One of the best Italian meals I had. We found ourselves in a room of about 7 tables to which none were taken all night except for ours. Not sure if that was a slow night or my "quiet table" request, but it was great to have a quiet evening and lots of privacy-especially on a first date.
The staff was attentive, but not too much and gave us just the amount of time between meals without ever feeling rushed or like they forgot about us.
THIS PLACE IS ALWAYS GREAT. We have been here many times, and will continue to go.
Thank you for the good food and great service yesterday! I will be back!
Very good restaurant with nice service.
Superb, and excellent atmosphere. Incredible food, authentic and so tasty. Elegant setting, went for Valentine's dau
I love the quaint dining area upstairs ... and the food was great!
The service and atmosphere was excellent, however, the food was bland and boring.
We go regularly. Always enjoy. I asked for a veal dish they did not have on the menu and they made it for me. It was excellent.
A wonderful Valentine's lunch ... delicious food, friendly and attentive service and a warm, beautiful decor. 💝
My wife and I enjoyed a delicious and elegant dinner on a Friday evening. She had the lobster Cleopatra and I had the veal chop. The veal chop was the best veal chop I had ever had, which explains why they are so famous. My wife loved her lobster Cleopatra. The lobster bisque is excellent, as is the tiramisu. My highest recommendation!!
Great food. Great service.
Dante Ristorante was housed in what looked like a former mansion. So that was different. Once inside the hostess seated us in less than five minutes (and when I said my name in response to the reservation request he was expecting me and my fiancée!).
The server was very nice and orderly. The food was very good, as I had the fettuccini and my fiancée had the swordfish. The desserts were delicious, as well.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends, as the place was cozy, easy to get to, and was very good.
Good food and private rooms to eat in. Good service and great dessert.
The waiter did not know much about the wine list, and some of our food was better than others. We generally have really good meals here, so hopefully this was a fluke!
So glad we dined at Dante’s. It’s been too long since we were there! We enjoyed the yummy food and delicious bread! The swordfish was excellent and my friend enjoyed the crab, avacado and tomato tower.
Found restaurant by accident but have since enjoyed three meals there. Food and service both excellent. Highly recommend.
Excellent dinners: swordfish, wild boar and rockfish with crabmeat + $30 bottle of Italian Pinot Noir plus 1 coffee, 1 tea and 1 cappucuno. Bill was $125. Very Attentive service.
Great service, great meal in a very charming environment.
We had such an awesome experience. The restaurant looks beautiful from the outside, not to mention the outstanding ambiance inside fit for special occasions.
Excellent restaurant. We really enjoyed our dinner!
My husband and I brought another couple here for dinner. We had been here before, they had
not. All of us really enjoyed our meal. This is a lovely restaurant to sit back, relax and have a
great meal. We all will definitely be coming back. The only complaint was the $12.00 charge my
friend had for a drink she ordered, which I think was not on the drink menu, which, therefore,
did not have a set charge. We did not say anything but it does fall in the category of not being
really fair to the customer. Next time we will come right out and ask what the cost is. Not to sound cheap, but fair is fair.
Excellent food, great wine recommendations, service was very attentive, would go back and highly recommend.
Good job. Keep up the good work. My wife and I had a wonderful time.
Had a lovely lunch on a recent bitter cold day in January. Service was friendly, food very good, atmosphere inviting and elegant. Would definitely return.
Our 2nd. New Year's here and we enjoyed it very much. Food was excellent as was the service!
My husband and I celebrated our 46th anniversary with a very nice dinner at Dante. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was quiet and good for conversation. Our waiter was friendly but not intrusive; the service was just what we would hope for at an upscale restaurant. Prices make Dante a special occasion restaurant for us, but we will definitely return in the future.
Having separate dining rooms in the mansion-turned restaurant was interesting, but there were too many tables in our dining room. It felt claustrophobic and our dining table and chairs were uncomfortable; the music was virtually non-existent, so we could hear just about everything other diners were discussing. We probably should have left after being seated, but we kept hoping that things would get better and they did not.
The waitress was cordial but not friendly and acted like she did not really need our business. We chose to check out Dante Ristorante due to it being in the top 10 of the OpenTable rating; we will have second thoughts about OpenTable ratings in the future.
The only problem we ever encounter with this restaurant is seat placement. We do not like the upstairs. And, that is where they wanted to put us. It is just not the same dining experience as downstairs. And, as it turned out, there was a small child leaving with parents from upstairs as we left who was quiet vocal. That would not have been a pleasant dining experience! I think I know from now on when I make a reservation to request downstairs only!
Love this place. The staff are very professional and friendly. The food was great.
We will certainly return to Dante's again. The venue is a lovely converted victorian mansion that has retained as much of the character and charm as possible. Service was very personable and this feels exactly as it should - a family owned and run restaurant where people genuinely care.
