Celebrated a friends birthday! The perfect dinner for 3 ladies on a birthday girls night
Manager went to sister restaurant and got Brussel sprouts as item is no longer on menus and that’s my wife’s favorite thing made them special.
The food was amazing. I took my wife here for our 11th year anniversary. I briefly mention it in a casual conversation while we were being shown to our seat. After we were seated they brought out a very nice bottle of champagne on the house. That let me know they were definitely paying attention and not just pretending to listen. I had the filet minon and the loaded potato. It was excellent! Cooked to perfection. My wife had the shrimp cocktail and crab cake. She said it was the best she ever tasted. We will defintely go back again.
Chip was our waiter and he was terrific. It was my birthday, and he treated me like royalty. They were very organized service. The Clam Chowder was the very best I have ever had. My pork chop was also outstanding. I would go back.
Incredible Steaks , Great Service , Prompt With Reservation. Will definitely go back.
We visited restaurant week. The food and bloody mary were just so-so to me. My friend had to send her steak back as it was overcooked. For the price, it was expensive and just okay
Went for restaurant week. Excellent menu and good value. Everything was delicious! And don’t forget - the most amazing popovers!!!
We enjoyed our visit to the Dallas Chop House. We were in town for a conference and decided to celebrate our anniversary here! The food was fabulous, the staff was energetic and friendly. Great place to celebrate or just for a fun night out!
Restaurant week was not offered to us, we had to ask. Would think restaurants would be promoting this for the charity it supports, but they did not. The food was a bit slow to come out and the dessert was even slower. The food was tasty, however the salmon was paired with a sweet purée that was not complimenting at all. The steak was paired with a purple potatoe patty that was extremely off putting, as it looked like a black flat pile. The fish really needed a fresh element. The wine was good and the wait staff kept our waters full.
Great dining experience. Waiter Tom was great and we will visit again whenever back in Dallas again
Chip was a fantastic server and was helpful in pulling off a special surprise.
Everything was OK. I was hoping for 'wow'. I like my steak medium rare normally and that's what I initially ordered.. At the server's recommendation we allowed our steaks to be cooked medium. I figured he knew best working with their kitchen every day. What we got was really medium-well. That's disappointing, but I accept part of the responsibility for not just ordering what I normally would. Asparagus looked "old". Broccolini was good. Had to send the first order of truffle fries back because they were cold. They replaced the fries and removed them from the bill. The second order was excellent. Manhattans were excellent--very dry.
Nothing spectacular about this place, food was kind of bland. Definitely not worth the price!
Just does not match up to what we have come to know as top notch steak houses in the downtown area. Not even close to a true 4 star steak house in my opinion.
Tremendous value if you’re like me and prize exceptional service. The waiter Michael, although former army hehe, was still great!
Great steakhouse with excellent service, charming night,
I had the 18 day aged ribeye. My mon had the porterhouse. Both were prepared as ordered and quite delicious. We had the mac&cheese, mushrooms and backn wrapped asparagus as sides. All were very good except the 6 pieces of asparagus was the super thin grocery store variety and not what I expected for $10. Not quite top steakhouse in Dallas fare. Otherwise everything was great.
Its my first experienced at the Dallas Chop House and was not disappointed. The place is classy, courteous staff, great food. I definitely recommend the porterhouse steak. The meat was so tender and flavorful! I can almost say, all my guests expectation and some repeater were met!!! Thank you for making my birthday celebration memorable!!!!
Very enjoyable meals. Did not try the steaks even though they sounded great. Wine by the glass was limited.
Hubby treated me to dinner for my 34th birthday @ Dallas Chop House. We've been to many upscale steakhouses in the DFW area over the past few years, and this one did not disappoint. The ambiance was relaxing, service excellent and food amazing. We will absolutely return in the near future.
Amazing and great service
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent environment. Overall a great experience that I enjoyed with my wife and kids while visiting Dallas for a couple of days.
Our server was PHENOMENAL!!! We were a group of 6 in Dallas for business with our job at Southwest airlines and we were not accustomed to the style of restaurant. He made us feel welcomed and gave us information on anything we asked about. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!!! Thank you for a great experience.
Overpriced flavorless steak . No dressing on my salad had to ask for more!
Outstanding service. Nice selection of wines and a rotating cocktail list. Food was superb, and I don't eat meat or fish. Atmosphere is not really fitting for a date night, more fitting for a business dinner.
Great service from Clint! Food was good. Everything that came to the table from appetizer to dessert was great! No disappointments here. Never had a bad experience here and been coming since this place has been opened.
When in Dallas, I had often eaten at the chophouse for lunch and it was nice. I’ve never had dinner there and the last time I had been there was over a year ago. I have to say I was very disappointed in dinner. I had taken a group of work associates there for a nice dinner and my $50 steak was flavorless. I will not be returning.
My friends and I had tickets for a show at the Majestic, and the servers were very responsive to our time limitations. We all enjoyed our drinks and dinner very much!
We had a fantastic dinner while at Dallas Chop House. The only thing I would change is the sweetness of the butter used for bread and for drawn butter. All steaks were prepared as requested the first time! Logan was also an amazing server!
Outstanding staff that made our evening one to remember. Aged steaks were the best, salads delicious, desserts are sinfully over the top. Great experience.
The service was absolutely perfect. Knowledgeable, fast, friendly. The food was delicious, but my steak was noticeably undercooked. I did not want to bother with sending it back so I just ate what I could. I would have liked to see a wider variety of steak sizes. My smallest options for steaks were the Filet Mignon (cant remember the weight) and then a couple 18 oz steaks. That is massive! My husband was happy with his massive steak (porterhouse) but if I were to return I would choose something other than steak.
Amazing large steak! The special filet with lobster was amazing too.......
Good steaks and great salads. Had a 8 oz filet that was cooked perfectly and tasty. Wedge salad was huge and almost overfilled me. There’s enough for two people. Great decadent pop-ups as your complimentary bread with an herbed butter. We had a birthday and they brought out a free desert. Great patio and happy hour menu. Be sure to grab some of the happy hour popcorn, seasoned with truffle oil and Tabasco.
Service was excellent. It was a bit noisy for my taste. You really should get rid of the TVs in the bar.
Wine list was short and very pricy - -not much on it for any value - Silver Oak was $206 while only $176 at a like competitor. Sides were quite small and really adequate for only 1 and 2 at most. Steak was very good and cooked perfectly but not as good as Morton's Uptown or Perry's. Probably won't be back as there was nothing special on the menu to entice one. Will stay with the better steak houses.
Best Rib Eye that I have had in Dallas during my 6 month stay. Martini was very good, appetizer s very good and the rb eye was superb. Will go again and recommend.
We wanted a steakhouse for a special pre-theater meal. This was perfect and gave us the ambiance and food we were looking for. Our fabulous server was knowledgeable and gracious in her guidance. We highly recommend and look forward to visiting again sometime.
Incredible 30 day dry aged steak!
Our Waitress was AWESOME!!!! the food was excellent - everything was spot on!
The atmosphere was great and the food was too. Very relaxing experience
