It was ok for price.
Little pricy. Food was good but the best with the price you pay. Atmosphere was good. Pool tables were awesome
My wife and I had dinner at David’s Club. Waitress told us the soup of the day was tomato and then brought chicken noodle that tasted like it was from a can. Their pasta special was a Chicken Cajun Pasta. It had no seasoning, vegetables were undercooked and chicken had the consistency as if it was boiled. Sent that back and went with just a Mac and Cheese side dish. Pasta was over cooked and mushy. The NY strip was okay, but they will charge you $2 extra for hollandaise sauce from a jar. It was terrible. All I can say is it is very pretentious and overpriced for what it was.
They overset the tables and then take stuff away after you sit down and touch it. Either they don’t consider COVID precautions or want to punish the dishwashers.
Our server was wonderful and made our dinner very special. Thank you.
My husband and I had a superb anniversary dinner here. From start to finish, the service and food were perfect. The Chop Chop salad was one of the tastiest salads I’ve ever had. The ribeye and macaroni and cheese were great as well as the grouper entree. They surprised us with 2 glasses of champagne and delightful bread pudding for dessert. We liked David’s so much, we returned the next night for a shrimp Po Boy and the lobster roll. Wow, both were so good! And they also make a mean espresso martini. Can’t wait to return!
Delicious!! Service was fantastic too. Highly recommend
30th Anniversary dinner
Our food was not high quality and served cold…..didn’t seem worth the price we paid at all.
Had a fabulous time and everyone was friendly
Our dinner was terrible and over priced. We ordered salmon and a Philly cheesesteak. The salmon was over cooked, the Philly cheesesteak was dry and cold.
Staff could not have been better! Service was impeccable, food was great, and drinks and bartenders were outstanding. Great evening!
Keep up the great work!
Rachel was so great we requested her for our second night there! She made the experience fantastic, the food and dining experience was top tier!
The food was delicious, and the staff was great💕
Great place for dining even if you are not staying at the Omni.
Order the wings and chicken nachos to start, then get a steak for dinner. Check out their bourbon selection, it is one of the best.
I enjoy cooler temps but the restaurant was so cold that it was almost painful. They told us they could not change the temperature but would turn the fans off but never did. I ordered a fillet medium and it came to me cooked medium well. Such a shame with a fillet. The meat was slightly stringy and nowhere near as delicious as our experience here several months ago. The service was very good but the food was nowhere it’s good that’s the last time we dined here and definitely overpriced for what we got. I’m not sure we will be back.
Poor quality food for the price. There was a fly "flying" around our table the whole time.
Not sure why they ask if we were celebrating a special occasion. I guess to push the wine menu into the very over-price food menu. Other than that, not a single special treatment. I'm not asking for much but a little special menu for father's day (or whatever occasion) a little token of appreciation or anything that shows they care for the experience that their costumers will have on that 'special occasion' they are celebrating at their restaurant! NOTHING. Not even a very appealing food presentation. Quite the opposite very, very poor presentation.
The filet mignon was dry. The fish was just okay. Which again for the price not worth it at all.
The only thing I would applaud is how nice and attentive the servers were.
We are locals and used to love to come to David's on a regular basis. We were there for our anniversary last October and were treated like VIPs. The whole experience really impressed us, which is why we kept coming back. We'd often just grab a table at the bar for a quick bite and excellent service. Unfortunately, the past 3 or 4 times we dined here, we were very disappointed.
Tonight, we came to celebrate my birthday, which was this past Monday. I even put that on the reservation. I ordered the grouper because the butternut squash puree and broccolini sounded like it would make a delicious, well-rounded meal. When my dish arrived, I could barely find the puree. I commented to the rest of my group, not realizing my server heard me, and he returned with a little side of the puree. He said it is a constant battle with the kitchen, so other people must have the same issue. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken tacos and they were inedible. They were just plain gross. It was basically soggy, shredded chicken over a wisp of cabbage, with a tiny sliver of red pepper on top. Our server removed it from the check, which was appropriate and appreciated.
Bottom line: the service has always been good (sometimes great) here, but the quality of the food has really declined. I realize we all need to take the pandemic into consideration, which is why we keep going back in the hopes that "this time, it will be better". But for the prices they charge, it's just not worth the effort anymore.
Maybe David's management figures they are catering to guests who may only dine there once and never return. But for us locals who like to have a nice reprieve from all the touristy joints in the area, this is a big disappointment.
I give credit to the servers doing the best they can, but the quality of food needs to return to the original standard before I return. And, what's the point of noting you're celebrating something when you make your reservation if it's not going to be acknowledged?
Very nice dinner. Incredible wait staff. Good cooked perfectly. Ambience/decor/layout a little confusing as to purpose of the restaurant.
Delicious food. No wait with a reservation. Excellent service & great views.
Eat here once a week! The food and service never disappoints!!!
Very good food and great service.
Service was good, but food is very basic and presentation of food was obviously not important to the chef. That might be ok in McDonalds but McDonalds is not charging $55 for a filet. Worst of all pretty much all the food was clearly frozen and not fresh. Avoid.
Food is subpar, for the price. I felt I could've ate much better food for the $300 spent. Food lacked seasoning.
Elegant dining in an area short on elegant dining. Top notch service and a terrific, if limited, menu.
Exactly what I would want in a sports bar and more!
The food wasn’t the best for the buck. The service was great and the staff were helpful.
Food was decent, the bar has GREAT selection of Whiskey & Bourbons. Dont order the grouper- nothing special for market price. Best item we had was the kids mac n cheese. You are paying for the convenience of being inside the Omni hotel & not drinking/driving (and they know this).
5 star experience at this restaurant. Celebrated a birthday and we were made to feel like VIP’s.
Food and service was great. Made a reservation and was seated immediately.
We sat on the terrace and had good service but the menu had limited appeal. The 3 steak choices were very expensive for not being in a steakhouse. Two of us had the lobster roll which was full of mayonnaise, one had grouper which was dry and the last one had a chicken and pasta dish that was only so-so. The bill was over $100 per couple. Cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful service, delicious food, and it was delivered very quickly to our table. We were also gifted champagnes toast with desert as we were celebrating our anniversary.
Excellent service, great ambience & food prepared above our expectation...had a great meal experience!
My mother in law and her boyfriend came to visit. Friends from our development (Championsgate) recommended we take them to David’s. Y’all did not disappoint! The food was delicious, portions plentiful, and service excellent. We’ll be back and likely will become regulars.
The service was excellent, our server Laura was very nice and attentive and the food was great.
Fantastic food! Ralph (or Ron?) Severed us both times that we went. He was very professional and also made us laugh quite a few times. It was impressive the way he explained the process our dinner went through. Very knowledgeable. It was pretty awesome that he remembered our faces the 2nd time! The entire experience from beginning to end was memorable. My husband and I left very impressed and happy.
Delicious steaks. Celebrated a birthday there. Everyone in the restaurant sang! Great service and very nice atmosphere
They lost our reservation. They had no room for us at their restaurant but they were able to get us a table next door at the Zen restaurant. Which turned out to be better because the atmosphere at Zen was much nicer and quieter
Service was excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful. We were let down with the quality of food provided for the price point.
Always delicious meal and stellar service
