Went to eat but nobody informed us the restaurant had closed early even with making reservations
Based on what I ordered, (Chris' special), I would not recommend this restaurant. My friend however, ordered a fish dish and it was good. So, I would say, be very discriminating in how you order.
This is a pleasant restaurant with food that was nicely done.
The asssets are the positives attitude of all the wait staff and its proximity to many theaters
Went here for dinner before seeing a show. The staff was very attentive and efficient, and we loved all of our food! The atmosphere is also very cute and personal. We’ll be back again!
Server hated us because we didn’t order drinks. Basically pushed us out.
Chicken parm was very good. Nice and tender. Portion size was just right. I can’t comment on price, every meal in new too expensive.
Unremarkable but competent Italian comfort food. No regrets.
The food was only fair. Disappointed to see that the pricing on the menu was considerably higher than shown on the menu displayed on Open Table. Service was rushed. Seemed that the priority was turning over tables as quickly as possible. Don’t plan to ever return.
Overpriced, but food was good. Convenient to theatre, but save your money - or spend it somewhere a little more off the beaten path.
Excellent food and the service to match. We enjoyed our dinner and the ambiance.
Food is delicious! We had a table upstairs and it was very quiet. Our dinner reservation was for 6:00 on a Sunday and it was perfect. Service was great and the employees were very attentive.
Food was amazing! Quick and attentive service. Ambiance was great. Would definitely recommend!
Would definitely recommend this restaurant. First class
This was our second time and we enjoyed it even more than our first experience. Great authentic food with friendly service. Will definitely be back again.
Great food; casual, comfortable atmosphere. Good place for a pre-show dinner.
Nice place, enjoyed the food, what you expect for a mid-level Italian spot in the theater district. The worst basket of free bread I’ve ever had at a restaurant but luckily that meant I didn’t fill up on bread so I got to enjoy my pasta.
The food and ambiance were good. Great location close to the theater. Overall, a nice dinner with great service.
Great food, they offer prefix menu and all was delicious
The arugula salad and Margherita pizza were both tasty, lots of cheese on the pizza which I like. I did not like the glass of red sangria that I had. The wait staff were very friendy and attentive, from the gentleman who greeted us at the door, to all the staff who took care of our table. Would definitely eat there again!
We enjoyed our meal, service was excellent and we would definitely recommend to our friends!
The food is always consistently good and the service is terrific!
The food & service was excellent! We were not rushed & we would absolutely go back again.
Great service and friendly wait staff. Our waiter had a wonderful sense of humor. Delicious lasagne and cheesecake. Will definitely go back!
Food was only fair and everything heavily laced with garlic. Service was hyper fast giving the impression they needed to turn over the table very quickly. Value for price was low. I would not go back.
Best mussels in town!
Great deals and fair prices. They do not skimp on portion size!
We had dinner with friends before seeing a Broadway show. The location was perfect and the service was fast, however the food was just ok. It is a good spot for taking families.
Slow service, too few servers, no knowledge of gluten in their menu to assist a customer with celiac
Pre theater Sunday brunch. Variety of food ease cellent
Went to Daniela's for pre-theater dining. Was seated quickly and orders were taken quickly. Food arrived quickly and was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The mushroom risotto balls were particularly excellent and I'm already looking forward to ordering them again on our next visit. The main course servings were generous. Bottom line - the food was good, the prices were not unreasonable, and they got us out with more than enough time for us to get to our show.
Best bolognese, pasta cooked perfectly. Great spot before or after the theatre.
If you're headed to the theatre Danielas is a great stop. Great Italian food. The short rib parpadelle was amazing !
This was one of the worst meals ever! It took 45 minutes for our food to be served. Several nearby tables that came in after us were finished with dinner and dessert before our food came. My husband ordered linguine with clams and red sauce, however,it was clearly in a white sauce. The waiter told us”it’s olive oil and garlic...that’s red” and then brought over a bowl of tomato sauce to the table! Due to our extremely poor experience, the waiter took 15% off our bill... not enough for this bad meal! Also, I had salmon over spinach... awful!!
We decided to give this place a chance before heading to a Broadway show. We started with the mozzarella sticks and caesar salad. Both were decent but nothing too special. I ordered the lasagna which came out cold. I think it would have been a lot better if it was warm. I never send back food because I worked in a restaurant before and know how mad cooks get when things are sent back. My partner got the Sicilian Pot Pie and he liked it a lot. It was not only hot but also spicy. We ended the evening with a cannoli which was average at best. Overall the meal was just OK. I wouldn't reccomend or not reccomend the place. It's just ordinary and nothing too special.
Great place for an quick and early dinner before a 7:00 curtain. Service was fast without being rushed. Food was a mix of very good and just OK, but nothing was bad. The soups were very good, as was the eggplant parm. The chicken in the chicken parm was thin and over-fried, but the sauce was fine and it was all edible. We'll go back, but won't order the chicken parm next time.
We went to dinner at 6:00 PM on a Sunday after a Broadway matinee. Great location - nice ambiance - Lasagna was very good and the Campagnola was excellent. Staff was very attentive and Daniela's did NOT feel like the typical Broadway tourist trap!
One of the most amazing dining experiences in New York City - perhaps in All of America. Excellent Delicious Innovative Food served by Professional, Friendly Staff. Superb caviar options and amazing champagne and wine list. One fantastic restaurant for celebrations or a romantic evening.
Went for a pre-theatre dinner and it was very good. Loved the eggplant parm and it had a very nice vibe. Tables were a touch too close together, but it’s a good value for quality Italian food. The house Chianti far exceeded my expectations!
Food was outstanding, service terrific. We were promptly seated and served without feeling rushed. Great location.
Nice little restaurant off 8th Ave. very convenient to our show. But quite congested and noisy pre showtime. Understandable on a Saturday evening, but it did detract a little. Lite fare was good. Cesear salad was outstanding. Very small glasses of wine with dinner?! But, overall, we had a good time
