David Burke Prime at Foxwoods Ratings and Reviews
The food was good the service lacked quite a bit took a long Time for someone to come over after we were seated almost a half hour appetizers came out right away dinner took well over an hour to come out after appetizers manager apologize but gave no reason why things were screwed up we’re there for my sons birthday just left a bad taste in my mouth with the service
We have eaten at Prime several times. This time we both had the prime rib, which was excellent; it was served with a enormous baked potato with bacon and cheese, and was drenched in a very nice au jus. I ordered a side of horseradish cream, which was perfect. We had coffee and creme brulee for dessert - also excellent - and were treated to a carnival-style batch of pink cotton candy as a treat after our meal. The service is always excellent. The place was a bit loud, but it was a Friday evening in early December, so this was probably to be expected.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. From the hostess to the waitstaff the service was impecable and the food exceptional. Everyone was welcoming, courteous and professional. A very comfortable and relaxing place for dinner. We would definitely come back again.
Our dinner was part of a long holiday weekend getaway and we were looking forward to an upscale dining experience. Overall, we found the food overpriced, even for upscale dining. The quality of our food was mixed, with my husband disappointed by his steak, which at $72 should have been stellar. 2 side dishes cost an additional $24 and while good, were not rave worthy. Service was good, drinks were well crafted but pricy. The restaurant can get very noisy.
All the wait staff were just wonderful. Fantastic steak, I finally found a restaurant that knows how to cook my steak perfectly. Without a doubt, I will be a repeat customer every visit to Foxwoods. All my friends and I will certainly enjoy our time here, great restaurant and ambience.
This is hands down one of the BEST steakhouses we have been to. Everything from the close line bacon appetizer, the steak, to the banana cotton candy was just beyond delicious. We liked it so much that we went back for lunch the next day and had the BEST hamburger & fries. David Burke really knows how to make a steak worth anyone's while.
This is one of my favorite restaurants that I like to try to go to a couple times during the year at the casino. I’ve always had good meals however this time the popover was not delicious and the meal took way too long to be delivered -we were there for almost 2 1/2 hours for a party of five. The steak was charred however the rest of the meal was adequate. I made a big deal about this restaurant to my friends and unfortunately due to the length of the meal and the popover-it just kind of changes the dynamic of the dining experience. Yes -the restaurant was busy but I expect that class and caliber of a restaurant to be able to handle volume on a Saturday night for an early dining service at 7:15. I will go back- not so sure my friends will though.
I’ve been to David Burke a number of occasions and the food definitely does not disappoint. You MUST order the Caesar salad, hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The sides and steaks are always delicious as well. My main issue with this trip was that the shrimp were just average and they had a very sweet ketchup like sauce covering them. When you are paying that much you expect everything to be excellent.
Came to celebrate my husbands birthday....We did the pre-fixe for $49. There were plenty of selections from the menu and the food was amazing . The restaurant was not cheap with their portions. The service was great and always a smile on their faces!! Would definitely recommend!!
I had a 630 reservation. Upon arrival the host attempted to seat us at a table for two, next to the service station. We requested another table and were seated in a semi private room overlooking the lobby. Better, but not ideal.
My girlfriend did not have an appetizer. I had the butternut squash soup which was absolutely out of this world. Highly recommended. My companion ordered the Scallop entree which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Kansas in bone Sirloin steak medium. First off, the steak was drastically undercooked after the edges were cut away. Secondly, it was a terrible cut of meat, veiny and beyond chewy. For a $70 Steak, it was horrendous. If for the fact that we were pressed for time because we were seeing a show, I would have returned it a ordered an entirely different cut. There are very limited supposed upscale dining areas at Foxwoods so you're extremely limited in your choice.
