We hope you join us soon!
Service and food were superb.
Went in for dinner at 7:30pm on a Saturday night and by 8:30 were one of only 2 tables left. The customers seemed to fit squarely into the "retirement age" bracket throughout the night. Our group of 5 had mixed reviews on the food, but most of what came with my Ribeye was still cold when it arrived (5-10 mins after the rest of the meals).
The one bright spot: Our server was an absolute gem; funny, attentive, and not overbearing.
Overall, not an experience I'd wish to repeat. Some work needs to happen in the kitchen to bring this place back to life.
Great food and great people. Good for foodies. Great full bar also!
Husband and I had a “date night!” Food was awesome! Service was great! Overall it was a perfect evening to sit outside and enjoy the awesome weather we are having!
Dana’s has a great location in a quiet tree lined area and has recently installed booths outdoors for our more comfortable dining this visit. Food was excellent as always, and Henri provided excellent service.
Father’s Day dinner on the patio. Always good! We dine here often.
We have dined at Dana's often, but last time it was a major disappointment. The filet of sole used to be good, this time it was overly battered, not fresh, and over cooked. The salmon was dry and sub par. The spinach fettuccini sauce was not adequately distributed throughout the pasta itself, instead it surrounded the pasta like a moat around the island of pasta. We sat outside, but they were blaring the television sound from the bar through the speakers. And to top it all off, they trundled a garbage can through the dining room and outside dining area during the height of dinner time!
Lots of great new appetizer options. Staff is very accommodating.
Great service! Food was excellent. Wine tasting event and music made this special.
I've eaten at Dana's four times and it is always a good experience. The service is always
good and this time it was exceptional. Dory was our server.
First time here but plan to go again due to great service, delicious food and reasonable prices. It was a lovely night so we sat outside which was delightful.
Enjoyed our lunch at Dana’s. The Food was great! I had the Fritto Misto Salad , tasty Monterey Calamari with cashews, cilantro, carrots in a lovely chili ginger vinaigrette & Aleppo Aioli. It was wonderful!
My friend had the Blackened Ahi Tuna Steak Salad. It looked beautiful & tasted fantastic! Highly recommend these items.
We love going to Dana's. It is privately owned and has a wonderful neighborhood feel. The owner can be seen walking around and nodding politely not wanting to interrupt our dining experience. It's casual but elegant with white table clothes. The staff is friendly and will greet you with "welcome back" when you arrive if you are a regular. The dining area has been upgraded to include some very nice booths. They also have outdoor dining with booths. I had the Petrale sole which was perfectly done in a lemon butter sauces, creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable. One of our guests had the Neiman Ranch pork chop and he raved about it. Their Caesar salad has a homemade dressing that is garlicky and tangy...yummy. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of the food and lovely ambiance. They also have a bar area that is fun to sit and dine in. All in all, it has become one of our favorite go-to restaurants for friends and family.
Service very slow with an almost empty dining room. Had to asking for our requests such as ketchup, more tea, etc.
We have always enjoyed going here and love many of the dishes including the salmon, filet, steak salad and sole. On this trip, we arrived at 7pm with reservations (on Mother's Day) and were seated at 7:40pm. We left at 9:50pm. The restaurant was overwhelmed (I guess for the holiday) and the kitchen was amazingly slow, and there was a lot of tension -- we saw many upset guests.........also, they were out of salmon, filet and had only 1 order of scallops (we ordered 2). When we were served, the sole and chicken were really good -- the scallops were overcooked and the ribeye (substituted for the filet) was average. The crab louie was generally good, but all of their salads use iceberg lettuce -- they should mix it up. We were provided a bottle of wine for free and our server Robin was great, and kept us posted on the ongoing challenges. We hope they figure out the issues, as we generally enjoy going here. The manager was not overly sympathetic.
Wait for main entree was 45 minutes and 2 of us just had salads with salmon and steak. Salad was terrible and steak was burned. I understand it was a busy night since it was Mother’s Day but it was under staffed
We will not be back.
3rd time and won’t go back
Reserved and showed up at 5:30 for dinner on Mother’s Day and hoped to best the crowd- ended up waiting 1.5 hours before getting our meals and only after I had to go to the kitchen and push the chef and waitress; and many other patrons were also complaining- 3rd time this has happened- waitress kept apologizing - will never go back nor recommend to friends at my country club
Mother’s Day brunch. Out of food, bad quality, overpriced
Fabulous food, great service , great time with my kids
This was the worst Mother’s Day experience for our family.
The Petrale and the Crab Salad were excellent. The service was spot on.
We always love Dana's, and the staff is wonderful.
We asked for a window table in the bar area & they were very accommodating. The staff was amazing. Friendly & attentive. Food was great. We will definitely go back again.
Terrific This wasn't our first dining at Dana's, but the rating is the same... outstanding.
I read several great reviews and was not disappointed. Food and service stood out. We'll be back!
Our waiter, Eduardo was excellent!! He was very helpful and smiley. The filet was wonderful .
My husband had the special, Spare Ribs. They were more like pot roast. We love coming here.
Wish you would put the Brushetta back on the menu though!!
This place is our new favorite! Great vibe and amazingly good food.
We had dinner here on a Friday night and the food was very good. We had been a few months back as well. We had Dori as our server both times and she is friendly & efficient. We had cocktails, brought our own wine (corkage is $20), caesar salads, clam chowder and entrees. My husband & son both had the NY Steak special. It was tender and accompanied by potatoes and asparagus. I had the scallops as they were delicious the last time I had them. I was not disappointed. We were too full for dessert. We were seated at a booth s
o it was not too noisy and we were left alone to visit & dine at our leisure. Great spot!
The whole experience was excellent from the time we entered until leaving a couple of hours later. Private booths make for distraction free dining with friends. The food was not only great tasting, but beautifully presented. The eggplant parmesan is a work of art .
Food and rustic ambiance are attractions to us at this small restaurant. Service by Dori and her aids was exceptional.
I really don’t know how Dana’s stay in business. This is my third time there and it will be my last. Every time I go there is a problem. Yesterday they screwed up two of the orders and by the time they got it right the orders that weren’t screwed up were cold. Although the waiter apologized they didn’t do anything else except blame the kitchen.
We arrived for our 7:30 reservation and were told it would be 20 min for a table to open up. We sat outside and had some wine while we waited for a table inside. We ordered our food then the waiter told us the chef had an emergency and that he had to leave. We would wait another 20 minutes for our food. The waiter offered us a cup of soup but we declined as we had already shared the calamari. When the food arrived, it was delicious! Dana’s is one of my favorite places to eat. I always order the petrale sole as it is done perfectly. Although we ate later than we normally do, the service was still very good and the food excellent.
Great food, great service, could’ve used little more ambiance given it was high-end, ...but would go back!
Great service, my crab louie was terrific. I did forget my to go left over box- I was wondering if they could have called since they had my phone number to come back and retrieve.
Food was well prepared, presented well and tasty.
Serice was prompt, friendly without being obtrusive
Prices were reasonable
Dana's is now a go-to restaurant for us. Food is consistent, drinks are well-made. This time, however, the owner kept wandering by our table and staring at us as we were almost finished. It was very crowded that night and it was obvious he wanted us to give up our table. This was annoying and uncomfortable.
Our first time there and we will be going back. The food was excellent. I started with their onion soup and my wife with I had the scallops and my wife the seafood stew. The scallops were perfectly grilled and served on a bed of delicious vegetables that were crispy and well flavored. Portions were generous. Service was good and staff and owner very friendly and responsive. Happy to find such a restaurant close to home.
Was pretty disappointed that my request was not honored. My friend and I were celebrating her birthday, but the restaurant would not acknowledge that.
