What a great choice for Thanksgiving dinner! Upon arrival staff was welcoming and practiced excellent social distancing and sanitary protocols. We were seated at a table by the fireplace and our waiter was kind and helpful. I was concerned because when I made the reservation online it said there were no special menus and there was no place to mention my gluten allergy. But our waiter was most helpful and I was served a heaping plate of gluten free goodness including stuffing and gravy. They also had a vegetarian menu. My husband's dinner and wine were superb as well. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Thanksgiving seems to be one of those meals loaded with too much salt, but that was not the case here, it really was well done. We were not rushed and they even had my very favorite tea from Harney & Sons, mint verbena to top of this incredible meal. What a blessing!
Delicious food (difficult decision with so many great selections) and attentive service. Beautiful atmosphere. We had an excellent time!
Food was very good. Service was great. Monday night so dining room was fairly empty but we had a wonderful dinner to celebrate a birthday.

My family and I have been going to the Daniel Webster aka DW for more than 30 years. We no longer live close, but make it a point to eat at the DW whenever we are in the area. My mom and I enjoyed lunch there on Nov 7, 2020. The DW Inn and town of Sandwich offer an abundance of charm. The Inn is very clean and all COVID guidelines are followed. We started our lunch of by slitting a small bottle of Kendal Jackson and an appetizer of scallops and bacon. The scallops were tender and the bacon crisp! My mom had the ruben with sweet potato fries and I had the cod with lobster butter sauce. The cod is a popular item on their menu and it is very flavorful. I did not try the ruben, but was fortunate to sneak a few of the fries. DW's sweet potato fries are fantastic, crunchy and salty. Keep in mind that we ate in the pub. If you'd like fancier food they have a full menu and I highly recommend asking to be sat in the conservatory.

We went for the early bird. My husband got the prime rib which he loved. But the cod with lobster and the chicken with risotto were really small and while they were good - they were a little bland. The chicken was in strips so a little dry.
We will try again from the full menu.

The Dan’l Webster Inn is located in Historic Sandwich Village, fine dining, reasonably priced and Covid Friendly... Wonderful to sit at a table with Crisp white Linen table cloth and napkins not blowing in the breeze... We ate in the atrium with it’s view of their waterfall and pond... Glass walls and ceiling made it feel like the great outdoors without the weather... Love that room, best to book ahead, we were there for 2:00 Lunch left close to 4pm Totally un-rushed. Plenty of Time to have dessert I had their “Creme Brûlée” different choice each time I’ve been their... Will be Back, Again & Again...

The crusted Cod was delicious! Our waitress was so pleasant and professional. We would definitely eat here again!

The atmosphere for dinner in the Conservatory is wonderful and the food and service is excellent. We were seated in time for the Early Evening Three Course Dinner, which offered several delicious options for appetizer, entree and dessert. The meticulous attention to pandemic safety measures helped us dine in ease.

Another great experience at the DWI. Shane was very accommodating seating us on an usually busy Wednesday night. Tara at the bar offered excellent, attentive service, and of course Chef prepared delicious offerings. This place continues to be one of the best kept secrets on Cape Cod (and it shouldn't be!)

Pretty outdoor patio that could have used a little plant trimming. Food good but expensive and not outstanding .Fries in particular are nothing special. Lobster chowder was the star of the meal. Service very good but we had diners nearby whose phones kept ringing loudly and then they would stand up bleach to talk to the callers. Foe a pricey venue, definitely ruins the ambience. No music which would help.

Everything was excellent as it always is!
Our server was very pleasant and thoughtful. She offered to remove the umbrella at our table in order to provide an unobstructed view while we ate. The food was delicious as always and the wine list was perfect!

Server was respectful of our desire to take our time, outside seating was a longer walk than expected though worth it during this Covid-19 conscious time. Food arrived hot and was quite good. I hadn't been there in a decade though as delightful as I remembered.

Had a very nice dinner at Dan'l Webster Inn celebrating our anniversary with my husband. The service was great! Never had to wait long for anything. The filet Mignon was delicious as was my husband's Prime Rib.

The scenery in the atrium where we had our breakfast was breathtaking and totally unexpected. I won’t ruin anyone’s surprise, but if you can, do request the atrium. The coffee was excellent and breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Our server was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend and will return.

We stayed at the Inn and thought it would be nice just to walk to dinner. The food was less than fair (at best) especially for the price. I had to send my Fillet back because it wasn't cooked as ordered. We also had a Prime Rib and ordered an end cut, which they said they had. It was actually a regular cut and it appeared to just go under the broiler for a few minutes. Neither had great flavor. We had to special request water, condiments, etc. As I said nothing special, and it was a birthday celebration, which was noted on the reservation.
