Found it online and per the description and prices, I thought it would be a nice quiet dinner out. I was shocked to find it was more of a sports club, with pool tables and everything. It was so loud I couldn't even hear my husband from across the table. Additionally, the food was not worth its prices, as it was incredibly oversalted, and the beef under-seasoned. So many better places to eat in Orlando!
our experience was just Okay, nothing really special. the biggest area that needs improvement is the waiting staffs . be prepared to wait long time for your food and drinks to arrive, especially if you go on weekends. food simply tasted ok, nothing spectacular.
David's is a nice restaurant but it's LOUD !!! The food and service are good, but definitely a bar scene there- if you have young children I would recommend Trevi's or Zen if staying at the Omni.
Daniel took great care of us as well as everybody else, food was fantastic and met all of our groups’ requests!
All good. Filet mignon was very well prepared. Very good service.
I was looking for a place for a business dinner this is more of a sports bar than a nice dinning facility. Disappointed
Very disappointing service. Our meal lasted for approximately 3 hours, primarily because the wait staff was not attentive, and for long periods of time, not even visible. When our food did arrive, the steaks were cold. We brought this to the waiter's attention, and his only response was that he would tell the chef. One of our party of 7 didn't even receive her main course when the others were delivered and it took me 15 minutes to get the attention of another waiter to get her meal delivered, and that only after I got up from our table and approached him.
Given that I spent in excess of $1,800 I do not feel that I received even moderate value for dollars spent. Very disappointing.
Food was good. Atmosphere was nice. Management willing to get food from other restaurants in the hotel which was real cool. Our server seemed depressed, which got us thinking what could be wrong with her.
Had a nice meal here. The service was great, the food was delicious but it was pretty loud. It is a sports bar though so we expected that! My friend has a lot of food allergies so the head chef came out and made sure to go over the menu with her and assure her the meal she chose would be prepared safely. That was SUCH a nice gesture and really meant a lot.
We stayed at the resort for a conference this week and ate here twice. The Crab crusted grouper was good, not ‘life changing’ like we were told but good nonetheless. Our second outing we had the bone in ribeye. This was a great cut of meat and cooked perfectly. The peppercorn and brandy sauce was excellent as well.
Don’t let the fact that it’s dubbed a sports bar fool you, it’s a high class place with great food and an extensive wine list.
We made a reservation for dinner and rushed to show up on time, but they made us wait for 20 minutes. I asked to talk to the manager about this. He apologized and said he will make us “happy”. We didn’t see him once since we sat down at our table. In fact, he looked at us one time and did his best to avoid us. The food was average at best, not worth the hefty price we paid.
Great food in an obnoxiously loud setting. If you like big screen TVs and very loud environment you'll love this place.
Steak was ok but they need to take the ahu tuna fish off the menu. It tasted bland. My hubby tried to work with it by trying different sauces but no go. As for my steak nothing special about it. Had better ones at outback. Sorry will not go back to this resto again
Nice restaurant in Omni hotel. Here for a business conference, restaurant handy for a nice meal between sessions or relaxing at the end of the day. Nice menu selection, food very tasty, well prepared. Nice wine selection to complement meal. Server very attentive, helped answer menu questions and assisted with entrée selection. Would return next time in the area.
We were in town for the weekend with our neighbors for golf and the super bowl. The food is great, and Henry the bar tender makes the BEST Manhattans in the western hemisphere, period! Highly recommended!
Dined at David's on February 3rd, but not the first time. We were greeted promptly by hostess who validated valet parking ticket when asked. After delivering our cocktails, the four of us in our party ordered the 8 oz filet mignon and some sides. Everything was perfectly cooked. As locals, we are looking for good value and a wait staff that is properly trained to deliver high end food, including wine service. David's is almost there.
Great meal! Had the Seabass. Wonderful service, Benjamin was very attentive!
Benjamin was very attentive and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. Always a great place to grab a meal or entertain friends.
Average with no special recognition.
Great. Everyone in our party had awesome meal.
Was Pleasently surprised with this restaurant. We had a GREAT meal and the steak was excellent. VERY nice restaurant and everything was excellent. HIGHLY recommended.
I went for New Years Eve, it was a great choice. Great atmosphere and great server
Food always good....service not so good this time. It seems after we did not order a Wine bottle, just glasses, it took forever to get that and did not see waitress often.
On arrival we asked for a table next to window but were told we should have requested that before. Therefore maybe an option could be done on the booking form.
Steak was not cooked and had to go back, then we had to remind server of the side plate. Waiter was good and the food good after it had come back.
Went for our annual Christmas eve, birthday celebration for my girlfriend for the third year straight. I was really disappointed with the quality of food especially when you are paying top dollar. In the past the food has been excellent but I'm not sure if there is a new chef or what, but it tarnished my desire to go back. We had a very large party and only one person said their food was great, which was the ribeye. After spending over $1000 there, I would have been better off buying my own quality steaks and cooking at home because I good easily out cook the chef there.
This place was HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The server was untimely, quite frequently. What broke my heart was I ordered a shrimp cocktail to go, when I got to my hotel room to eat it for my midnight snack, there was NO COCKTAIL sauce. I was staying in a different hotel.
My $17 shrimp cocktail was useless. This place was so highly recommended to me. My filet steak was WELL done, rather than medium.
My Beringer Cab was perfect.
Very overpriced for mediocre food, and a rather dated and tatty restaurant. I can practically guarantee a better steak at any of the major chain restaurants for 1/3 the price. We have just moved into the neighborhood, and were hoping to find a really good restaurant that we could visit a couple times a month - we didn't find it here, we would not return.
It was the only restaurant which had seating when we arrived at the hotel at 9:30pm. The noise level was unbearable. We sat in the dining room boardering the bar. College football was on all the TVs. Tables in the dining room were not bussed and left dirty 15 minutes or more. Food was mediocre. Beverage menu had more choices than the dining menu. If we weren’t starving and had a car we would have left.
Anniversary dinner; everything was phenomenal! Steaks were cooked to perfection, and the drinks were delicious. Highly recommend.
As usual, great experience. The only thing we've noticed is that the servers take our plates away too early. They prompt too often and take it away as soon as we were done. I still had food in my mouth. It feels like we are rushed.
David's Club fell short of our expectations this visit. We have dined there many times and it was one of our favorite places to go. However, this time we were disappointed, mainly by the service. Our server was very hard to find when we needed attention. He did not offer to replenish our drinks and even forgot to bring the glass of red wine our guest ordered with his dinner. As for the food: the crispy chicken was dry and the churros we ordered for dessert came out raw in the middle as did the replacement order. To top off the night, one of the desserts was charged on the wrong bill. We are going to give this restaurant a rest. They weren't even busy.
From the moment you walk in the staff, food and ambiance will not disappoint. Upscale sports bar that should not be missed!!
Amazing service! Great atmosphere! Fantastic food!
We both had the chicken with sweet potato and corn. It's was so delicious! Service was great too.
I was very excited to dine here, especially since on line it said magical dining month had been extended and we could enjoy that feature. Well after being seated, I asked our waiter and he said “no that’s over.” Even when I said the website still showed it was happening, he pretty much dismissed me. The other 3 people in my party enjoyed their meals, and I liked mine except that the fish was pretty much raw inside instead of the medium I was told it would be. I didn’t want to be a hassle so I just didn’t say anything. But for $25, I realize I should have. I did really enjoy the atmosphere.
I had the magical dining menu. I wasn't impressed with the food. I have been to the restaurant other times and the food was better. The service was very slow.
Had great meals but it was freezing in the restaurant.
Went for Magical Dining. Arrived early and we were seated immediately. Got to sample taste the Pinot Noir before ordering a glass. Butter and rolls, especially the cheddar rolls, were delicious. Apps: onion soup was lukewarm...chop chop salad was delicious and cheese dip/fruit/pretzel nubs apps was tasty. Entrees were disappointing. Chicken temp was inconsistent, steaks were unremarkable and all accompanying veggies were lukewarm or cold. The best dessert was the creme brûlée. The bourbon ice cream scoop atop the pecan tart was tasty. Nice grounds to stroll after dinner but not inclined to make the drive again. The manager did come speak with us and gave us comp apps for our next visit...we think not.
Great service and great food!
Food is amazing and they are participating in magical dining! Stephanie is very attentive and makes your dining experience one to remember.
A must try if you are in the area!!
