It is very disappointing that this restaurant is closing. It is a favorite destination for us during the summer months because of the location and the good food. The lobster rolls and the seafood trio are favorites of ours on the summer menu. We'll miss spending relaxing summer Sundays on the patio overlooking the river and the marina.

It was great except that we were seated by a very cold door. We should have asked to be moved.

This was our first time having dinner there. Service was ok. Food... not good. Neither my husband nor myself liked our meals. That is very unusual for us. We are not picky folks. I could overlook bad service if the food is good or I could overlook ugh atmosphere if the food is good...but when the food is not good--well that's that.

The staff was the friendliest that we've experienced in a long time.
There a lot to choose from on the menu.

The Mediteranian Salad was excellent as usual and the price was right. The waitress was good enough when she was there but not readily available. The noise was loud for a bit but then quieted down. Overall experience was very good.

I really enjoyed having lunch at the Danvers port Yachtclub. I know the food is going to be delicious and freshly prepared, and the room is very lovely. I was very disappointed to learn that it was closing coming this April.

We had a fantastic holiday luncheon, and the food was delicious! Best of all was our server, a lovely young woman who went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed. We will definitely be back very soon!

The food was good. Good value. Waitress friendly and efficient. However, ambience mediocre to poor. We were in the basement dining room. It was dark and dated. Is in need of a facelift. This past summer we ate outside and enjoyed the view. Much more pleasant.

Service was very good. Everyone from reception to waitress is warm and friendly. No wait to be seated. This is standard New England style comfort food. Good ,filling food but presentation needs improvement. Bread was microwaved warm so once it cools it's not so good. Salad obviously prepared ahead of time and a bit wilty. Steak a bit overdone but not so much you would send it back. While the serving portions are generous the food is just nothing to rave about and we want to rave. While we would return and give it a second chance, this is definitely not someplace that would be on the top of our list.

The food and ambience was very good and the noise level surprisingly moderate given that we were sitting near two large >5 or 6 parties. My party had vision impaired members and I had asked for a well lit table during reservation. Danversport really accommodated my desire (when most places can't or don't)--this I really, really appreciate. Thank you!

Didn't know what to expect, when I booked seats at the yacht club. We had a family get together and it's in a convenient location. We all were pleasantly surprised, just loved it. Very nice service, excellent food, a variety of choices at reasonable prices. The boats in the harbor was an really awesome view. Highly recommend. Thank you Danversport club for a great wonderful dinning experience.

We have been here before. It was our anniversary and we had a reservation. However, we didn't get acknowledged by our waitress for at least 15 minutes. I know she was busy but she never once came over and said she would be with us shortly. Several other waitresses asked us if we had been waited on. One even brought us some water. Once our waitress did get to us she was very good but we were very disappointed in the wait especially on our anniversary. We should have been offered a free beverage or dessert for the inconvenience.

Great time - good food, wonderful waitress, overall nice setting. The one comment/suggestion I would make - the lights are turned up too much. You could increase the ambiance by lowering them some.

I stumbled across this place when looking on-line. I was meeting someone for dinner and looking for a mid-point to meet and so glad we found this place. We enjoyed our dinner outside which was lovely. The food and service was was very good. Although I live 30 minutes from Danvers, I will for sure come back and try it at lunch time.

We dined outside and it was a very pleasant experience. I have been to numerous private functions at the Yacht Club but this was the first time as just a public customer. My friend and I were very impressed. The food was excellent as was the service. We enjoyed walking around the nautical setting and seeing all the boats. Nice!

PROS:
Sat at a table outside overlooking the water and boats, that was nice.
Food was fairly good.

CONS:
The waitress was nice, but she seemed very busy, couldn't get to all of her tables in a timely manner, you could see the diners at the other tables getting frustrated with the lack of service. Then when she did come to our table, she either forgot an item, or she just didn't seem very professional as a waitress.

When I'm paying $30 for an appetizer and entree, I would expect nicer/prompt service.

Overall I would say that they need to train their waitstaff to be more professional.

We usually eat lunch at Danversport before our show at North Shore Music Theater.
We have been doing this for a few years, and no one has ever been disappointed. The discount is an incentive, but the food is always fabulous !! We are pleased with our servers and we are at the theater in plenty of time . We are a party of 7, and we will continue to go to Danversport every season.

I love the Danversport Grill when it is possible to eat outside. My only wish is that the tables closest to the water would be made available for those eating there. In the times I have been there they have been reserved for other events. Inside dining at the grill is not as nice. The food is good and the waitstaff very good.

Service was initially delayed so sat for at least ten minutes at table before anyone came over. After that service improved. Food was nothing special. The ribs ordered were not well received by one of us at the table and therefore most were left on the plate. Overall the entrees were average.
