The customer service is outstanding, food is excellent and ambiance is great!
I LOVE this restaurant.
Davani's is our go to "special occasion" place. The food is excellent and consistent each time we go there.
Great meal, dessert, service, ambiance. We’ll be back.
Wonderful. Everything is excellent
Good food, good service. Rocky suggested a most tasty wine.
Overall a most pleasant dining experience. Plan to return soon.
This was our first evening at Davani's. We enjoy dining out and will certainly visit it again. The service was excellent, as was the dinner and the noise level was better than most.
Our first visit and we loved it! Will definitely be a favorite, particularly for a special occasion. Thank you for a delightful experience.
Amazing food and great customer service. I do wish there was a little more lighting.
Had dinner here with friends. We ordered chicken francese, spaghetti with white clam sauce, and rack of lamb. Everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. Fine dining at its best.
Food was outstanding! A Greenville treasure! Thanks to Rocky & Stephanie for making each meal a celebration. Welcome Autmn to the Danani family!
Love, everything except the cold draft by the door
Loved it! Will be back for sure.
We had an excellent meal!
Food, ambience, noise level all top-shelf! Will be definitely eating here again!
Our waiter was outstanding! Food was very good. We were a little disappointed because it was my Mom’s birthday and we requested a booth but didn’t get one. And they didn’t have her favorite wine, which is moscato. That’s kind of weird because it is an Italian dessert wine... And they didn’t acknowledge her birthday at all... otherwise it was ok.
Best Italian we have had in Greenville.
Great experience every time we go. Absolutely love this place.
Service was spot on with timely delivery of food and beverage, a good crowd but not too loud. I guess I must be getting older but it is a bit dark to read the menu without help from the phone but that is the style and atmosphere there. Food was very nice.
Great restaurant with a wonderful, cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious! And the room temperature was very comfortable...not so cold that you feel uncomfortable like most restaurants! We will definitely be back again!
A great evening.
Very nice dinner, salad and entrees were very good and we especially liked dessert!
Valentines Day Menu offered good selections and reasonable costs for three course meals
As good as any restaurant in the Greenville area...highly recommend
We have been to Davani”s many times and have always had a wonderful dinner. I ordered the fish special and it was not good. Was greasy and I was disappointed. We went the night before valentines so that we wouldn’t have a wait but the cook was definitely not good. We appreciate all the times the food was amazing. Our service was outstanding and he couldn’t have done anything more. Awesome service.
Davani’s is an excellent restaurant, with great Italian pastas, osso bucco, veal parmigiana or marsala, as well as crab cakes, duck breast, and steaks. I highly recommend the smoked trout appetizer! The wine list ranges from inexpensive to Rocky’s off-list bottles for special occasions. The restaurant interior is quiet, they have a great bar as well as a private room for events. Having dinner downtown is great, but locals should all experience Davani’s for its food and very personal service. Highly recommended.
We had a great time. Waiter was super.
Entrees were mediocre at best. I had a Manhattan that was watered down. The owner was rude as hell to someone who asked him to lower the musak. "We don't set the music for one customer.".
We made a last minute decision to dine here! We are so glad that we did. The food and service were excellent!!! We plan on returning soon!
One of the best pork ribeyes I have ever had. Jennifer is great - ask for her. The chicken park and cannelloni are fantastic as well
Great service and delicious food. Great place to celebrate our anniversary!
This restaurant was very disappointing. The food was not great. First and foremost, everything except the bread had too much sugar in it. The spaghetti sauce had a nice tang on the first bite, but quickly tasted like they added too much sugar. The chicken Marsala my friend ate was way too sweet! I ordered a 'to go' meal of the Marsala and requested that the chef omit the sugar. It was much better. The noodles are homemade and I was looking forward to that, but the cannelloni I ordered was so overcooked and dry it was nearly impossible to cut into edible bites. It had the texture and flavor of something that had been kept in the oven way too long. The service was great. The ambiance was really nice and it was fairly quiet, but that may be because it was nearly empty. I live an hour away, so I would likely not go out of my way to eat there again. Maybe they just had a bad night. The owner is not Italian. I'm Sicilian from a very Italian/Greek locale in Michigan and my experience is that only true Italians can cook real Italian food, everything else is someone's interpretation of it. This was definitely an interpretive Italian meal. Such has been my experience in South Carolina. Enough with the sugar already!
We went for dinner while in town and while the server was very nice, we waited a very long time for dinner. When it finally arrived the fish had a very dry texture to it as though it been microwaved to heat it back up. The pasta AND the fish was extremely salty, as well. The manager, I suppose it was the manager, would walk up and down the aisle chatting with people and failed to stop at ours. Perhaps he only chats with regulars or people he knows and gives personal attention so that their meals are prepared nicely and arrive in a timely manner. He was with the original server when our dinner was served to us, and not a word was uttered by way of an apology for such a delay in our food's arrival.
Had International guests in town and Davanis delivered. The food and Rocky’s wine recommendation were spot on. Great service and table for 4 that allowed us to relax and enjoy conversation. Will be back often
Davani's is always a favorite for us. Ricky and Stephanie run this place like a well oiled machine, and they always make us feel welcome. The waitstaff are efficient and attentive without being annoying. The food is outstanding. We've never been dissatisfied with the food.
Had a dear friend visiting from out of town.
Great food, inventive chef, great service, owners and staff very friendly. Inviting, relaxed. What could be better?
Truly enjoyed the service and taste of the food. We will definitely go back.
My boyfriend and I went for an anniversary dinner. It was fairly packed so the wait time was a little longer than I'd like. The other three couples in line all had reservations as well, so it took about 10-15 minutes for the hostess to get to us. It is a very quiet and dark restaurant so it would be good for a romantic date. Again, the wait time was a little less than desirable but we managed. There aren't a lot of vegetarian options, but that's just my opinion. Overall, for $55+tip it was a nice night.
Outstanding in every way -- the food, the service, the ambiance. Davani's is our favorite for special occasions!
Great as always!
