Fabulous! The best meal we have had in Cle in many months!! I wish it were open more often!
Delicious food and wonderful service! Always a great experience here!
The food was poorly seasoned and to be honest just terrible! Nothing had flavor. The pizza and burger were downright terrible!! My brothers said it was the worst burger they've ever had. Overpriced. Overrated. Disappointing. I will never be back and would tell others not to bother.
Duck fat potatoes were great!
We went for brunch before seeing a matinee performance of Hamilton. We were seated in the garden - lovely! Food was very good and very generous portions.
The food was exceptional. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, her go to dish and said b.c all other dishes will now be judged by this standard.
I had the pasta carbonara frittata. An unusual dish, but delicious.
The maple bacon was great, but skip the duck fat potatoes.
Snakes salmon bagel pizza was amazing!
Love Dante's restaurants! Dante's Next Door is great for brunch or lunch. Food us always fresh and imaginative.
Brunch was perfect - every dish was delicious, the carbonara frittata was a favorite!
Always impeccable service and wonderful flavorful food! Plus we never are made to feel rushed.
Great experience. Music was a little too loud and had to yell to carry a conversation at the table. Food was excellent
The venue, atmosphere, service, food was all excellent! I never had shrimp & grits the way it was prepared with red sauce before....delicious! I without hesitation recommend this restaurant. Parking however can be a challenge.
Love Dante Next Door! Family get-together for Father’s Day and the Menu has a selection to please everyone, lots of variety. The service was excellent.
Father’s Day brunch
Food was delicious! Service was great-Thank you Tia! Also, there is a small parking lot right next to the restaurant.
I had the cinnamon waffle with caramelized apples. We also ordered eggs, bacon, home fries, and pastries our table, to share. I really liked that you can order family-style sides for the table. It gives you the freedom to order something specialized (burger, waffle, etc.), while not missing out on those classic comfort breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, etc).
My only complaint is that the music was suddenly cranked up really loud a little after we arrived. I believe it was to cover the sound bleed of a band in another part of the building. But, the result was that it took away from the calm, welcoming environment.
Note, they cannot serve alcohol until 11. So you may have to wait for a delicious Bloody Mary or Bellini if you arrive at 10:30. Food and service were great as always.
Service is always great, good food and good value; very nice ambience too. Good place to take special family and friends.
Service was exceptional, food was delicious but not the best brunch I’ve ever had. Small selection for picky eaters. Not a lot of healthy options.
This restaurant served delicious, top notch food! Our server John was extremely gracious and made us feel like royalty! Fabulous Sunday brunch! We will definitely be back!!!
Great place. Best Bloody Mary we’ve had in a will, food was outstanding as was service by John. We’ll be back.
The salmon everything bagel pizza was delicious! And my cocktail was awesome!
Service was excellent as always! Wait staff is very attentive and pleasant.
We came in for Brunch and we were so impressed we will be back again.
We really enjoyed the brunch !
Great neighborhood place. Food was outstanding and service grear. We love all of Dante's venues.
Our service was spectacular. The young girl who waited on us was incredibly pleasant, kind, and attentive to our needs. Everyone who stopped by was friendly and as always, the food was great.
An unusual experience for a Dante restaurant. Poor attention from hostess station to service staff. The service person did not know what ingredients were called. They were overwhelmed with lack of knowledge of what was available and the number of diners they were responsible for. Had to leave our table several times to get answers to our food and beverage questions ( which were simple, like what kind of beer do you have?) . The wrong food was brought to table, no checking back etc...
Great experience, parents running late and they were still able to accommodate us. John was a great server and excellent representation of DND. Picked up pretty quick after we sat down. Will go back for sure, lots of excellent drink choices and food menu is drool worthy! Parking lot was full when we got there, but lots of parking on nearby streets. Crab cake benedict was superb, other entrees were specials - also very good!
Dante’s Next Door is just as fabulous as Dante’s. We celebrated a birthday, had another wonderful meal and the staff was attentive and professional. Can’t wait to go back!
There where seats at Dante’s next door. However they sat us at Dante’s. Only table of people in that restaraunt. Service was horrible, 2 breakfasts where Luke warm at best, the other 3 where hot but the last one came out 15 minutes after the other 2. I think they totally forgot about us. Good thing we have eaten there often. If not I would never go back.
Food was decent and the brunch cocktails were good, but not nearly worth the money. $77 for 4 Mamosas and 2 omelettes seems like NYC or Ritz prices, not Tremont. If the price were half as much I would highly recommend, but that’s just astronomical I’m my opinion.
The food and atmosphere of this place is great, albeit a little loud. My one complaint is the service. Our waitress took our drink order and then disappeared for 25-30 minutes. She then brought out only one drink, a French press, but negligented to bring out the simple orange juice and coffee with it. Our poor table mates waited even longer for their drinks and were finished before we even ordered our food. Please improve this, the food is too good for such mediocre service.
Hands down absolutely the best brunch in CLE! The menu and the staff are exceptionally outstanding!
This was my second time to Dante Next Door. My husband and I had a brunch date since we were kid free. Service was fantastic. Sharia took great care of us. The bar was full so I ordered a coffee on top of my Spicy olive cocktail assuming it would take a while to get my drink, but nope I was pleasantly surprised that it came out rather quickly. My husband and I split a pot of their French pressed coffee which Shatia pressed table side and it stayed warm for the entire hour that it took to finish.
There were 2 omelets of the day and my husband and I each had one of them along with the hash of the day. The omelets came with a small side salad, which I was pleasantly surprised as the vegetables were unique and cut very intricately. The portion size was perfect. We ended up taking half of the hash home and some fresh pastry.
Later in the afternoon we indulged on the pastry and it was delicious as well!
Great food and ambiance! Wonderful wait staff. Excellent coffee
Very disappointing service. Food was cold and they did not honor the requests of 2 guests at the table for sauce on the side.
Dante Next Door was the perfect place to take my fairly picky eating family for my birthday Saturday brunch! My husband and I were able to enjoy the creative culinary creations that Dante is so famous for and our kids found items that they could enjoy as well. We tend to have a difficult time finding a restaurant that pleases everyone in the family but Dante Next Door successfully mastered it! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their orders, from something as simple as scrambled eggs to the more elaborate lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes, bananas foster French toast, and the crab cake eggs benedict. The complementary basket of baked pastries including softball sized pecan rolls was a huge hit as well! Our server was very attentive to our needs and kept our glasses refilled as needed and was sure to clear dishes we were finished with as we were done with them. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
The food was good however we were seated in the corner directly under a speaker. We asked to have the music turned down which they did but then it was turned back up. The restaurant was fairly empty so I am not sure why they insisted on having the music so loud. It was hard to hear the conversation at the table which kind of put a damper on the experience.
