   I took 5 longtime friends there who were visiting. We had an amazing experience and Maggie was more than fantastic. The meal, service and atmosphere was perfect for the end of a fun weekend. And dessert was simply incredible!

   My wife recommends the tea brined pork chop. I had some. Porky did not die in vain. Beautiful, comfortable place. Easily accessed. Great food and beverages.

   Grace is always excellent at making drinks and super friendly and courteous. We ate at a table tonight and our server was Justin. He was absolutely outstanding. Very knowledgeable, unobtrusive and his recommendations were spot on!

   Nothing in Townsend, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg comes close to the dining experience at Dancing Bear.

   The food is awesome. I had the filet and it ranked up there as one of the best I’ve ever had.

   The Dancing Bear Bistro sits on grounds that are breathtaking in lush green grass and beautiful Appalachian style landscaping. The Interior was clean and very inviting to the senses. The changing seasonal menu is artfully assembled to please almost every culinary inclination. Our waitress Aileen was absolutely superlative at her job; patient and calm and dealt with the many queries that the children had, very gracefully. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and accommodating; she has the culinary gift and depth of knowledge to impress any foodie. Children allergies were accommodated with ease and expertise.    We love everything about The Dancing Bear and will go every time we are in the area. Best food, drinks and ambiance just a short drive from Gatlinburg.

   This restaurant exceeded all expectations. Top notch food and service. Great location tucked away in the woods with a classy but rustic feel. One of the best Filets I’ve ever had. Better than anything I’ve ever ordered at Ruth’s or Capital Grill. Tip of the hat to this Chef.
