Love this place. Been coming here for years and it's always solid food and great drinks.

Love the food. I would describe it as "modern Italian" but there are enough traditional Italian options (like cacio e pepe, bruschetta, pizza) to satisfy anyone. Our server (Joanna) was fantastic. She made our visit even better.

I went here with a group of my girlfriends for my birthday and the experience was unforgettable. The manager was there that night and did an amazing job of accommodating us and taking care of anything we needed. The wine and food were absolutely amazing!!! We will definitely be back again!

I have been going to Davanti Enoteca since 2013 and have always loved it....particularly the polenta with ragu which I bought at this visit for my two friends who had never enjoyed it....however, this time I ordered the Limoncello chicken which was just okay....all was fine except the chicken was no juicy or moist but a tad bit overcooked so that was a shame. I did love the citrusy sauce but I wish the chicken had been poached so that it could better absorb the sauce.

This place came as a recommendation for dinner while visiting San Diego. My two teenage kids loved the food! We all had delicious dishes and everything tasted so fresh. Service was friendly and excellent. We enjoyed sitting out back. We hope to eat there again when we visit SD again in the future!

We had an incredible meal celebrating my son's engagement in a private outdoor room. It was perfect!

We sat outside in the newly expanded exterior dining area and it was just like being in a piazza in Italy. The food was so good and the drinks and the atmosphere. A fantastic night. We will be back.

Great food. Their Orecchiette con Salsiccia is one of my favorite pasta dishes I have ever tried on 5 continents! I can’t make myself order something different no matter how hard I try. Good value. We really enjoy the courtyard seating when it’s available.

Waiter was terrible. Food came out staggered...by a lot breakfast cools quickly. First two orders came out 25 minutes after ordering, next came pancakes 10 minutes later, and the 4th breakfast came out 20 minutes later!
Food was great even though one was not what was ordered, but we couldn’t risk a do over. Never refilled drinks, or asked. Sausage was disgusting frankly. Tasted like old sausage smothered in a terrible sauce with olives to disguise taste. Not described as such on menu. Looks like they need a better kitchen manager to teach timing.

Scott was amazing with his energy and recommendations. The food was amazing and very well priced. Highly recommend the focaccia. Thank you for a great evening!

Have dined at Davanti many times and this was another perfect evening to celebrate my wife's birthday. Delicious.

They have a good happy hour deal that we enjoy! We have been several times despite not being from San Diego and just visiting.
Have never eaten indoors so can only speak to the outside patio, which we enjoyed more when the road was pedestrian on weekends.
Still, it's a very good happy hour deal and always busy!

I think my servers name was Joanne. She was great and we connected over my family being from Poland and the Czech rep. Great service and just really friendly and personable. Food is always delicious here

Great as always!! I miss the shaved brussel sprouts and would love them back on the menu as well as the butternut squash and farro dish with honey and goat cheese. The sea bass was awesome this time!!

Everything was wonderful! The back patio had just opened and it was warm and cozy. Loved all the murals, trees, etc. Nice Happy Hour too!

An Italian restaurant should get pasta al dente right the first time but when they aren’t able to get if right after a send back ( still undercooked) then there is a problem in the kitchen. Service was good but kitchen needs work.

Busy Sunday, service a little slow (15 minutes until we asked if someone could take our order) but nice. Food was great, liked the outdoor patio.

Our server forgot to put our pizza order in, then instead of checking on us she deliberately avoided us or correcting the situation, instead said the pizza just takes longer. My boyfriends pasta was served 20 min before mine. The pizza was rushed and came out Undercooked, which we had to send back to be cooked longer. Her service was the issue, never once tried to make things better and left us waiting with zero communication. Will not be returning

Love this place! This was my second time coming. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a quality dining experience to celebrate or to impress a date.
