Dante's Fire Cocktails and Cuisine
I love Dante's Fire! It had been way too long since our last visit for no particular reason and I'd forgotten how much I love this place! If you like tasty, creative food and hand crafted cocktails in an unpretentious, comfortable environment, this place is for you! I never know what to order because I want to order everything. This time we narrowed it down to Chicken Marsala for my husband and a dish with foie gras and mushroom risotto for me. Absolutely delicious! We won't wait so long to go back...I need to work my way through their seasonally changing menu!
My wife loved her Salmon. I chose badly as is my tendency and had the Lobster Canalones with mushroom thermador. I'm normally ambivalent to mushroom, but these were very strong tasting and overwhelmed the lobster to the point that I could not taste any lobster, if indeed it was there.
On a previous visit I had the Thai shrimp which was excellent.
Service was not overly attentive, which is how I like it.
The noise level is very high in this restaurant. Fortunately, we were able to get a seat in the back where the sound level was acceptable.
Great burger and amazing service, price was even better on Thursday burger night
My wife and I ordered Fish Tacos.
They were TO Small! Our waiter, I believe Jeff was his name, was the best part of the evening.
All entrees sampled by our group were delicious. The cocktails were creative and tasty.
Food was fabulous! They make their own pasta and it is a highlight. Our waiter was friendly attentive and showed up when needed
The food was great. And so was the service. Very friendly staff.
2nd time we have gone there! Outstanding food and outstanding service! Would highly recommend!
Amazing food and creative cocktails! Tried escargot for the 1st time and it was delicious!!
Wonderful, friendly, spot with excellent food, some small plates and good service. Prices are excellent value.
The creative dishes always bring me back. For my two friends, this was their first visit. They were impressed with the great flavors.
The food was amazing from the mixed green salad with orange vinaigrette to the Mussels to the Wine!
I had heard good things about Dante's Fire so I made a reservation the day we wanted to go. When we arrived they said they didn't honor reservations if they were made before they opened that day so we waited for 30-40 minutes for a table. Once we sat, the service was terrible. They were obviously short staffed and and it look a ridiculous amount of time to even get water. When the food finally arrived, one of my friends ordered the foie gras, a rather expensive dish. It looked like leather and the portion was only about 1 in x 2 in in size. The rest of the food we ordered was very good. On top of the terrible service, the restaurant was HOT. Like SO INCREDIBLY HOT. At least it lived up to its name.
Great food and signature cocktails. Perfect for a casual night out.
Everything was great -we had an air vent near us which made us a little cold but very cool vibe otherwise. I was there with my 17 year old -I could see it as a cool place to meet friends.
Dinner at Dante's Fire was great - thank you for making Mother's Day special!
Like the menu, food quality exceeds our initial expectation. Service is acceptable; but not strong point. Drink service seems slow at dining tables. Love the food and excellent price/value relationship.
My family went there for Mother's Day. The food was all delicious. The only drawback was the blackened catfish was very salty, but had good flavor. The bottomless mimosas were a lovely touch. I was very pleased with the food and the wait staff were amazingly attentive without being intrusive. Well worth the visit.
Delicious food. Great service
It's nice to go to a place where the staff is so knowledgeable and on top of everything!
The waiter was very helpful and attentive . Liked the variety of food choices
I made us a reservation, but the place was not full enough to make it necessary. The service was wonderful, our waitress was very attentive. I had the Dill salmon, the husband had the chicken salad sliders. The salmon its self was good but you had to fish it out of this thick heavy cream sauce. It was drowning in the sauce and in the risotto which had its heavy sauce. It was practically a soup. My husband liked the chicken sliders but they were nothing he or I would go seek out again. We may try it again down the road, but we were not overly impressed and excited to try it again.
This was our third time and we love this restaurant! Kimberly and Jeff were our servers and they are great! Love everything on the menu! So very affordable! One of our new FAV places in Tucson!
Mahi mahi a little tough. Other's thought the food good but nothing special.
Once again we enjoyed an outstanding meal at Dante’s Fire. The Thai Curry Shrimp and Parpadelle Diablo were delicious. Our cocktails, Cucumber Martini and Slow your Roll, were well crafted. The Adult S’More is always a hit.
Excellent choice for our Easter brunch. We were shocked that there wasn't a line around the block, since this was such a fantastic and reasonable brunch offering. We will definitely be returning, absolutely perfect experience!
The staff was amazing! Kimberly our server was phenomenal! The lamb was tough😔. Most of the other food was spot on, though.
Overall the experience was average. Not saying that means it was bad though. If you want to eat where the licals eat, this is great for that. After theater is also a good time as they serve their full menu up until 2 AM!
Casual bar-type restaurant with great service and not your run-of-the-mill menu. I would definitely go back for more!
Very accommodating. Everyone liked the food and service
Best hidden gem in Tucson. Amazing fresh food made on the premises. Great food and very reasonable.
The jalapeño poppers were amazing!!
The best starter: jalapeños
The combination of flavors is wonderful.
The breads: fresh
Dante’s serves the bread with flavored butter. The red pepper butter is great.
I had the fish tacos.
Very good food and great service. Will make this a regular place to go!
We had a great experience. Our server was hilarious and very attentive. The food was excellent and he wine we were recommended was great.
Food was wonderful, service was poor unfortunately. Lighting as table terrible, could not read the menus. Maybe the lighting was not an issue at other spots in the room, but we were in the front cubbie table and could not see the menu, had to use the lights on our phones! So if not in any hurry and don't mind waiting awhile for your drinks then go because the food was very good.
Visiting from out of town. Great food and Roger was a great waiter.
Great food and cocktails. Service was excellent. The stuffed jalapeños are fabulous.
There is a very creative menu with combinations of food that most restaurants would not try. They pull it off very well. The prices are reasonable and there are enough choices to satisfy most people. Worth a visit to try their menu.
As usual, a great location for our 59th wedding anniversary. The only suggestion as regards the Clam Chowder.............. serve the clams-on-the-half-shell on a separate plate rather than in the chowder (it was kind of messy to handle). They were served separate on our last visit.
