David Burke Prime at Foxwoods

We ordered off the "special" menu and asked to not have one of the sides due to unable to eat it and substitute with one of the sides (on the same menu) and was told no. I understand that it is a special menu but if a guest has an allergy they will substitute but if it's not an allergy and it IS a medical reason they will not. Simply did not care. Food was mediocre and would not recommend to friends and will not return.
WE had 2 of the best waitresses in the place. The made the experience fun and enjoyable.
For the most part, what one would reasonably expect from a fine- dining steakhouse experience. The food, service, and atmosphere is on par with similar. However, at a such an establishment one would also expect to be allowed to substitute a potato for a green veggie without being told "I cannot" by the waiter. I've never had a problem with such small requests at The Outback where the steak tastes just fine to me, and a full meal is essentially the cost of the tip at David Burke Prime. Just sayin'.
Nothing special, but the food was good. A little pricey.
Delicious food and great service, love the ribeye and the drunkin donuts were fantastic
Delicious food! Fabulous service! Amazing group of employees!
We have enjoyed many wonderful dinners at David Burke Prime and our last dining experience on Saturday, August 17 was just as wonderful. The food was exceptional and the service absolutely wonderful. Our team of servers, Julie H. and Jeff are the best ! Every time we have dinner at David Burke Prime, we request to be in Julie's section of the restaurant and are never disappointed. Having staff like Julie and Jeff make you want to come back time after time ! So accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu and wine offerings. Cannot wait to go back !
Mushy old risitto, undercooked and chewy ribeye, incorrect drinks, rubbery lobster, bacon was completely overcooked could not cut it.
My wife and I enjoyed our experience at David Burke Prime. When I first booked the reservation, I submitted a throw-away note when prompted if this was a special occasion on OpenTable. I wrote that it was our Anniversary. When we arrived at the restaurant we were immediately seated, and, to our surprise, several different staff members congratulated us on our Anniversary. They offered champagne to start the meal, and at the end of the meal they provided a fantastic dessert served on a chocolate embossed dish with the message, "Happy Anniversary". Needless to say, we were impressed with their service, and attention to detail. Our food was delicious, we each ordered a steak (when in Rome...). Each steak was prepared to our liking and satisfied our voracious appetites. Additionally, the Sommelier provided an excellent wine recommendation at our price point. Overall, we had a great experience, enjoyed the ambiance, and were happy with the quality and efficiency of service. I would strongly recommend David Burke Prime.
Service was good.
Food presentation was good.
Quality and subsequent value of “prime” meat was subpar
Love the food selections. Have been there a few times. We celebrated our 50th Anniversary and again this years 52nd. We missed last year. LOL. All in all everyone and everything was nothing but superb. Thank you to all your staff for giving us the most wonderful experiences year after year.
The food & service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Everything was outstanding. Great food from main course to side dishes, all outstanding. Service was top self. Team approach with all involved tending to every detail. I highly recommend this restaurant and would go again next time I'm at Foxwoods.
Loved the crab cake appetizer, Cesar salad and lobster mashed potatoes.
I purchased the 16oz filet, medium rare, and unfortunately it was a very dry. I did not mention it to my server, but I thought I would pass my opinion on just for your awareness. Perhaps a little melted butter on top would have brought out a bit more flavor and (juiciness) for lack of a better description, perhaps making the $59.00 filet more memorable.
Overall I love your restaurant, and will continue to visit, but I will probably make another meat selection next time.
Thank you, and I am truly sorry for having to provide a less than stellar rating.
Excellent! Never a disappointment! Always perfect!
Food was delicious. 30 day aged rib eye was spot on. Caesar salad was made at out table with perfection. Mac and Cheese was different with short ribs as a topping and was so filling. Had enough for a meal back to the room.
Parents 35th Wedding Anniversary
Very nice all around but for a high end steakhouse waitstaff was wish wash on recommendations around cuts of meet.
Dinner was a great experience. It started with the hostess, and then our waitress and everyone else who assisted at our table. The food was great! The popovers and cotton candy are a nice added touch. I went with my two adult children. They had a great experience as well. I made my reservation on Open Table that was great as well.
We were a last minute party of 8. When we arrived our table was ready and our service person was filling our water glass. We ordered drinks that were done just as requested. Two people asked for beer that was not available but the waiter ask the barback to go to a sister resturant to obtain and we had our favored beers. The Pittsburgh steaks were cooked perfect and a better evening couldn’t be imagined. The biggest surprise was that the bill was far less than expected!
Excellent food, very good service.
The Clothesline Bacon is AMAZING! Steve and Cody were excellent servers, made the experience even better.
For the quality and taste of food it was not worth our money or our time. The steak was all fat so we had few good pieces of actually meat. One meatball for $20 was not worth it. The free popover was the best part of the meal.
Had an amazing experience at David Burke! Went for my boyfriend’s birthday and the food we had was delicious...everything was cooked perfectly and the service was impeccable! Pam and Sarah were a great addition to our experience at David Burke. We will definitely be back!
Always a treat. Don't miss the Surf and Turf dumplings! This is the best restaurant at Foxwoods, IMHO!
I have been there multiple times.... very disappointed with overall food, ambience and especially service .. was embarrassed taking new friends
Not worth the money. I’ve had much better pieces of meat for a lot less. I expected the kind of quality that one would usually see at a top of the line steak restaurant. The steak was undercooked and not tender. When I sent it back, it was ruined. The wine prices are crazy too but I would have been fine with that if the meal was better. The side offerings were slim and not the best choices. The popover was good though. Service was mostly ok. I did get a free glass of wine since I barely ate my steak.
Our birthday celebration was wonderful! Highly recommend for your next visit to Foxwoods or a quick getaway!
the 2 women who took care of our table were excellent!
Excellent! The food was out of this world delicious! Our server was wonderful and checked on us numerous times throughout our meal to be sure we were okay & enjoying our meal. From appetizer to dessert, this was the highlight of our trip to Foxwoods! Excellent meal!
Foxwood's David Burke is no way near the experience that you enjoy in NYC. The drinks are way over priced, the wine list was ridiculously priced, with few choices below $100.00. I ordered a New York Strip $65.00, no sides, which they called a sirloin. It was tough. The waitress was OK, the food runners and others were great. The sides we ordered were decent, and the lobster bisque was great.
I was expecting a fine dining experience. It’s more like a chain steakhouse in a busy city. Waiter forgot sides, place was disorganized, food was just okay for a premium price. Go else where.
The biggest complaint was some of the food not all.
We ordered 2 40 day aged rib eye steaks both ordered medium one was MED one was almost raw.2 people ordered short ribs one was moist one was extremely dry.The staff was all very pleasant. The problem was the product coming out of the kitchen. For the price of dinner I expect higher quality.
Went Saturday night and half the tables left because kitchen was slammed. Our servers were great and it was not their fault. But the kitchen staff just couldnt handle the orders. had 6:30 reservation and left at 8 without eating.
Waiter convinced us to get appetizer stating the food would take awhile to come out...food ends up coming out all at once plus the additional appetizer we didn’t need that ended up going to waste. Steak was decent but I’ve certainly had better steak for that price...sides were good though..
Worst experience in a restaurant in many years. We were going to an 8 pm show in the same building and arrived at 6:15. Our food arrived at 7:40. Each time we inquired about the status, we were told that “the kitchen is backed up,” among other excuses. If you can not accommodate the size of the restaurant, add people or shrink the place. We did not make the start of the show. Very high aggravation level. Go to this restaurant at your peril.
Too big, too noisy by far, ambiance strictly "huge rooms." The T-bones we both had were mediocre, filet better than the sirloin. They seem to be going for turnover and volume, not a special dining experience.
Called yesterday to speak to a manager and still no call back
Was really disappointed with this place. Expected high quality steaks but instead got expensive steaks that weren't very good. I understand how ribeyes have a lot of marbling but what they served was ridiculous. About 40% of the steak was pure fat...had a mound of fat on the plate. My son's steak had the same issue. The guy at the table next to me ordered the Prime Rib. It was a VERY thin cut piece of meat and almost half of it was solid white fat. He looked at it for a few minutes deciding if he should send it back. And if you order the wedge salad, you have to pay extra for bacon. Since when is bacon optional on a wedge salad?
Foxwoods is REALLY hurting for quality restaurants and David Burke's was the final straw. Mohegan is MUCH better for food options and it will be my first choice for CT casinos going forward.
My service was amazing. Loved the popovers. So great
