Love the ribs but the noise is unbearable. Had to move twice and still noisy
Great food and atmosphere! The only down side is you can’t make a reservation!
Dallas BBQ's on 72nd & 3rd Ave in NY is a regular cheap food restaurant I frequent when I'm in town. But, lately the kitchen has been slacking... I always order the same thing everytime: shrimp appetizer, corn on the cob & texas size stella. The corn on the cob was so cold the butter didn't melt. The texas size plastic glass was dirty from the bar. And, the sad thing about it ... is that tge restaurant had just opened and me and two other ladies were the first patrons that day. I found it ridiculous that the take-out section opens before the main restaurant does... The only thing good about Dallas BBQ's is the points I get towards my OpenTable account. It use to be the texas-size drinks, but even those have gotten smaller in size; because they went from a glass to a plastic. I don't know why a texas style restaurant doesn't serve beer in a beer mug. But, the waiter was very nice and accommodating.
Everything was great.
I enjoyed the customer service and the food was served within a timely manner. However, the women's bathroom was not kept clean and was dirty.
Not too bad
Dependable and plentiful food and service, excellent value for the money.
Good spot for wings and drinks. Service is quick and the food is good.
Great value, big portions and decent priced. Amazing drinks.
I have been a patron at this BBQ location for several months and I have always received great service from the servers there. However, this time around I was highly upset. First, my reservations was not being accommodated because they stated that the establishment too busy to take my reservation and that I would have to wait over 20 minutes. Next, after receiving our drinks, it took nearly 45 minutes before the server came back to take our food order. The server never came back to ask us how we were doing and we had to flag him down to place our food order, and to receive our bill. Also, gratuity was automatically added to our bill when it was a party of only two people. I will reconsider going to this restaurant.
We had reservations thru open table and made it inside, but was refused seating and service by the manager, who spent ten minutes explaining that the kitchen was closing although open table showed availability up to 11:30 and our reservation was at 11:00 and we arrived at 11:08!!!... we're visiting from Atlanta Georgia after being gone from NY for 5 years!!! We made a Special Trip to BBQ's because that's where we met and now we're Married!!! The manager made Absolutely No Efforts to Accommodate!!!
Came for the early bird before seeing a broadway show. $13.95 for two is a great deal. 1/2 chicken, corn bread, salad and soup. The waiter did fail to offer us dressing for the salads and bring some extra napkins, which has always been our experience in the past. Overall, was very good and very inexpensive.
The best BBQs in NYC!!!
Do not recommend this location. It was very, very loud! It was extremely hot. Very poor
service. Overall poor experience.
The food and Service were phenomenal and the value is exceptional especially in NYC
The service was friendly and fast. The food was ok. I got shrimp skewers which were good. The accompanying veggies were overcooked. The salad was a little limp. I didn't order any typical BBQ dishes so I can't comment on their specialties.
Love it! Friendly service and very good. But unhealthy foods
Very very rude manager
First our appetizers never came my moms drink was not frozen just watery and the staff seamed to bizzy to tend to our table it was my brothers birthday they didn't sing after we let them kno they just shoved old cupcakes in my bag last time I go to bbqs ....
Went because niece wanted to go...
Great food. I reserved online and got seated in 1 minute which beat the door 20 minute wait time, waiter was effective and attentive. The only downside....the outer room was FREEZING. We were seated by the neon sign and outer door area and the draft on a night where it was 13 degrees out was horrible. There should be a heater in that area!
Always consistent. It's a standby whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Love the wings and beef ribs.
Server came by once after we got our food. Had to keep flagging her down to get more beverages and the bill. A 15% discretionary gratuity is added to the bill after 8:30 pm which makes no sense considering how bad the service was
Good value, good ribs, great pina colada! Noisy, but fun
Other than their asking us to relocate from a 5 top to a 4 top (which we declined to do) the experience delivered in their promise. Good (not great) BBQ at a value (relatively speaking for NYC).
I made my opentable reservation, got there a few min early and was told that they were not honoring reservations because it was a weekend and it would be a 30-45 min wait. This is unacceptable. If the system allows a reservation they should not add a significant wait time once you arrive.
Food was not good. Ordered boneless wing. They were dark meat and fatty. Not even eatable. The waiter was nice enough to remove it from the bill. When passing the kitchen on the way to the bathroom you could see how unkept it was. One of the toilets in the women's bathroom didn't even have a toilet seat. Would not recommend it.. and won't be going back.
It was ok staff was extra helpful food was fresh . they seated us quickly . but as always i could use a little more alcohol in my 🍹 😃
Dallas BBQ consistant and clean, fast and hot. Will go back
It was nice until ghetto people with no manners
And loud customers arrive
Good Waitor Good Seating for 10 people
Dallas BBQ's is a regular stop for me and the kids, but this time the food was horrible. My daugthers ordered the BBQ chicken & shrimp platter with the yellow rice. The rice was clumped together, cold, and smelled horrible; like they scraped the bottom of the pot and didn't care how the food looked, smelled, or taste. I brought it to our waiter and he quickly replaced the old rice with a new bowl of yellow rice that wasn't that much better. Even their famous corn bread was dry and cold. Not even the butter would melt.
Good food special but service was lacking. Food wasn't amazing but decent.
Good for bbq food. Servers friendly and nice.
I love this bbqs great food wonderful employees I recommend everyone to this 1
Seated fast, it was busy because of the breast cancer walk. Service was questionable at first but went smoothly after.
our go to for bbq. the best onion loaf in the world.
great place for families
I have never been to a BBQ restaurant that charges per piece, literally, one piece of rib per order. The food took forever and was not good. I wanted to like this place but the menu and service was off putting.
Poor food, dirty kitchen and bathrooms, poor service, no refills on soda. Stay away!!
