The three course fixed price dinner was delicious!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent!
Dinner was nice, but nothing special. Conservatory is very pretty, but chairs are old and uncomfortable. They need new cushions. The host was aware of this problem. Lighting was inadequate. Saw people using their phone flashlights to read the menu. Wait staff was fine, but was not offered the early evening menu. Our meals were good and portions were fine. But won’t rush back anytime soon.
Have been here many times and always have had very good results(food, service, etc.)
Service was disappointing, which is unusual. I believe our server was just super busy, but that shouldn't be my problem. Food was very good. Cocktail not so much - I honestly don't think I got the top shelf vodka I asked for.
i have been going to the Dan:l WEBSTER FOR MANY YEARS AND ALWAYS LOOK FOWARD TO GOING BACK no matter what the occasion may be.
Great atmosphere expected food to be better. Crabcakes were small. Lobster salad a little dry.
Wonderful. However it was a little on the dark side and difficult to read the menus. Other than that, perfect.
Always a great meal at Daniel Webster!!! Staff is attentive and friendly. I love at view of the atrium too!
Another wonderful experience at the Danl Webster Inn. I travel regularly across the country and there really is no other place like it - the feel of an 18th century inn with attentive but folksy service and terrific dining offerings rooted deep in New England and Cape Cod heritage. Joanne did a fantastic job and Shane and crew there to provide welcoming hospitality and quick seating. Do not pass this place by°°
Delicious food and excellent service. Lovely upscale atmosphere in the dining room and very cozy and casual atmosphere in the rustic Tavern, complete with fireplace. Highly recommend
I haven't been to the DWI in 30 years. It was a perfect spot for a romantic dinner. We sat by the fireplace in the waiting area before our table was ready. It had a ski lodge feel, comfortable and familiar.
Not impressed. Food was only mediocre tasting, nothing special which was what I was expecting for the price.
We often go to the Dan’l Webster for breakfast. It’s a great bargain with a terrific ambience, great new menu, and wonderful service. You were always greeted when you arrive with a smile.
Never have disappointed us. Excelent service and dinner menu
The waitress was exceptional, personable, efficient, patient.
The breakfast was excellent.
Great experience - nice decore - server was amazing - all the food was terrific — ! Already planning our NEXT visit !! Highly recommended ....
Excellent experience. The dining room was most comfortable, coupled with excellent service. The price-fixe menu provided very good value and food. Selections were varied and well presented. Will definitely go again.
How unfortunate that this once very good restaurant has continued to go steadily downhill over the years. So extremely disappointed in this past experience so, it will be our last. A bill in excess of $400 and the prime rib was like shoe leather, the filet was not even tender, the asparagus tough.. The wait staff was marginal and after placing drink orders, we waited 15 minutes before they were even delivered, literally! And, even before the dining experience, the interaction with the hostess over the phone to change the reservation was down right rude! We have family in the area and have frequented both the tavern and conservatory restauarants for over 20 years along with staying at the inn. No more!
Beautifully prepared food in a romantic setting. Service impeccable and friendly.
We were there for New Year's Eve, a night when food and service are often bad in restaurants and the noise level high. We were pleasantly surprised. The food here was excellent and the ambiance quiet and perfect. We will be back.
Awesome, just awesome
usually have a good experience with their 4 course menu which is a value but this time they only has a fixed menu which they neglect to tell diners. Food was over priced and not a good selection. The tavern was much better and fairly priced for lunch
New Year's Eve brunch was wonderful...food, service & ambiance exceeded expectations...we'll be back
Driving up from Pennsylvania we had made a 6:00 reservation but arrived at 5:15. Unexpectedly, we were seated early and, best of all because we were seated before 5:45 we were eligible for the 3 course prix fix dinner for $23.00. What a pleasant surprise! I had the best chicken pot pie in my life and my companions had the sirloin tips they thoroughly loved. Portions were generous and so were the delicious desserts. We absolutely, definitely recommend The Daniel Webster Inn ....especially that prix fix menu!
Our waiter was personable and very efficient...we could not have asked for better service or better food. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening in the tavern with a fire burning in the fireplace!
Food was good but not super hot. Server was Lovely but very busy.
fun evening with girlfriend to celebrate Christmas
This is a really great spot for meeting friends or a family get together. The food was yummy and the atmosphere devine.
Had a great dInner at the Daniel Webster Inn this past Monday night. Celebrating husbands birthday. I had the salmon and hubby had the prime rib. Everything was done perfectly. Our waitress was great. Checking on us as needed but not overly so
Wonderful food and great place for special occasion dinners.
This is a great place. We love the cozy atmosphere. There is a very good variety of choices on the menu. The soups are wonderful. Can't beat the service, and the bartenders are the best.
There were three of us in our party. Drinks were great, atmosphere great. Food was beautifully presented. We each had something different. All tasted good.
Was expecting more based on the reviews. Cool historic spot, but food was average and service was slow (although server was very nice). You expect slow service on cape in summer but not off season. Luke warm food and an empty glass for 20 plus minutes. Wanted to love this place....bummer.
We had a wonderful BFF Christmas lunch in the lovely Dan'l Webster dining room, all decked out for the holidays, and were seated right next to its beautiful Christmas tree, with a front row view of the fountain on the patio, w/ its decorative array of icicles in the midst of the splashing water.
Wonderful lunch entrees included delicious chicken pot pie served at the table over puff pastry; also though not an entree, the French onion soup w/ gobs of Jarslberg atop a crouton was more than enough for lunch. We overindulged with peanut butter cheesecake and an ice cream sundae, not to mention wine. It's Christmas!
Festive nice time in the tavern - good service, great martini, ok food
Only because it was near Christmas the garden room was filled with almost all women and the noise level was incredible, I counted only 4 men in the dining room, smart.
We asked for quiet table for 4 and were seated next to a large, happy and chatty group of women!
What a beautiful light filled room. Food was delicious, service quick without being rushed. A very pleasant experience reasonably priced.
It was a lovely birthday lunch, with holiday decorations.
