Always look forward to a great dining experience At David Burke!!
Our food was great. Our server forgot we were there. We had to ask other servers if they were extremely busy on a Wednesday(which it didn’t seem) or it they were too low staffed. The server for our table who only took our drink order and gave us the bill was so absent it we strange. (Especially for people who work in the food service industry). It would have been nice if a manager came by to explain the situation.
Absolutely delicious! Perfect dinner with my husband!
Great steaks - tender, cooked perfectly. The wine list is fantastic and the sommelier made really great suggestions.
Although they don't have an official kids menu, they do have a few offerings for kids. My 5 year old daughter said it was the best chicken tenders she's ever had! That was in addition to the 2 orders of meatballs from the pre-fixe menu that she ate! Which brings me to another great point - they were very accommodating in allowing us to order the meatballs for her since they are only available through the pre-fixe menu. She took one bite of mine, then finished my order and asked for a second order!
The cotton candy is a fun way to end the meal and was a nice surprise for my daughter as well! If you typically shun cotton candy at fairs and amusement parks, I highly recommend you try it here!
I would not recommend David Burke-it appears that on the day I booked there was an issue with the kitchen, food was late, food was cold, presentation of food was weak and nt appealing. I do not think I could give this restaurant a second chance. I chose DB over Cedars, BIG MISTAKE! I truly felt sorry for our servers, jeremy and Joe, there are only so many apologies one can expect at a seating.
The atmosphere, service and the food was outstanding. It was definitely a 5 star experience.
My husband and I recently dined at David Burke for the first time. We were looking forward to a special dinner, but I’m sad to say our overall experience was a little underwhelming. First, we picked out a nice bottle of wine to pair with our dinner but hesitated when we realized we would only be getting a “half bottle” for the price. A sommelier was sent over to help, but made a face when we asked about Malbecs. As far as I know, a sommelier’s job is not to judge guests. When our dinner came, our steaks were switched. When I asked if they had been switched, the runner said no even though my husband had obviously been served the smaller filet. One of our sides dishes was also missing. When our waitress came over to check on us she told me she had not put in my side with the original order... I guess she didn't hear me order it?? At the end of the day, everything we were served was delicious, but it wouldn’t hurt them to offer better service and be kinder to their customers. Also, if you would prefer a more romantic ambience, the front of the restaurant is open to the casino. You should ask not to be seated in the entryway.
Steak is awesome
The service is always exceptional and they make us feel like we are a part of the family. The food is fresh and always delish!
Even though reservations were made well in advance, our table was for 6 instead of 4. Extra settings were never removed. Table was next to app station and we were constantly moved because of food carts. Wine came fast but too long until we ordered dinner. Caesar salad at table was delicious but then we were ignored and did not get dinner for 45 minutes. We had to ask where our dinner was. Bad table, loud atmosphere so we couldn’t hear server, ok food and for the price paid, we did not feel special only ignored. 😖
My wife and I had been to DB's once previously and enjoyed it a great deal. We returned this time for my birthday and were disappointed that it was not as good as we remembered. As a general statement, most of the food was good as were the drinks and the service. The seafood tower was excellent, just as it was on the previous occasion. My big disappointment, however, was with the steak which I understood to be what DB's is known for. In light of the price, I expected it to be on par with Mortons, Ruth's Chris, Del Frisco's, etc. I ordered the 18 oz. Kentucky ribeye. I understand that a ribeye does not have the same consistency as a filet but this was one of the toughest I'd ever eaten. I'd ordered it medium rare but asked that it be more on the rare side. It was closer to the medium side. Our waitress was very nice and rather than complain I had her put the steak, which I'd barely eaten, in a doggy bag. My dog and I had it for breakfast the following morning. He liked it much more than me. So although I very much wanted to put DB's on my list of favorite steakhouses, it will be more of a good seafood tower place. Yes, I would recommend DB's to a friend but not for the steak. Perhaps I'll give it another shot at steak sometime in the future. Doug and Tara Poulin.
Great service, terrific aged meat selection! The Kansas City was amazing! Truffle mouse topper had a bit too much sour tea and not enough truffle. Cotton candy that comes w/ your check is fun❣️
My wife and I were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary.
We totally enjoyed the service we received at David Burke's.
My wife's dinner of scallops was delicious. I was somewhat disappointment with my steak. The steak, and 18 oz ribeye, was fatty, therefore, I considered the restaurant to be pricey ($55 for the steak was not worth that price).
We will recommend to a friend, with the warning of the price.
Birthday, food good
Excellent food as well as service!! Definitely will be back!!!
The food was delicious. The service was great! Can't wait to go back.
The dining experience was excellent overall. Meals were served promptly. Service was very courteous. Only negative was the choice of music wasn’t exactly relaxing and was a bit loud for my liking. For fine dining I’d turn the volume down.
Service was outstanding as usual; been there many times the food very good. This time disappointed in prime rib Slice was smaller / thinner than usual
I have always enjoyed my dining experience at David Burke’s but I do have to complain about the steak I received tonight. I ordered a 45 day aged rib eye and it had more fat on than meat. I was very full from my appetizer that when my steak came I did not eat much of it. I brought the remainder home and to my surprise it was full of fat more than the actual meat. Even the center of the steak had more fat in it. I was very disappointed in it and felt it was not worth the money. The rest of my meal and service was awesome as usual
We often choose David Burke for steak craving on special occasions. The filet mignon is tender, very tasty and cooked exactly the way you like it. Unfortunately service wasn't great during this particular visit. After the main course, our waiter took my plate from my right and extended his arm in front of me to reach for the plate of my husband who was on my left! We also weren't asked how our meals tasted. Two waiters were serving our table and neither one came back in the middle of each course to ask how satisfied we were with our meal. The restaurant wasn't even busy! A bit disappointing from an upscale restaurant, but overall food is still good.
Good food and service. Was disappointed that we told them it was my son’s birthday on the open table app and when we were at the table, but they did not bring him the bday dessert or instead put a candle in the other dessert we ordered. The rest of our experience was good.
Was not the best experience the kitchen was overwhelmed because 4 tables including ours had to send back undercooked steak. When they brought steak back had to wait to get sides back halfway through the meal. At end recovered a little with a anniversary slice of cake
They forgot to bring a few stuff that we ordered, since I was on a tight schedule I didn’t say anything.
Made a reservation with OpenTable, we were seated at the time we choose, lots of staff, very attentive but not overbearing. We had the prime rib with baked and asparagus, also split a wedge that was outstanding! Thank You for a great dinner!
250 for 2 without wine. More expensive than Mortons without any of the food quality. Piped in pop/rock music. Priced for captive casino audience. No plan to return. Of note - superb service.
We had an amazing experience. We come every year for our anniversary and this year we could not have asked for a better time. We received a tour of the wine tower as well as an explanation as to where the wines are from and as to why certain selections are made. Ryan knows his stuff and is willing to suggest wines based on preference. We also received a tour of their kitchen and their salt room. It was more than we expected!
Big disappointment this visit. Filet came out well done instead of med rare. It was redone but took forever to return to the table when my friend was finisded eating and my potatoe was cold. I did not want it by that time so that went back. Bill was comped and the Manager was very nice but Birthday dinner was a mess. Unfortunately I will not return for quite awhile. By the way restaurant was not busy .
This restaurant is incredible!!! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect! I can't wait to go back!
Always great service, steaks, and outstanding g wine list !
On Mondays they offer a lobster menu that is excellent. They will take the lobster out of the shell for you also. The warm biscuit that starts of the experience is out of this world. The service was excellent. We were joined by friends and we all had a great time and enjoyed all the delicious meals.
The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I totally recommend this restaurant. Had a wide selection of wines. And I recommend getting the clothes line bacon!
I went to David Burke’s last Saturday night to celebrate my husband’s birthday with another couple and we had the worst experience. Not only did both couples have to get a babysitter for the night we left very disappointed. My husband steak had to be sent back three times for being extremely rare when we had asked for medium. Ths manager came over to give us a new steak on the 3rd attempt cooked well over medium. My husband was forced to eat alone since everyone else enjoyed their meal. To add insult to injury one of the people in my party asked for the leftovers to be boxed with almost there entire steak leftover as well as side dishes and they threw them away accidentally. At that point the manager came back over and said dessert was on him but we told them we did not want dessert as we had to drive home an hour away to relieve the babysitter. They made us wait and give us the desserts anyway to go, and did not take the to go steak or sides off of the bill. They took my husbands steak off the bill and we still paid $500 for a ruined night. Very disappointed in this “steakhouse” definitely not a fine dining experience.
Amazing experience! Celebrated my girlfriends birthday and notes on open table of the occasion and several staff members including the manager wished her a happy birthday without me having to mention it again. Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Overall amazing experience.
Superb in all aspects!!!
Always a pleasure eating at Burke’s ! Never a bad meal !
After we sat down took an hour to get food. Server apologized twice so acknowledged the wait, but was still pretty disappointing. On top of that, everyone else was served cotton candy at the end of their meal and we were told the machine stopped working by the time it was our turn.
Wouldn’t go back.
Excellent service great food and good time
We dined with you for a business meal. We had colleagues visiting from Slovenia who specifically asked for American Steak! We were horrified when his medium rare steak arrived medium! It was re-done, but we were still charged for it. We dine with you very often and this was very disappointing.
We had the Bnls Ribeye and I believe it was a select grade not choice. No taste. I am used to buying CAB ribeye at store and that tastes good.
