The food is always consistent and very good. The experience is as expected from Angelo!
Food, service and ambiance were all fantastic. Great find!
Very unusual to have slow service in your restaurant. My Branzino, grilled, was very dry, was offered no sauce, though cooked properly.
Friend's shrimp with pasta was totally shrimp-deficient!!!--only 4!
We moved to different outside table because the A/C unit supplying our table was OFF!
Please FIX this.
Dinner is always a pleasure! So nice to see the manager walking around the tables and asking if everything is good. We went for "oyster night". They are the best! We could probably devour 2 dozen each, but didn't want to make pigs of ourselves, so we got a modest 1 dozen each. Then we had the calamari soup - EXCELLENT! It's prepared in a light tomato broth with veggies, lots of garlic, calamari and shrimp. And of course, we had to have some pasta! Didn't have room for dessert - next time!
Excellent food and attentive service!
Decent Italian food, but unfortunately not authenticate Italian. Many dishes have been Americanized. Zucchini Flowers are authentic Italian but overpriced at $4 per (small) flower. Eggplant Parmigiana has crushed garlic in sauce (definitely not authentic Italian). Sauces are laid on thick and in huge amounts unlike in Italy.
Great fresh pasta and pizza. Ask your server for off menu favorites.
The food was not as I remembered from years back. The quality and presentation is just not how I remembered. All in all, it was good, but not great. The food was a bit bland I have to say. The service was so so, but they do get a pass, as it is hard to find help these days (COVID related issues). I will definitely give them another try, as I used to live this place. As we climb out of this COVID hole, I would imagine restaurants will begin to get back to normal.
Superb service and food and great value on the wine.
My steak special and my wife's branzino special were outstanding, staff is very polite and efficient, wine selection is short but thoughtful. It's 45 min drive for us but we definitely be back.
Always first rate food and service ! The pizza is the best I've had outside of Rome and the scallops were melt in your mouth perfection !
As always, Angelo's is the best. Food and service were excellent. New on the menu is the grilled octopus - very tender and delicious! Oysters on Wednesday nights are great!
We keep returning bring new friends, all who return themselves. Always delicious dishes and service. This time we ordered the following and all were up to our high expectations: EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA, OCTOPUS Salad (substituted brocollini for potatoes for small upcharge), Greek Salad and ZUCCHINI FLOWERS (mozzarella stuffed tempura). Even though tapas, portions were large enough for take home. Reasonably priced name wine by the glass.
This was my first visit to Angelo Elia. I was really looking forward to it... I was fairly satisfied overall! The entrees, Cremona Pizza and Linguine Vangole were exceptional! The pizza was one of the best I have ever had. Very very good!
The appetizer we got was the next Frito Misto, basically fried vegetables as well as calamari and squid mixed together. It was really really greasy... and very soggy... I think maybe it have sat too long or have been reheated... Not sure, but kind of made my stomach a little queasy.
Service was okay... I think our server would have been very good had she not had what I counted was about eight tables; she seemed overwhelmed. She actually walked by us several times as we're waiting for the check and did not acknowledge us... I think she was just a little too busy.
Overall...I will return, but definitely NOT for the FRITO MISTO!
Music too loud service slow
Food and service were both very good. I would recommend.
At Angelo Elia, we are welcomed like family! The food is amazing and the Chef Amadeo creates inventive dishes and many specials inspired by high quality ingredients. We enjoyed the delightful grilled artichoke salad and crab cakes piccata. The linguine vongole was al dente with succulent clams and just the right amount of seasoning. Cristiana is a wonderful server and always greets us warmly and gives great recommendations. The wine list is comprehensive, but has many great choices at a variety of prices. We savored the Tenuta San Antonio Amarone, which was luscious. Stefan always visits with us and oversees that all guests have an enjoyable evening. This place is a true local gem!
Very consistent great food combined with excellent welcoming staff
This one of our FAVORITE places! The food is constantly great and the staff goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great dining experience. Need a good waiter, ask for Alex!
Went there expecting the same great food that is always served only to find out upon our arrival that Giovanni, the head chef retired three weeks prior. The service was great as always and the ambiance was still as good as it always was but.....the food was just well below the expected standard. Over cooked and overly salty veal milanese. (so over cooked it was difficult to cut with a serrated knife) The escarole and beans app was half the normal portion and also overly salty. And my wife's salmon was just plain awful.
BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Been regular patrons there for many years.
I have been coming here often and the food is very good, and great service too. Good dining room options.
From the valet when we arrived to server Gulsah it was a great meal.
The whole restaurant is an excellent choice for lunch dinner or brunch.
The food is great because the chef uses only the best ingredients and that makes for a superb meal.
Pleasantly surprised by nice, contemporary, covered outdoor space. Great service and good food.
I dined at Angelo Elia's with a friend and we both enjoyed the dining experience. We sat in the side room and found it very pleasant and seating was spaced well. I ordered the house salad with the clams and mussels in spicy sauce and that was enough as a dinner. Very tasty and fresh ingredients. My friend enjoyed the EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA appetizer which was also sufficient as a meal. Great deal on prices, service and food.
My dish had so much garlic, I couldn't eat it, so bad ordering choice on my part. Overall great restaurant though. Service is outstanding!
Always great. Clean, great service. Food always a delight. - great lunch time spot for friend or biz.
Went for Mother’s day celebration. Service was horrible.
Slow and they got us one wrong item. I am a customer of the Weston location and I have never had bad service in Weston.
Love sitting on the veranda! The ambiance is lovely, except for the traffic noises (especially from motorcyclists). Not your fault!
Our waiter, Victor, was fantastic and made our dining experience wonderful! Thank you Victor!
I’ve been to Angelo Elia many many times, but last night was the first time since the pandemic. My party was seated on the East patio in the northeast corner. It was so noisy, due to street traffic. With the noise and the terrible service, it was not a good evening. Our server, whose name I can’t remember- but we recognized as having worked there for several years, was absolutely terrible. He left the table before everyone placed dinner orders (we had to track him down to come back) he was slow to bus dirty dishes between courses and once the entrees arrived, he failed to make sure everyone had utensils. So, we again had to track him down for utensils. Not a good time.
Great food. Nice patio seating.
Had a wonderful time! Service was amazing and the food is great!
First visit here and will return. Great selection of tapas and first placed we’ve found in So FL that offers zucchini flowers. They were stuffed, lightly breaded and fried. We also had the buffarella with prosciutto. Also had the Pizza Rustica and this pizza was probably the closest to what we’ve had in Italy. Appreciated that we had time to eat our tapas before the pizza was delivered. Only thing that we didn’t care for was the Nutella Pizza although there was nothing wrong with it.
The place is light which is a nice change from so many dark interiors.
Lots of employees handling tables and others servicing take out, which seemed to be a thriving business.
I’ve been here many times, always good.
Excellent food service and atmosphere
Our server was excellent, the best of the best. I forget his name right now, but he was from Milan and has served us twice now always with exceptionality. He’s a pure pleasure.
Service was poor
Was our wedding anniversary no acknowledgement made
Cold bread no oil brought until I asked them had to reorder bread
Had to ask for beverage list
Mariana is the BEST server!! We had delicious Blue Point oysters -- fresh, no sand, and sweet. We're 'regulars' and love this restaurant. After I made reservations thru Open Table, the restaurant called to find out where we would like to be seated. We chose the the South Patio. And -- they allowed us to reserve 2 dozen oysters for our dinner!!
I was not told my reserved table would be next to a very very loud birthday party of approximately 20+ people and a mariachi band that was impossibly loud. I should have been warned and no viable alternative was available except for indoor dining. Really unacceptable.
I had a reservation for two at 7:30 but we were early .We were seated immediately great female Spanish server.Sold me on the spinach ravioli. My date had chicken parm ( large portion) Calamari was great app. We stayed until closing and had 2 B52 coffees that were great . Thx Bartender!! All in perfect night for me- we will return❤️
