and wine list is good. It's a great place to go for a special occasion with friends.
We were trying to escape the famous shutdown of downtown Atlanta during their 2 inch snowfall as all the surrounding schools, restaurants and business had literally shut down for the day or closed very early that evening. There were almost zero cars on the roads downtown and several of our Uber’s cancelled on us. We finally got to Davio’s via taxi and it was a nice retreat and relatively quiet dinner. Located in a mall setting but food was predictably good for a chain spot. Worth the stop if you’re in the area and want a sure thing.
Second time coming-the food was delicious both times. Flat breads, mussels were divine! However, both trips we had to wait a long time to order drinks. We waited even longer to order our food, and we were rarely checked on. The servers seem to have to many tables at one time.
The overall experience was great! However, our server was not the greatest. He was very nonchalant about tending to us. He tipped over a wine glass on our table and acted as if it was natural and alright. The food was great, and the server experience did not by any means ruin our evening! I would definitely go back to Davio’s in the future.
Just love Davio’s for special nights with my husband or to meet up with friends for a drink—or for a light bite w/girlfriends after a movie...the menu is diverse and interesting, food is really well prepared and delicious, served by a great wait staff... some favorites are the fried chicken livers as a shared app, the lamb chop and the pasta dishes...and, oh my goodness! the popovers are to die for!!! Ask to be seated in the bar area if you’re wanting a lively atmosphere; or the dining room, which is quieter....there’s also a small private room that seats 10
