    Nice variety on the menu and great place to meet for a business lunch. In and out quickly and easy to have a conversation in a quiet setting. Food was really good and pricing was just right.

    Went there for my wife’s birthday and had a great experience. It was very noisy and hard to hold a conversation but besides that we enjoyed it.

    I would have loved to been able toorder a salad, perhaps a Cesar salad or tossed salad, The ones offering were not what we were looked for. I don’t enjoy beets or grapefruit in my salads.

    We started with the cheese plate which was divine although we felt some additional bread or crackers would have been nice. My husband had the salmon which was perfectly cooked although the bed of cous cous or whatever it was served on was less than palatable. I had the gulf white fish which was excellent and the succotash it was served on was quite tasty. The atmosphere is sterile in appearance and the noise is such that you hear everyone’s conversation. It’s off putting. We enjoyed our meals and I would consider going back but not for a romantic date. I made an anniversary reservation and no mention was made of our special occasion that’s quite disappointing. Ultimately the food was great though.

    We met a couple for dinner. It happened to be their anniversary, which they kept secret, until we left. You would have thought it was announced. Everything was perfect! The service was outstanding and the food incredible. The tomato/watermelon salad and fried oysters were delicious. My husband had the chicken dish which did not disappoint. Our friend had the white fish which I will get next time! I love the atmosphere at Daniel George. It is quaint but sophisticated with modern elements. The bar is a great place to have happy hour and meet up with friends.

    Maybe I made poor food choice Was trying to eat something I don’t cook at home and healthy option. Shrimp was fine, just what I ordered, quinoa was fair. Splurged on fried green maters, served piping hot but wish they had been cut thinner. Next time I will choose southern fare🤗 Needed peas or greens with my bread !!!!

    When booking out reservations, we were asked if we were celebrating an occasion and if we had any special requests. My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and that we would love some mock-tail recommendations since we don’t drink alcohol. I was very disappointed when neither one of these were recognized after it was specifically asked in our reservation. The appetizers were delicious - braised pork ravioli and mushroom crostini. I ordered the gulf white fish (grouper) for my entree. The fish was over cooked, unfortunately, but had delicious flavor. I also ordered the crème brûlée for my dessert, which is my favorite. I was very disappointed when the top of it tasted completely burnt. The atmosphere and our waiter were great, but overall I just had much higher expectations. It was nice to try somewhere different, but sad to say that we probably wouldn’t eat here again.

    It was really loud for a romantic dinner, yes I understand noise level. But I wouldn’t recommend for a romantic dinner. Food was awesome, service was great. I just couldn’t hear my wife.

    It was very noisy but a great place for large groups. They moved us to the front which was much better. The menu looked great and we had a hard time deciding. Everything was delicious. The dessert lava cake was very small without much ice cream so that was disappointing but overall it was great! We will definitely go back.

    Great place for a quiet romantic or serious business meal. Food is always exceptional, wine list is relatively short, but excellent (who has time to brouse 50 pages anyway?), and the servers are knowledgeable, helpful, and, most importantly, friendly.

    My wife and I had a very nice evening at DG. Service was super. She had the hearts of romaine salad and I had the sweet corn soup. Both were excellent. For our main entrees, she had the salmon and I had the pork piccata. Both were a tad bit dry but very tasty. For desert we shared the chocolate molten cake, again excellent. Overall we enjoyed and will give this place another go down the road.

    Daniel George is an excellent restaurant. I requested reservations at 1130 for 4 through Open Table for Fri Jun 16, 2023. I was told there was nothing available for 1130, so I reluctantly chose 1145. When we arrived at the restaurant there were multiple tables available. I asked the hostess about 1130 reservations... she said the restaurant had multiple tables available at 1130 and had no idea why Open Table would say that there were no tables available then. I was told to call her directly if Open Table could not accommodate me. I'm disappointed in Open Table. Anne Maura
