Great Xmas get together before The Christmas Carol! Great food, great place, great service!!
Great last minute decision when we got in to town. Close to our hotel and really enjoyed the service and food.
The restaurant was very nice but we were seated at a small table in a room with a private party. Our waiter was attentive and offered information about the restaurant and the local area, as we were from out of town.
The meat selection was offered with an ala crate selection. The charred broccolini was delicious but very spicy. The truffled mac and cheese was a great choice for diners who don’t typically eat pasta.
The one thing I have to complain about is our water was not refilled. We had two different times before our waiter finally took care of it.
We stayed for drinks after our meal and the bar scene was quiet with beautiful Christmas music sung by a lovely couple, The Brehms.
Great food and service!
Clint provided excellent service.
Food was poor quality. Medium rare tastes like a well done here.
Very good food and service! Will come back again.
First timers. Asked for recommendations from the waitresses to waiters. Spot on! (Thank you, Chip)
Saturday, 6 PM. Service was ok, not great. Just ok. We were seated immediately but waited almost 15 minutes for our server to take our drink order. The most bothersome part of my experience was the ladies room. It was a mess and clearly had not been serviced. Paper towels and tissue on the floor and the counter was covered with water.
The atmosphere was great and the service was great.
First time there. It is walking distance to the Majestic. Great food, service, and ambience!
The food has been great, but the service is what keeps me coming back. Great place for a wonderful meal.
Excellent service. Great food and wine. Could not ask for a better start to our Birthday celebration evening!
Very expensive alacart dinner. Dry aged rib eye was dry (medium ) the other (medium rare) was fatty. The $12 Beat salad comprised of 4 very tiny baby beats and some nice little beads of goat cheese, tastey in two bites. The bone marrow apitizer was stuck to the bone and maybe two tablespoons for $18. They had run out of the cobbler with ice cream. We had the Salted Carmel ice cream from Plano, TX...best ice cream I've ever eaten. Our waiter was great, friendly and good service.
What a wonderful place. This was a business dinner and we just wanted a good steak and hopefully fish mix. Did we ever get it the best steak I think we have eaten the lobster on top with sauce was above the best. Thank you foe. Great meal.
Service was slow, but they were very busy. Steak was phenomenal and twice baked too. Rated a 3 because of my wait time for drinks, ticket, and final bill
Excellent service and food! Our waiter Tom was very kind
Great service. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had from s restaurant. Would definitely go again.
We enjoyed our food and the service was very good.
Extraordinary. service, food and ambiance would get six stars if that was a choice. Really one of the best meals we’ve had in a while
Sorry, I wasn't blown away by this place. It was good, but was it $120 per head good? I don't think so.
The shrimp cocktail was OK - a very strong sauce, which I like, although obviously prepared much earlier in the day. I'm. Not against that in principle, but it was refrigerated so cold it made my teeth hurt.
The filet quality was just OK too. It was done a bit too well, although that is probably my fault for not knowing what Americans consider medium. They are heavy on the salt, garlic and rosemary, which was good.
I was eating alone, which I realise is harder to wait on. However each course (bread if that counts, starter, main) barely came out before I had time to finish the previous. They didn't even clear the used plates from the course before. What's the rush guys, there was hardly anyone in there?
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as Dallas/Texan steak had been hyped up to be.
Great, will be back in the future
Our hotel, the Magnolia recommended the Chop House for its steaks. The steak was outstanding. We loved the spicy cocktail sauce that came with the shrimp cocktail. The wedge salad was tasty. My husband cannot handle blue cheese, so they had other salad dressings available. But by far my favorite was the lemon creme brûlée with citrus topping, it was yummy. Our service was prompt, helpful, and friendly. Definitely worth it!!!!!!!
Darlene was our server and she was fantastic! The meal was great and we had amazing sides!! I couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire evening. Thanks Darlene-hope to see you in Boston 😉
Excellent rib eye and wonderful sides to share.
Overall the experience was very nice. The restaurant is comfortable and the service was very good. Unfortunately my steak was over cooked. I know I could have sent it back to be corrected but I was with clients and did not care to do so. I would go back.
Order was incorrect twice in a row. Very sloppy and rushed. Service was atrocious and waiter was rude.
Once again a great dinner after the Texas/OU football game! This year we had the victory. Service was prompt but not intrusive and the food was great as always.
Showed up on time and requested outdoor seating. Hostess showed me to one outdoor table which was reserved for another party then showed me to another table. Service seemed a little slow even though it was not crowded. Then, just after my two friends showed up and we ordered drinks, it started raining. The staff quickly moved the 3-4 outdoor parties to indoor tables and all was well. Food was delicious -- glass of Malbec, Ribeye, creamed spinach and crème brulee for me -- and the atmosphere was great. I had expected dinner to run about $100 a head and it was just under that but well worth it.
We love sitting outside, it was comfortable and pleasant. The lighting and the air conditioning from inside flowed to outside. The water had a cucumber, fresh tasting. The non alcoholic beer was the best. The bread was amazing. The artichokes and clams were so good, the filet, twice bake potatoes and Mac n cheese were delicious. We shared and we were stuffed. The service was great, more than 1 person taking care of you. Looking forward to coming here again, perfect night.
Husbands rib eye steak was full of gristled and wafer thin . At $45 this was unaccepatbale . Disappointing unattentive service
The steaks were GREAT!!!! The dinner rolls were very good as well.
Steaks were cooked perfectly. Friendly great service. Wonderful taste with all the apps and sides. You got to get the deviled eggs and the bacon wrapped asparagus!
Great place for a steak!
Was "ok"... Ambiance was a bit drab. Very expensive but we knew that. Service was best part.
Celebrated a friends birthday! The perfect dinner for 3 ladies on a birthday girls night
Manager went to sister restaurant and got Brussel sprouts as item is no longer on menus and that’s my wife’s favorite thing made them special.
The food was amazing. I took my wife here for our 11th year anniversary. I briefly mention it in a casual conversation while we were being shown to our seat. After we were seated they brought out a very nice bottle of champagne on the house. That let me know they were definitely paying attention and not just pretending to listen. I had the filet minon and the loaded potato. It was excellent! Cooked to perfection. My wife had the shrimp cocktail and crab cake. She said it was the best she ever tasted. We will defintely go back again.
Chip was our waiter and he was terrific. It was my birthday, and he treated me like royalty. They were very organized service. The Clam Chowder was the very best I have ever had. My pork chop was also outstanding. I would go back.
Incredible Steaks , Great Service , Prompt With Reservation. Will definitely go back.
